Life Style Sports love to develop our people into Store Management, Regional Management and Brand Centre roles. We help our teams to do this by offering the following training tools so that ultimately our customers consistently receive a superior experience when interacting with our brand:
A key part of an employee being successful and developing with Life Style Sports depends on their introduction to us! Management receive training in the Companyís selected centre of excellence training store. This training consists of one on one coaching sessions with the relevant brand centre managers, spending time with the Regional Security team and their Area Manager to understand role expectations and our procedures procedures. The remaining part of the training will consist of on-the-job training and coaching on all aspects of a managerís responsibilities.
We bring our store management and store teams together to drive customer service, visual merchandising standards & guide our teams on how to coach and develop our people. Being social is a key part of the Life Style Sports brand training.
Brand Partner Training
Life Style Sports HR & Training team work with our global brand partners to develop training programmes that are on brand for us! The purpose of this training is for teams to understand the key features and benefits of our products, to enhance their confidence when assisting customers and to provide the skills to upsell and add on sales. Supplier training takes the following forms:
Specialist Store Visits
During store trade Brands will visit our stores and coach employees through on-the-job training explaining the key features and benefits of products. Selling skills and techniques forms part of this session. Employees are encouraged to interact and ask the supplier rep questions and engage in role playing to increase customer service skills.
In conjunction with key product launches the brand will organise off-site training. This form of training blends class room based sessions with trial events to enable our teams to gain first-hand experience of trailing the product to increase their knowledge of our products.
