TERMS AND CONDITIONS – #MUNSTERNOALTERNATIVE COMPETITION
1. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of entry and the entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions. By entering into the Competition you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoters reserve the right, at their discretion, to exclude entrants and/or any winner and/or any runner-up if he/she does not comply with any of these terms and conditions. 2. The Competition is open to all UK and Irish residents aged 18 or over excluding employees of the Promoters, their associated companies, families, agencies or any other persons to whom they are professionally connected. 3. To enter the Competition, any time between Friday 1 August 2014 and 12:00pm Sunday 31 August 2014 entrants must either: (a) submit a valid and completed entry form as directed by a member of the sales team at any participating Lifestyle Sports or Official Munster Store; (b) submit a valid and correctly completed Competition entry form via the websites as indicated by the Promoters or (c) tweet the hashtag #allmunster followed by the your name and home town (for example "Jane Bloggs from London") from your Twitter account (‘Twitter’ entry). 4. Internet or Wi-Fi access may be required. 5. No purchase necessary. 6. One entry only per person. If more than one entry is received only the first entry will be accepted. Any entry made using false or dishonest information will be disqualified. 7. Any entries not meeting the above criteria and the specific terms of entry for the Competition shall be invalid. The Promoters will not be liable for any entries which are not received or which are corrupted for any reason. 8. The Promoters’ decisions will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 9. There will be one prize winner who will win two tickets for themselves and one guest to attend Munster RFC's mens first XV 2014/15 European Rugby Champions Cup (formerly the Heineken Cup) away fixture against ASM Clermont Auvergne (the 'Fixture'). The prize will include: accommodation for the winner and their guest for one night; standard class travel for the winner and their guest including flights to and from Shannon airport in Ireland (all flights and accommodation to be organised at the discretion of the Promoters), transfers to and from the destination airport and reasonable transport to and from the return airport; and 150 Euros spending money (the 'Winning Prize'). Any guest must be at least 18 years old. 10. The Winning Prize winner and their guest acknowledge that the availability, dates and times of the Winning Prize are subject to the schedule of fixtures as to be determined by the organisers of the European Rugby Champions Cup, over which the Promoters have no control. The Promoters will not be liable in the event that the Winning Prize winner and/or their guest is not available on or around the date and/or time scheduled for the Fixture. 11. It is the responsibility of the Winning Prize winner to ensure that they and their guest have valid passports, documents (including visas) and travel insurance for the trip. The Promoters shall not be responsible for ensuring the winner’s and their guest's ability to travel to the destination nor for any additional costs incurred should the Winning Prize winner and/or their guest be refused entry. 12. There will be five runners up who will win such prizes as follows: a. three runners-up who will each win two standard tickets to a Munster game as determined by the Promoters and one signed Munster jersey for each runner up; and b. two runners-up who will each win one signed Munster jersey (collectively the ‘Runner-up Prizes). 13. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute the Winning Prize and/or any of the Runner-up Prizes with prizes of equal or greater value in the event that any of the prizes described above cannot be provided to the winner and/or the runners-up. The Promoters shall not be liable in the event that any event forming the whole or part of any prize does not take place, is rescheduled, or postponed for any reason. 14. The Promoters shall not be liable should the winners and/or guests of the Winning Prize and/or Runner-up Prizes be refused entry into any event forming the whole or part of any prize. Any tickets forming the whole or part of any prize under this Competition are subject to the relevant event’s terms and conditions and event regulations. 15. The Promoters will select: (a) the Winning Prize winner at random from all correctly submitted entries; and (b) the five Runner-up Prize winners at random from all remaining correctly submitted entries (for the avoidance of doubt, the specific Runner-up Prizes will be awarded to the five runners-up on the basis of an additional random draw). on or around Sunday 31 August 2014 (for the avoidance of doubt, after the Competition closing time) and the Promoters will notify the winner and runners-up via the information provided on the relevant entry form save that any winner and/or runner-up submitted via a Twitter entry will be notified by a private message sent to the account through which the Twitter entry was made. The winner and runners-up may then be asked to provide further details which will be used by the Promoters to contact the winner and runners-up. If a winner or runner-up cannot be contacted, fails to confirm acceptance of the prize within 3 days of first attempted notification or cannot make use of the prize for any reason, the Promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner or runner-up. 16. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any disappointment incurred or suffered as a result of entry into the Competition. 17. Details of the Winning Prize and Runner-up Prize winners’ names and locations will be available between Friday 5 September 2014 and Friday 26 September 2014 by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to adidas UK, Customer Care, PO Box 1512, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 3YB. 18. The Promoters will liaise with the Winning Prize winner and relevant Runner-up Prize winners regarding redemption of tickets and will also liaise with the Winning Prize winner regarding travel and accommodation details. 19. All prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be given. 20. By entering the Competition, you agree that if you are chosen as a prize winner you will allow the Promoters to use your name, home town, photograph, video, voice recording and general location for publicity, news and promotional purposes in any and all media during this and any future promotions or advertising. 21. The Promoters shall not be responsible or liable for any expenses incurred by the winners and/or their guests over and above the Winning Prize and Runner-up Prizes offered above (including, without limitation, travel expenses, insurance, food or drink). 22. The Promoters reserves the right to change, alter or withdraw the Competition at any time. 23. By entering the Competition, the Winning Prize and Runner-up Prize winners and/or their guests agree not to sell, offer to sell or use their prizes for any commercial or promotional purpose (including placing their prizes on an internet auction site). 24. The Competition winner, Runner-up Prize winners and their guests participate in and use their prizes at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoters shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership and/or use of any Competition prize. 25. By entering the competition the Winning Prize and Runner-up Prize winners agree and agree to procure (where applicable) that their guests shall act responsibly at all times during use of the prize. 26. The Promoters will use the information which you provide in your entry form or which they obtain from our dealings with you, to administer the Competition. By providing such information, you consent to its use for these purposes. 27. If any of these terms and conditions are found by a competent court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable, that term or condition shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect. 28. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
