Mens Endorphin Speed 4 WH

This is my first time purchasing the endorphin speed. Typically run at least 50mi a week, and have been a huge fan of endorphin pro 2 ,3, 4. However, I rarely get more than 350miles out of each endorphin pro before the midsole of the shoe separates from the upper knit at the arch. While I don't feel as much pop from the speed, I can instantly tell the upper of the shoe is not going to have this problem as it is substantially more durable than the pro. The feel of speed is a little bit slower but I think it will hold up well as a trainer that takes on the bulk of my mileage so that I can save the pros for tempo runs and races

The best daily trainer I've ever ran in. It's so light and snappy. It makes running effortless. It shines in faster paces, but is still comfortable and stable at slower paces as well. I usually get some joint issues going longer distances, but the foam soaks up all of the shock while still feeling firm and responsive. On top of that, it seems to be very durable. It's overall an incredible shoe.

First ever pair of sauconys and have never felt so good on my runs.

I feel like I can do anything in these shoes. I did my entire marathon training block in them and absolutely made me a saucony fan.

I don't love these as much as Speed 3. The sole feels stiffer or "harder," even after break in, and also compared to the Endorphin Pro, which I do love. But I like them enough to keep them in my rotation. I wanted a daily trainer so I don't need to use the Pro, with its carbon plate, for every run. Also, I ordered the "Olivine" color, which looked good on the website but is a little strange in actuality. It's fine, just not quite how I expected it.

Great feel and performance. Have the amount of heel support I expected and still remain very light.

250 treadmill kilometers with these shoes and there's no looking back. They're like a chameleon in a few ways. First of all, they're light weight and becomes an extension of your foot without you noticing. Secondly, the upper hugs - in the best way possible - my feet, once again, I forget that I'm wearing them. Thirdly, from my experience they're good for warm-ups, 5kms, or half marathon distances. I'll be buying another pair soon.

So far, I am enjoying my Endorphin Speed 4 shoes. I use them strictly for walking - about 6 miles per day, and they are holding up well. Light and comfortable shoe, nice looking. Love the support!

Excellent threshold/ tempo running shoe. I use these solely on faster efforts, and they are fantastic at picking up the pace.

After two pairs of Speed 3s in the past, snagged a Speed 4 Over 700 kms and still a workhorse of a shoe. Speed 3s midsole wasn't best after wear and tear but Saucony has fixed this in the 4s with more foam. Excellent all round shoes and will keep happily logging miles on all the endorphins!

Great all around shoe! Does what I need it to do whether on long runs or faster runs. Love feeling the ground with my forefoot for the push off.

I had the speed 3 and loved them so I was really hoping to see more of the same. Straight out of the box they were not as responsive as the 3's but after some wearing in (30km) I am happy to report that they are certainly on par with the speed 3's. For awareness they fit a little small on the lateral toe box compared to the 3's. Love the navy shoe design with the Fluoro tongue. Another solid, all distance shoe from saucony.

Toe box could be wider and the tread could last longer

Love the comfort of these shows. My third pair. That said........ the first two pairs fell apart. The tread came off which was really surprising since I hadn't used them that long......... I hope this pair lasts. If it weren't for the comfort, I would not buy again because of durability vs. cost. Not good.

Just ran my first marathon in these at Disney. I really loved the first gen speeds, so I chose these, hoping I would love them just as much as the first model. When I wore them for my first long run, about 16 miles, they seemed like a completely different shoe compared to gen 1 speeds. While they were supportive and provided good energy return, my feet were just in pain by the end of that run. Slightly disappointed, but I'm glad I gave them another try. After about 25-30 miles in the shoe, they felt much better and I was finally comfortable making this my marathon shoe. They held up during the marathon, finished it in 4:02. If I could change anything about these, it would be the toe box. I've got wide feet and by the end of that marathon my toes were pretty sore, I think a wider toe box would have relieved some of that pain! All in all, I really enjoyed these, I even prefer them over the endorphin pro 1's and 2's. Looking forward to continue wearing shoes from the endorphin line, very fun to run in!

Comfortable, fit well, good cushioning, light weight, sufficient snap. I've run in speed 2s, 3s +4ths before..

I've been running with the shoe for about 100 miles by now, and I somehow got used to it. However I like the Saucony Ride a little better. The Endorphin Speed 4 feels maybe a little more cushioned than the Ride but therefore a little more "indirect" on the road.
Because of the soft foam on the heel guide, it's sometimes a little harder to slide effortless into the shoe, since the foam folds Inside. Then I have to pull it out again with my fingers or have to start over getting into the shoe.
I also have the feeling that the durability of the profile under the heel might wear down pretty fast. No big deal though since I get me new shoes after 400-500 miles anyway.

It's been a while since I tried other brands, and today I ran for the first time with my Sauconys. I did a 20-minute warm-up, followed by 5 x 1-mile repeats with 2 minutes of rest, and finished with a 10-minute cooldown.

While my friends were rocking carbon-plated shoes, I went with the Endorphin Speed. I felt like I had to push myself harder to keep up with them, whereas with the Nike Alphafly 3, I feel more like I'm "floating," if you know what I mean.

That said, I didn't mind the extra effort-I liked them and will definitely keep adding more miles with these!

I bought these a few months ago looking for a good speed trainer to do my workouts in and now I have 270 miles in them and they are still holding up pretty well. I expect to get about 350 miles out of them. The nylon plate definitely helps them have a very responsive feel. They are great for interval workouts, long runs, and progressive runs. I have even used them for some daily runs. Also, they fit true to size and I found them very comfortable. These are well worth the money, especially if you can get them on a discount. As someone who has had some pretty extensive foot surgeries but still wants to run and be active, these shoes are the perfect answer! Every step is cushioned, and the shoes breathe and perform exactly like I would want a running shoe to do!

I bought these shoes form my local running shoe store to replace my daily trainers. Must say that I love the feel underfoot. I have over a 100kms in 3 weeks and after the initial break in which took around 50kms, the midsole came to life! The midsole had a firmer feel, isn't too mushy or soft and is very responsive.
It's a perfect shoe for someone looking for a firmer pair of shoes to run their daily miles. One thing to note is that the rocker on the shoe promotes faster runs and all in comfort. I've done run multiple runs from slow paces to 10k paces, and I must say the sweet spot is somewhere at the half marathon to a marathon pace.
I'd definitely buy another pair as I like my shoes to bit on the firmer and bouncier end.

I bought this pair for speed training and HIIT. So far it's perfect. The softness is so good that I'm considering also using for long slow distance.
Will see wear and tear in 100 miles.
Minor cons: the shoes smell chemicals for days so I'm wondering if products used are nocive or not ... No other brand has that smell. Would like to get an upfate from Saucony about it.

I bought these shoes in October and have ran about 225km in them. These have proven to be a shoe that gets better with every wear. I have predominantly wore them on ice and snow and have found the grip to be excellent, the foam stays soft and comfortable even in -30 celcius temperatures. They have been fantastic for short runs (30 minutes) and longer runs (120 minutes). They are best for higher tempo runs but comfortable and stable enough as a daily trainer.

light and bouncy. High energy return. Perfect for everyday training.

This shoe can go slow or fast, long or short. for me it has been the best shoe I have worn and I have worn out four pairs. Also very durable (700-900 miles on each pair) if you like light, fast and cushioned these shoes are tough to beat. The only downside is that they aren't great for Minnesota winters.

I bought these a few months ago and really enjoy them. I tried previous saucony shoes and returned them due to poor fit. The endorphin speed fits really nice, light, breathable, and doesn't rub. I usually run 3-4 miles around 3 times a week and a long run 6-8 miles. These do it for speed workouts at the track or a longer , slower pace. Even used them on the treadmill a few times and worked well.

I bought the Endorphin Speed 4 for my "up tempo runs". My first couple runs in them felt much different and stiffer than what I was use to. After my third run in them, they felt great. I rotate these shoes with the Hoka Arahi 6's (base runs), and Nike Invincible (long and recovery runs). For me personally, I could see why some might complain about the stiffness or tight toe box, however for someone who was looking for a more responsive shoe, narrow foot, and mild pronation, this shoe works perfect for my 10k and under runs.

Soft and fast, very confortable.

Since starting wearing those, I have conquered many PRs, not ending up feeling smashed

I had bought these to run with my mom and these shoes are amazing they are very light weight, super comfortable and to top it of with the plate propelling you forward I will not gonna day with out these

This is my first pair of Sauconies, therefore my first in the endorphin series, as well as my first plated shoe. I use these for my speed workouts and 5k/10k races.

At first glance, the upper is really nice and breathable. The elasticity in the laces/mesh make for an easy to get into shoe that stays comfortably snug for all my runs. I was a little taken aback at the foam, which seems like glorified styrofoam (but definitely is not!).

On the run, the shoe wants to go forward. That being said, doing U-turns or sharp turns take some getting used to. The ride is nice and comfortable, my feet feel pretty good after 7 or so miles.

On a rainy day, I feel less confident wearing these. I personally don't care about my feet getting wet or any of that. The grip itself seems like it could be better. In the Tampa area we have paved running paths all over, and these generally grip well for most of the run. If I am coming up to a crosswalk or an area where they have painted markings on the ground, the grip disappears and it is easy to lose your footing if you're not careful. So I would definitely say to choose another shoe for wet conditions.

Overall I really like the speed 4, and plan to get another pair when these ones wear out.

On a sidenote, the shipping is terrible. FedEx delivered my first pair to the wrong place entirely. Which as annoying as that was, it gave Saucony a chance to show their great customer service in getting me a refund so I could order a second pair. That pair was delivered to my neighbor instead of me so I still got them, but Saucony should definitely consider switching to using a shipping service with more reliability.

I bought my endorphin speed 4 a month ago to help me with my half marathon training. I have really in joyed using them as a trainer shoe.I will definitely be buying another pair after 400 miles.

I love these shoes. I originally had the Endorphin Speed 2's but just upgraded to the 4's and they are even better. They are great all-arounder shoes. My pace is consistently faster for the same perceived effort when I wear these shoes compared to other shoes.

I bought these with the intent they would be my first long distance shoe for my first marathon. Im currently at about 100 miles since purchase, and here's what I've found out.

It took about 6ish miles to break in and become more comfortable.

I use injinji toe socks and have slightly wider feet. For the 10.5 US size the toe box gives a slight hug but not pinching or uncomfortable. I might consider going up half a size when I rebuy, but I'm not mad about the snug fit.

They handle heat build up well, and have a nice bounce. For the 100 miles I've run I've only seen a little wear on the outside back tread, but that's also because of my runstyle/gate

My thoughts while on a 16 mile run: " these shoes will get you across the finish line in terms of comfort if youre just pacing yourself, but they really kick in & feel the best when you are pushing your run. I can feel the bounce back and energy return when i push it" Which makes sense because they are the endorphin "speed" not the "pro" lol

I bought these a month ago and have 100+ miles on them, they are already wearing a lot on the bottoms.

Man what can I say about these shoes. Other then they are awsome. Ran my very first marathon in my speed 4. Loved them so much. Ran it in 3:45 so not fast but not slow . It performed great. Was surprised that at the end my feet did not hurt . Love them I'll buy more fore sure

A bit tight around the toe box. Should come in wider sizes. Weight is light, good structure.

Bought a week ago to replace my Speed 3. These were love at first step. Such a killer fit and honestly a great shoe to log the fast and recovery miles.

I had the 3 and didn't think it could get better but this fourth iteration is amazing! Best comfort and feel. My feet love this shoe!

I've bought these shoes to replace my endorphin speed 2 and they've been amazing. I bought them for marathon training and to run long distance. So far they are extremely comfortable at fast and moderate pace. Also they support my foot comfortably during my long runs. Also they didn't require anytime to break them in.

I'm on my third pair and these shoes are incredible. Big fan of the 2's, did not like the 3's since they weren't as snappy, but I can do any run with these. Easy, speed, long progression, whatever is needed. Probably the best shoe I've ever had.

The ONLY qualm I have is I wish there were better color options. I like the green, but I like the female purple iterations. The male options are a little lackluster, hoping for new additions in the future.

Decent training shoe. Lots of stability and toe room, a very slippery-laced shoe that is hard to tie tight. Traction on loose cinder not as good as some competitors. Verdict is still out on how long lasting the show will be.
