The GEL-VENTURE 11 WATERPROOF shoe is designed for wet weather excursions. Its waterproof upper helps block out water. The midsole has been modified with AMPLIFOAM cushioning and a higher stack height. When combined with the rearfoot GEL technology, these features help create a softer and more comfortable feel underfoot.​ Meanwhile, the outsole features an advanced traction pattern that's functional for the road and trail surfaces.

Need a pair of trail running shoes in a pinch
Good trail running shoes. They have great traction, there light weight, and they offer good support.

Awesome Venture-11 Running Shoes
One of the best Asics Running Shoes that I've owned.
We have been Asics Fans for more than 12 years (ever since my kids were in their School Cross-Country Running Team). Asics keep giving us "pleasant surprises" all the time!

So comfortable, fits well (right to the size) with nice cushioning comfort.

I love this pair of shoes. Last month, I ordered another pair of running shoes for my daughter.

We'll keep loving Asics... keep buying more & more shoes... and keep recommending them to all our family & friends!

Bad fit
Usually asics size 13 fits perfectly. These were way too tight. Returned.

Gel-Venture 11 Waterproof
More comfortable than the previous version due to the foam upgrade. It also seems roomier. I'm glad I went with this waterproof version. I've already accidentally spilled water on top them, but none of it broke through to get me wet. Traction is good for the smooth tile in the building where I work, but also for the grass in my yard. Very versatile. Good job, Asics!
