The shirts are perfect for sun protection for swimming pool or beach. You should order one size larger than your normal size. The shirt stays in place perfectly while diving or jumping, even off the high board.

Needed a pair of compression long sleeve to wear under work shirt and body armor. Being that I work on my feet for 8+ hours I don’t over heat and it fits very well.

I will say though the most disappointing thing was before I even put it on on one of the arms where the gray stitching is was bunched up where it split and stretched and I’m sure after I wash it will grow and I will have a hole there.

Got today, wore today under gold shirt. 85 degrees 75% humidity. Cool as a cucumber!

I'm typically a big fan of AU compression tops, but the sleeves on this one are way too long. There is literally so much material and nowhere for it to go. Very disappointed in the top.

I'm a cyclist who hates to put sun screen on my arms or "arm cooler sleeves" as they tend to not fit well. I also wanted some extra sun protection on my back as cycling jerseys tend to be rather thin. Hence was looking for a very tight, white, sweat wicking base layer. This HeatGear Armour Long Sleeve Compression Shirt is the best I found to suit my needs. Its a shame no cycling company thought or did this before.

The only downside is the sleeves are way too long. If your hands go down to your knees while standing then the sleeves are probably going to fit you well. I ordered many (6 total) and there is some sleeve length inconsistency as well. I brought mine to the tailor to have the sleeves shortened to correct length.

Another suggestion, it would be very nice to have this HeatGear Armour Long Sleeve Compression Shirt entirely made out of the mesh material that is used under the armpits. That would make it the perfect cycling base layer.

Bought my first compression shirt over 15 years ago... probably when they first came out. It’s lasted me this long, sadly I finally had to look for a new one. Never been a fan of brands, but Under Armour definitely makes long lasting clothing and great quality. Picked up 2 shirts this time, hoping it will be another great run with these!

High quality fabric and ultimate stretch makes for a great workout every time. The lightweight nature of this garment keeps unnecessary weight out of the picture while its durability allows you to move in any direction without feeling restricted. Would highly recommend this product to those looking for top quality and minimal weight in warm to hot environments.

There’s no better gear for training than UA. Whether biking or most other sports UA motivates me to train harder.

This shirt is exactly what I wanted it fits perfectly and very comfortable.

Played ice hockey in them. Felt comfortable. A little tight around the abs. Otherwise very happy with purchase thus far.

This firs well. Expect the sleeves to be shorter but they are fine. Not too warm for cardio. Good for climbing in cold weather.

Comparing this shirt to previous versions, it doesn't match up. You need to order two sizes smaller than your normal shirt size to get the true compression of the old heat gear shirt. The stitching down the sleeves is bothersome. And it doesn't do as good of a job wicking sweat as the version of this shirt from five years ago and fifteen years ago (I still have that shirt).

The cooling power of this shirt is amazing, and it's really comfortable. However, the sleeves are a little too long and the bottom of the shirt is as well. I also would have liked to be able to purchase an XS on the website instead of on amazon because I didn't think there might be a smaller size. Anyways, during activity it moves up a lot and it'd be more comfortable if it didn't.

All in all, it's a pretty great shirt, I really enjoy wearing it. It's just a hassle to bunch it up at the bottom because it's too long and constantly having to pull it back down is annoying.

Im a big guy. I didn't think these products would fit. This was actually a little big for me. I was so surprised they actually make clothes that fit me.

I already had a black version of this but for the summer I wanted white. Works even better than advertised. While cycling in hot weather it most definetly keeps you cool.

I love the short sleeve version; it fits great. However, this shirt has sleeves that are too long. I am 168cm, 100cm chest and 80cm waist. The torso fits just like the size chart says it should. But the sleeves, they are easily 8+cm too long. THe sleeves go all the way to my knuckles.

My sons both play baseball, so we use Under Armour heat gear shirts a LOT. Generally, they have loved them. HOWEVER, the fact that the tall sizes only start in XL is a problem. My son who is 6'5" could use a Tall sized shirt, but in no way would an XL fit him, he is too slender. So, then he is stuck with a shirt that rides up because it is too short in the body.

Bought specifically for a mud run. I have long arms and was excited to find out that the sleeve length on this shirt was more than enough. Kept me feeling cool during runs, protected against the sun, and made clean-up easy at the end.

i got this shirt a few weeks ago, and it's fantastic! it is the perfect compression shirt and fits in the best ways. it pairs well with the 9" compression shorts for a full compression feel. highly recommend!

one of the reviews was right the sleeves are about 3 inches too long and uncomfortable because of that.

I ordered the short sleeve version of this compression shirt in the Steeltown Gold color but I returned it because it fit too snug. I know its supposed to fit tight, but it was too tight. When I tried to order a larger size, I am no longer seeing it on your website. Will you be getting any more in stock? I am only interested in the Steeltown Gold color compression shirt (Short Sleeve).

I like how the shirt keeps you cool. But its very unsatisfying to wear. It feels itchy all day. Would appreciate a better quality stitch for the price I paid for the product.

Bought 2 white, long sleeve shirts. Medium size.

I bought these specifically for a 6 day bicycle tour of Colorado in June.

Pros: Kept me cool on 5 to 6 hr bike rides while the sun was beating down on me for most of the day. Wide open prairies, and high above tree line in the mountains. Did not get sunburned. I am Scandinavian. 6',2" blond hair and blue eyes. I don't get along to well with the sun.

I thought this would be better than wearing a short sleeve shirt and applying sunscreen multiple time in the course of the ride.

I do a lot of road cycling so my build up top may be leaner than some. I went with a medium size and it fit well.

Con: None.

In hind sight I shouldn't have gotten white. I thought that white would attract the least amount of sunlight, which may be true, but after a full week of riding my bicycle a total of 450 miles, these shirts look disgusting. Yes I did wash them in a washing machine during ride week. Ill just get a color that may hide dirt and grime and sweat stains better next time.

I'm baffled as to whether or not I got an incorrectly made shirt or not, but I just bought this after wearing a ColdGear compression shirt almost everyday this winter and loving it. I received this in the mail and somehow, buying the same size as I bought for the ColdGear, the sleeves are about three inches longer. As a result they are far too long for the shirt to fit right. My ColdGear shirt fits perfectly so I don't have any idea what has happened here. It's so unfortunate because I can tell that I would love the shirt if only it would fit correctly. I have already washed and dried it multiple times so that shouldn't be a factor. I submitted a picture with my review showing how much longer the sleeves are even though both shirts are size small, which means bunching the sleeves up on my arms or in my armpits so they don't cover my hands which is not only uncomfortable but totally defeats the purpose of what is supposed to be a tight fitting shirt. Buyer beware.

I have UA gear that's 5+ years old and has been worn 10x as much as these with no odor issues. I have 5 of these and they all hold that sweaty gym odor. Very disappointed in them.

This shirt is perfect for paddling Colorado whitewater in the Summer months. I needed a shirt with just the right amount of insulation and sleeves for sun protection, this shirt holds it's shape when soaking wet and drys quickly. Quality construction and materials, love it!

The item runs well and fit me good. You can wear it when you work out which will make you feeling good and quick dry. However, the alar part of the sleeve seems a little bit. Maybe I need to get used to that.

Compared to the prior heat gear long sleeve the stitching is reinforced, but terribly itchy. The sleeves (on the medium, non-tall version) have been lengthened excessively, to the point where it can completely hide my hand. Uncomfortable and ill-fitting, I regret purchasing before trying it on!

Purchased as a base layer for baseball. Northern Indiana weather is a little chilly for baseball in March and April. This is a great weight for most days and the compression fit moves with you without restricting motion.

I bought this for layering while working out. It is incredibly comfortable and does an excellent job of wicking away moisture for intense workouts. Will be buying several more.

Over a 14-month period I lost 102 pounds. I have loose skin. I work out but nothing is going to get rid of the skin but surgery. These compression undershirts are my go-to. Stops the jiggling and wiggling and holds my belly in when I'm doing cross-fit. I even where them under my work shirts in the office. I highly recommend these for compression and comfort!

Fine undershirt... training, playing etc. I always buy a size up in UA fitted and compression gear.

I love Under Armour compression shirts. I have quite a few short sleeves and few tanks. This is my first long sleeve Heatgear (I have a few Coldgear). I love it. It hugs my body. It really shows off my pecs, biceps and triceps because it contours to them. I got quite a few looks at the gym today. Definitely comfortable and great for muscle recovery after working out hard. Highly recommend!

The shirt is warm as long as there is no wind. The wind goes right through it. I wear a Large in all my UA gear, but I would need at least an XL for this shirt.

So I have had this shirt for 6 weeks and wear it once a week to Jiu Jitsu and the stitching is coming undone. I am guessing it isn't built for this type of wear. It would be perfect for any other type of sport but save your money if you plan on using it for MMA type sports.

This was the first compression shirt I ever bought. I still wear this all the time when I go to the gym. It's comfortable and it comes in a lot of cool designs. I wish they would restock some more of the colors like the 004 Black for I can purchase more. Overall good product!

Thank you UnderArmour for offering tall sizes!! I'm 6'4" tall and finding shirts that fit is quite the challenge. I've purchased many UA products over the past few months and am officially obsessed! I've bought many of the short sleeves of the heat gear collection prior to buying these. The regular sizes fit well, but they do tend to ride up a bit. Had I known UA offered tall sizes, I would go back and re-buy them! Oh well. But the tall versions are perfect for me. The sleeves run a little past my wrists when fully stretched, but comfortable and functional nonetheless. Unfortunately, not all colors or the really cool printed shirts are available in tall sizes. Otherwise, I would buy them all for sure. Shipping is fast, usually 3 or 4 business days, and I live all the way in New Mexico! Excellent work guys!!

I love the pattern of this compression. But I found the fit of UA compression is kind of weird. I am 6' tall, weight 177lb, chest 41'', and waist 32''. I first ordered size L. It fits well around the chest and sleeves are not good. But the clothes length are way too short compared to all other brand that I've had. It's too short. And when you exercise, it rolls up. Really annoying. Then I ordered XL, which is definitely a bit loose around the chest. Now the clothes length is ok but still a little bit shorter than what I expected it to be.

I wear this shirt any time I want a long sleeve, comfortable shirt. It fits like a glove and feels amazing on your skin. I get compliments on the fit of it whenever I wear it somewhere. I will continue to purchase compression fit shirts, tank top, short sleeve, and long sleeve as long as UA continues to manufacture these great quality items.

Love this, have multiple colors. Very comfortable. Most importantly I don't get over heated. I am very hot blooded and get overheated very easy. I never wear long sleeve shirts are sweaters, but I can wear these under a shirt and be ok. Only complaint is that the sleeves are too long!! I realize that I am a female and these are for males but I have incredible long arms. I am shorter than others around me but I can reach more things than they can. Overall happy. I purchases Heat Gear compression leggings and a Heat Gear long sleeve shirt to keep warm when I play golf. We tee of at sunrise so its usually in the 40s with a light breeze and some moisture in the air so it feels pretty brisk outside. I thought this product was like long underwear. I was wrong. I wore them under golf pants and under a golf shirt and a lightweight jacket. I froze my rear off! I have to admit, I find this product confusing. I don't know when I would ever put on tight fitting leggings and a long sleeve shirt to stay cool? loose fitting shorts and a tee shirt seem more appropriate. I'm really not sure what to do with these at this point. Fix and compression is good, they don't bind or inhibit motion e.g., swinging the golf club. The compression, in itself, didn't seem to keep me warm. Not sure how that would work anyway.

I bought this shirt for rugby and overall training. A component of my rugby training was cold weather morning training. This shirt worked perfectly for keeping me warm. And during the heat of the summer, it wicks sweat away and ventilates really well. This was my first under armour purchase and it has given me a good opinion of the company. Definitely recommend

It's been a few years since I bought a new compression shirt, and with my ball team getting new uniforms, an update was needed. My order arrived within a week and I've been very impressed so far. It has a nice, tight fit that forms to the body and stays lightweight throughout the game. I put in a subsequent order for a bunch of my teammates and it also arrived within a week.

I read that this shirt is supposed to be snug. But snug is an understatement. My size medium son had to purchase XXL. It's crazy that we had to buy a shirt 3 sizes up just so he could breathe. The styling is nice, and the material feels great. But do not buy your normal size. Buy 1, 2 or even 3 sizes up if you're a fan of breathing.
