6"3 290lbs size chart was right, but going to try XXL. It has all the support I was looking for. Use is for running, long distance walking and biking.

These shorts fit really well and are really comfortable. The only thing that could make these better is if it had a cell phone pocket. I don't like running with my cell phone in my shorts or with a band. If they had like a cell phone pocket/slot they'd be perfect.

Cannot replace UA's Coreshort Pro compression shorts, which we purchased 3 years ago and are still performing great today. Husband is 6'4", 118 lbs, waist 34. He wears M because he wanted tighter compression, but does fit size L, too. Still, we returned this. Also based on the construction of shorts, I'm pretty sure the thin material will not hold up past 6 months (he plays sports 3-5x a week).

Great for runs and work outs at the gym. They provide tons of support but are not constricting. Some reviews say they felt their private parts were smashed but I have never felt that with these Compression shorts are supposed to provide lots of support and these do without constricting you private area. These have become my go to compression shorts. Great job with these Under Armour !

These fit fantastic throughout the butt and thighs and are made of a decent breathable material, however my big complaint comes to the design of the crouch area. As long as I can remember, Under Armour has always made their compression shorts with a flat panel in the crouch as if a man has no package. Literally looks and feels like they're designed for a woman. I am slightly on the larger side, so it my not be as bad if you're a regular Joe, but even on that note, it literally has zero modification to support your junk comfortably. It just smashes your package down and is quite uncomfortable. My message to UA, if you read this, please consider adding extra fabric to the crouch section of your briefs. There's a reason why all your competitors do it. If you did this I think you'd have one of the best most affordable compression shorts on the market.

I buy these for the gym but also use them as regular underwear. Great fit! Excellent quality! Thanks UA.

Snug, supportive and don’t move one bit. I use these under my run shorts and not only do they prevent chaffing but also retain most of the sweat so my shorts don’t stick to me. I’ve used these twice now and they are a recommended piece to all who want more support and no chaffing! Get em!

I wear a lot of UA gear and have purchased their underwear for several years. This is the worst example of the UA brand. These underwear roll up and bunch within minutes of putting them on. What happened to the great versions you used to sell?

Brought these compression shorts but returned them soon. The fabric used is good and the fit and design in poor. They provide no support in the groin area to keep your package in place when exercising (like some other users have also mentioned). These are just a fancy version of boxer shorts. Despite the elastic nature of the fabric there was loose space on the groin area that gives space for your junk to move here and there. Which is not what you expect from a "compression" shorts.

I purchased a mid and a long in 2016 and they are fading, so I bought another mid this year. They are comfortable to wear, as they do not ride up or bunch, when I ride the bicycle. I find this years softer feeling than the previous year. I enjoy them.

I have bought UA men’s compression shorts for years for work and for when I played soccer because I liked the men’s length and durability better then the woman’s. They used to be great and lasted for ever but now although very comfortable that mesh was destroyed in no time. It just falls apart, I had holes within the first week. I would expect that from an off brand not UA.

It’s been a few years since I bought UA compression shorts but I can definitely notice an improvement in the new ones. The material feels durable and more comfortable. The only downsides I would say is the annoying tag, and, when I bought these in the store I did not notice any indication of them being the shorter shorts (I prefer the 9-in. but had no way of knowing), but these will have to do for now.

I use these for a variety of workouts. They are comfortable and do the job. I prefer the 9” length though and wish the Royal blue was offered in 9”.

I have received and wore briefly a pair of 1289566 - 001 LG compression shorts. I'm not sure if the shorts were mislabeled or the package was mislabeled; but the length of the leg from the crotch might measure 6 1/2" and the length from the top of the waist band is approximately 14". I was assured by your web-site that the length of the leg was 8". I also find that the seam on the rear of the shorts irritates the "butt" by rubbing on the skin.

These are my go to for compression shorts. Great fit and comfortable. Legs are the right length so there's no thigh rubbing.

The description or “DNA” says these are primarily nylon with polyester. The tag in the short says +90 percent polyester. False advertising ? These run bigger and fit better, inseam and rise especially, than say the comparable swoosh bran product.

Bought these last month. I love the compression on my thighs. I recommend getting a cool color to show off. Amazing job UA boys!

Fits amazing, and perfect length. Very thin material feels like you're wearing nothing. Sizing runs a bit small but are very stretchy.

Love these. They aren't as tight as traditional compression shorts, but I still really like them. They just feel good on.

My only real complaint is the waistband. I hate the new trend of extra wide waistbands.

I bought a couple of them; love them for soccer and high intensity workouts. I will definitely will be buying more. One thing that would push the comfort to max is the waistband should be narrower.

The fit and amount of compression is very good. While the material is sufficiently opaque to wear them without anything over top, the fabric is quite thin. The section of material in the middle (crotch) is a slightly different shade - calling "attention" to this area - so you might want to limit these to wearing at the gym. They are very comfortable for working out - providing support where its wanted but also freedom of movement.

I brought these and I used them immediately. I'm overweight but these fit perfectly. I am a size 40 waist and the extra large was the right choice. I hike about 2-3 times per week. While hiking I didn't notice any discomfort at all. Excellent choice. To all those who are complaining about the extra large tag.... it says to tare it off! One pull and gone. Simple.

The fitting came as it said would fit me. I ordered two large pairs and they both fit me just right. They provided the right amount of compression while allowing to move in whichever way I desired at any intensity while ensuring the right amount of comfort. The material on the shorts are also very soft but durable and breathes the air through which leaves the groin area cool.

Not as high compression as under armour's earliest models from around 2012 but still good quality. It is exceedingly better than their last models since that time. Has high breathability and is available in different lengths (a very nice feature).

I enjoy wearing these mid-size compression shorts. Not too long, not too short. Just right. I'm a big dude, 6'3", 244#'s and ordered XXL I jog/walk 5K daily and this product gives me the support I needed without rolling down around the waist or pinching in the crotch. They indeed fit like compression shorts but not like UA underwear. I can see obtaining this product in the future..

Bought these to wear for morning workouts and have no regrets -- great fit and good durability after three months of wear.

The best part about these shorts for me is that UA quickly refunded my money after I returned them. I didn't have to get far from walking around in them to know they weren't going to work for me. Why? I decided to give them a chance & wear them to the gym. They provide little to no support & most annoying, they slide up your legs. Constant adjustment which means there's no compression in these compression shorts. I should have known better. In the past, the UA compression shorts I purchased did the same thing. They went into the garbage. Once again, thanks to UA for allowing me to return the product. Not for me.

I bought these for my partner, he says they are very comfortable but there isn't really any compression. He will still wear them under his uniform and to work out in and we may purchase more as underwear when working out as these are more comfortable than the UA under wear for that. He says they kept him cooler.

Doing a FIT class and cross fit class.. 5 nights a week! I'm an avid under armour guy with the boxer briefs so needed something for workout. Tried these out.. 5th night in and I love them. Comfortable. Feel good on and move with all the squats and lifts. Great addition to my under armour line up! Good job with these

These are as comfortable as I would think a compression short can be. I appreciate that there is no center seam in the pouch area and the wider waistband keeps the shorts in place. Have not had issues with them riding up or down when working out or running intervals. I like the light, soft, stretchy and breathable fabric. Already bought a second pair.

These new compression shorts are a great upgrade from previous versions. UA seams to have sorted out their sizing issues with these. I'm normal an XL and and XL fits perfect. Not too tight and not too loose. The material is very soft and stretchy. You can't go wrong with these.

I had not bought Under Armour compression shorts in awhile because I did not like the newer styles. I saw these online as new arrivals and decided to give them a try. So happy I did. They do not feel cheap like the other versions and provided great compression. The material is very comfortable and provides compresion in all the right places. Kept me cool on a long run and just ordered some more. I highly recommend these and guarantee you will not be upset. Best compression shorts in a long time.
