Nike Mens Pegasus Turbo

Introducing the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2, featuring a revamped featherlight upper and innovative foam designed for long distance training. The lofted mesh and synthetic upper is lighter than its predecessor, and a translucent material for added breathability. A partial inner sleeve from toe to midfoot, combined with a more traditional shape from midfoot to heel is designed to help you train faster for longer. The rubber outsole absorbs impact for greater traction. Designed with an angled heel collar that tapers away from the foot for greater comfort around your ankle.

Style code: AT2863-001

  • Exaggerated Swoosh design extends over the midsole as an emblem of Nike ZoomX

Best running shoes!
I previously wore Vomero, however the changes Nike made to 14 - didn't suit me. Was advised to try the Pegasus Turbo 2 - fantastic shoe. Much better, in my view, to the Vomero - comfortable, lightweight but supportive and helped deliver 10k, half marathon and marathon PBs.

One of the best I’ve owned
This is my 4th pair of turbo’s, I’ve had two of the originals and now I’m on my second pair of turbo 2’s, they can cope with anything... speed work, longer runs.. Ive run anything between 5 and 26 miles in these shoes and they’ve never failed me. They are and will continue to be my go too! I change my shoes every 600 miles and they last that long without any visible issues.

Decent shoe but for me it’s the Turbo 1’s!
I had the Turbo 1’s which I loved. I did not have any issues with longevity and put 875 km’s through them. I just thought they were great so kept on going back to them. I then bought the Turbo 2’s. I’ve put about 120 km’s through them and so far no issues. What I would say is that for me, Nike has made these into a race shoe. They have really stripped back the padding and made them lighter, although less comfy. However, in my opinion, they are not as good as the Vaporfly range for races and not as good a work horse training shoe as the Turbo 1’s with all their padding. So, although a really decent shoe, its hard to find a place for them. The grip on the Vaporfly range is really only for road so I tend to use these on gravel tracks and things like that. In all honesty though, I would sacrifice the weight saving found in the Turbo 2’s and have another pair of the Turbo 1’s! I found that they also run a little bit bit vs the Turbo 1’s. I would consider a half size down. Think it’s probably the same size but with very minimal internal padding so feels larger.
