Super comfy!

Love the color
Overall I love the color and fit of the shoe, but after lots of use, the shoe seems to be loser. I have been using these for work daily and I am on my feet 8-12 hours a day. They are definitely getting a lot of use and on average 18K steps a day. I am happy with the shoe, just wish it kept its form.

Good to be back
I had taken a break from Asics. My favorite shoe the GT2000 had just gotten too expensive. All of my Asics runners' soles were wearing out way to quickly and not worth $100+ for only a few months of casual use. I found the GT1000s comfortable and somewhat affordable but also short lived. I tried other brands of stability runners and I had knee problems or calf pain. Since these were on sale, I gave them a try. They look wildly different from my previous 1000s, not sure how they can call them the same model. The big puffy sole that is trendy right now is not always right for every one. The rubber tread is so thin, I bet these will be bald in no time too! BUT, I hopped on the treadmill for a light jog, with zero pain for the first time in months! These are cushiony without being too squishy, supportive without being too firm, comfy because it has a nice plush tongue, unlike other asics models. I hope they last a reasonable amount of time.

If you do the math that's 30+ years. Just sayin'.
Run, dont walk! Buy these shoes. I've been wearing the GT1000's ASICS since high school …they are stable and just enough cushion to take the impact of 20+ years of running (I started running after high school, but I still wore them) - including 5 marathons and many other miles and races.
