ASICS has managed to ruin one of the best running shoes out there. The fit is TTS. What will absolutely it work is the design of the tongue. It's thinner and has an idiotic loop at the top of it. For what? No reason I can find. It instantly starting rubbing the front of my ankle, and I knew it would end up being super irritating. There is no way I could actually run in these. Such a dumb thing to add. Why do companies not stick to the basics that work? Beautiful color. Ok fit. Ridiculous design. Returning.

Love these shoes. Very lightweight. I love the colors. I got the ones with the salmon pink and pale green design. I've gotten many compliments.
I do wish the soles were black instead of white, I painted mine with black leather paint and they look much nicer.
I also wish it had a wide toe box option, and a thicker tongue. A lower sole height option would be great too.
Fun shoes overall, I am really enjoying them.

I love that I can put these shoes on and they are comfortable from step one! My only issue is that the shoe laces come untied frequently which causes me to stop and retie along my walks or runs. Not fun! I have not had this issue with previous pairs (GT-2000 12). Annoying.

These shoes are very comfortable! I run/ walk on a daily basis and I like these shoes for both.

I thought this was the same shoe I bought previously but I see differences. I like the feel. They're snug but not a bad fit. The sole is the same. The feature I don't like is the tongue, no padding, just a thin piece of fabric. I can't imagine that would be comfortable for a long day. I don't regret buying them but for this reason I would rather have a pair with more padding under the laces.

You can't go wrong with this shoe, but sometimes your body can go "wrong" and change. I'm loving my short runs in this, but unfortunately the toe box is narrower than what I personally need. A great shoe that feels just like the version of it I bought two years ago, esp if you don't have foot issues like me!

These shoes are very comfortable for normal heal strike walking. However, my running style is to land on the ball of my foot, not my heal. Compared with my old GT-2000 9 pair I feel like these new shoes are holding me back and causing me to expend additional energy to get the same level of running stride as my old shoes. The hold back effect is not as noticeable if I heal strike while running but this isn't good form and can cause joint problems.
My old shoes caused knee and hip pain, which the new shoes don't cause. That is a plus.

This was my first ASICS shoe. I used the tool for determining the pronation of my foot and chose this shoe based on the shoes recommended for my foot. I first tried visiting several brick and mortar stores to try on shoes, but there was a very limited selection to choose from. So I returned to the website and purchased the shoe and wore it around my house. Felt good. I put them on and wore them for one day at work, probably walking less than 2 miles but also lots of standing. At the end of the day, my feet were a mess. Both my big toes and my little toes were rubbing, as was the heel. I think I should have ordered the wide and that would have solved the issue. The padding and the comfort of the shoe are fine but the rubbing indicates that the shoe is too narrow for me. Of course, since the shoe was worn for one day outside, it can't be returned so now I have a couple of expensive door stops. It's a bummer but I guess I will go back to my old shoe (different brand) because I know it fits. It's hard to buy shoes these days because you can't really try them on in the store unless you want something that's in their limited brick and mortar inventory. It's a guess and a gamble to hope you purchase the right shoe, and they're so expensive that I think you tend to just keep buying the same shoe because you know how it fits and never venture out to try something new.

I have been running for over 40 years. I have always and always will wear Asics. Asics were made for my feet and it is good to know that I will always have that consistent quality and support that I get from my running shoes. I love the new Nimbus! I love the stretchy tongue with the loop at the top for grabbing, I also love the cushion. It is like running on pillows. Thank you for making a good product and thank you for being consistent.

I went through 2 pairs of shoes walking the Camino and wish I had these instead. I bought my first pair last fall and just bought another pair! I walked 10+ miles all over Paris in them, hiked in southern France and my legs, back and feet felt great the whole time. They are perfect combination of support, cushion and style.

This model has always worked well for me. These shoes have enough cushion and stability and don't take long to break in. Great fit.

Who designed these? Clearly they were not thoughtful or intentional because who puts a design using stitching on top of the foot where it RUBS!?! 20 mins in to my walk/run, immediate pain and blistering due to the running of the design. I'm really disappointed I spent so much money on these sneakers only for them to not feel good for a reason that was EASILY avoidable. They must not have even tested these out before putting them on the market. How disappointing!!

Women's Asics GT 2000's including the new (14) have been my favorite and most comfortable shoe with the 3D Guidance System stability. These are my 'go to' for my fast paced daily walking and any other activity. Love the bright blue color!

This is my third pair of the same shoe: I love wearing these at work when I am on my feet all day at the hospital. They have the perfect amount of cushion and fit really well!

Very comfortable. Better color options would be nice though, the gray is as light as white and dirtied up right away. Really wish Asics would get new designs...the white bottom part on practically every shoe looks stupid. It looks better when the color of the bottom part matches the rest of the shoe. Really wish there were more dark color options than just black; like a dark gray, forest green...colors that look sleek and not goofy and hide scuffs better.

Good as always but now they don't have the loop on the back that you could use to help pull the shoe on. Not sure why they would stop having that as it's so helpful.

I bought these at my local sneaker store and I'm glad I did. Had to go up a whole size from last year's model.
Toe box seems to be narrower. Shoelaces keep slipping and coming undone. Tongue could use more padding. Have been buying this model for years and each year it seems the quality is becoming
less and less.

I love ASICS. I had Plantar Fasciitis and wearing the right pair of ASICS helped the pain go away.

Literally the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on

These shoes have amazing response and have the perfect amount of stability. I tried on the Kayanos and I felt like I had stability bars running under my feet, but the GT-2000s are just right. My feet are happy wearing these shoes all day. If you need trail shoes, the Asics Trabuco fit similarly. And I love the bright green color (Whisper Green/Monument Blue), but it does show dirt easily. Just take good care of them.

I've worn Asics for years and will continue to. These just weren't my favorite. I have long but thin and narrow feet - size 8.5 - and they are a lot roomier and the sole is quite large. Not the most visually appealing for my size (5'2" 100 lbs). They are taking time to get used to. They are definitely a stability shoe though and I'm hopeful I'll like them better in time because I took the tags off making them no longer returnable.

My go-to running sneaker. Super light and snug fitting with ample flexibility.

I have been wearing the GT 2000's since I was 18 years old (14 years) and this redesign is perhaps the worst. I've only had these shoes for 1.5 months and they have been irritating the bottom of my feet and crunching my toes. I literally just checked my email to see when I ordered these because they're breaking down and I feel like I need a new pair. Because of the new tongue design, the shoe often feels like its not sitting right on your foot. I have to fully untie and relace every time I put them on. The cushion seems to compress unevenly in a way I have never noticed before. After a few miles of running I will feel my feet sliding out to the sides, almost making me over-pronate. Then I have to compensate and it throws my stride off.

Love the shoes, great for my style of running. Asics continues to stand the test of time for me after 35 years of running.

This is a great walking shoe. It runs true to size and is very comfortable. They are a little warm and take some adjustment but overall I am very happy with this shoe.

I was wearing worn out shoes and my knee was killing me! I had to stop running for a few weeks. I bought these (I already knew these would work for me because I religiously used Asics 2120s back in high school and college). I feel amazing now.

I am so happy with these shoes. They are supportive and comfortable. They fit my orthotics without any issues. I will be buying a second pair.

Very lightweight, but feel less supportive/sturdy than my GT 2000 13's. Laces come untied easily.

The shoes are great- I only buy Asics. However, these shoe laces come untied during my walks even thought I double not them. Very frustrating (and dangerous, I'm over 80)

I bought these about a month ago and they are so incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly!

Great running shoe. I'm in my 50's, and this shoe fits well, gives great support, and lasts long. I never have arch, heel, toe, plantar fascia, shin or knee pain with this shoe.

Similar to last year's version except more narrow. I have a narrow foot so it isn't as much a problem, but prefer it to be a bit wider. It's more stable if it's a bit wider.

I prefer earlier models. This one seems plasticy and cheaper, has very little ventilation and so I'm worried that hot summer outdoor exercise will be uncomfortable, and the cheapest laces I've ever experienced. I have to retie them every time I wear the shoes, and that is ridiculous for this expensive of a running shoe.

I've been wearing the GT-2000 for many years and have always loved them, but the 14 feels like a completely different shoe. The roll from heel to toe takes so much effort that my ankles and shins are exhausted a mile into my run. I do like the cushioning on the 14, but overall I'm not enjoying my runs with these and will be looking for a new model.

The GT-2000 14s are extremely comfortable-some of the most comfortable shoes I've tried. I really wanted to love them. Unfortunately, for treadmill running they felt a bit too platform-like, which made me feel slightly unstable, like I might lose my balance. Comfort-wise, they were outstanding, but I don't need another pair of casual shoes in my rotation, so they weren't the right fit for my needs.

My foot is between a narrow and regular and ASICS fit perfectly. I'm on my feet a lot and they provide good support.

I have been wearing Gel nimbus for many years. I love this shoe. I am a walker, not a runner, and have put this shoe on right out of the box and walked five miles.

I'm recovering from acl surgery and just got cleared for running. This one is great for shock absorption while still being able to feel my feet landing. And sooo comfy!!!!

Please add more colorways. gT-2000 12 had the best
