Adult Mercurial Lite Shin Guards

Speaking to my 9 year old, she thinks these shin pads are comfy and good.

She has had other items in the past that have been too tight around the legs but these shin protectors fit well. The socks that it comes with are stretchy and not too tight around her legs.

They stay in place when running around so there's no issue there, it's peace of mind for protection.

Both she and I love the colour style it's a nice bright pink with a yellow highlight.

They are tough and rugged but comfortable and she has no complaints, only the opposite.

The Merc Lite bag is very durable and easy to play with. I have used them for several football games and had no problem. The fitting of the guards are very good and they are very solid as I have made contact with other players a number of times. Would definitely recommend to purchase these shin guards to others and use them on a daily basis.

These shinpads look as though they will protect your shin for years to come. The bright colour (pink for me) means you will never lose them in the depths of my sport bag nor would I accidentally leave one at home.
The padding seems comfy enough for a full 90 minute game without causing any irritations.
If your socks are tight enough enough I doubt you would even need the included sleeve things included - which are still of a high quality material which will last as long as the shinpads, if not longer. They are a simple grey with a yellow logo which looks quite stylish in my opinion.

I would recommend these to any avid footballer!

My son wore these as an alternative for his other shin guards, he preferred the fabric sleeve to the straps on the standard shin guards and said that the felt so much more comfortable, after a little while it didn't feel like he had any on.
The overall quality of the product is great, they feel well made, not too big nor too small, sit perfectly on his legs and don't allow all of the sweat to gather between them and the leg.
Overall these are a great quality purchase which do exactly what they need to.

The Nike Merc Lite Bag is an excellent product to use when playing football. They are very comfortable and very easy to put on and keep in place.

The design of the product is very good and appealing to the eye. The colours pop and stand out.

The materials that were used were very comfortable. The material was fit for purpose and good quality and would recommend to someone if they were going to use them for a long time, as the material seems like it would last for a long time without getting damaged.

If I was to change anything regarding the product. I would add grip patches to the fabric that goes round the heels of your foot. I think this would add better grip when wearing them with football boots and would be less likely to move your foot whilst in the shoe.

The Nike Mercurial Lite shinguards are a pretty great product, especially if you're playing teamsports in a more casual capacity and are a smaller bodytype!

Sizing is always a bit confusing for me on stuff like this, but I am 5ft 6inches and about 15 stone - so on the larger size! I have these in a large and they fit me a bit strangely. The sleeves go onto my legs but roll down, I think because they are slightly too small, if I keep them at my lower shin they are fine but anywhere above that they start to roll down - which isn't ideal. The shinguards themselves are perhaps a tiny bit too small in width for my shin, but would 100% do the job. It's just hard to keep them in place because of the sleeves! For this product I would suggest if you are a female size UK 16 like me that these might be too small for you and not appropriate for a comfortable fit. I think for anyone at a UK14 or UK12 womans size would be fine with a large.

Design wise, I think these are pretty sick. I LOVE pink and green and these are super vibrant and just fun to have as part of your gear. I like to express a bit of my personality when in kit and these help me feel a little bit more like me. I also like the fabric the product is made for. The shinguards themselves are super durable and survived some groundslides from me without any damage. The back is foamy and padded and provides a really nice cushion when you're deep in a game. The sleeves are sweatwicking and I didn't feel hot at all in these and felt like it wasn't holding in all the sweat. I also really like that these are really lightweight, as I feel like it's easy to get bogged down by your protective gear. These are really non-intrusive.

My favourite part of these is the colours and the light-weight nature of them. But I would really like to see more specific size options in the product to account for those of us with bigger legs! I would probably wear these a lot if they fit properly, but unfortunately I think I won't be wearing them all that much because of the rolling down situation!

The Merc Lite shin pads are reasonably lightweight and breathable and provided good coverage of my shin. However, they are slightly on the thick side due to design of the bubbly surface that provides breathability. Also I found the shin pads tended to move around a bit when playing as the sleeves provided do not provide enough compression to prevent them slipping. I found I needed to use sock tape to help prevent any movement. Overall, these are a solid choice of shin pads.

The Mercurial Light pads are a real step up in terms of being protected with minimal weight/bulk.

First impressions out of the bag were the striking pink colourway and the contoured lines of the pad, designed to flow with the curvature of the shin, very ergonomic design.

I like the textured backing, allowing for proper ventilation through wearing shin guards (I have had problems with this in previous other branded shin pads)

After a few minutes of running around I could barely notice them due to their lightweight construction and had the "pleasure" of wearing them during a bitterly challenged derby match where I was on the receiving end of some strong tackles, pads held up well.

Compact, comfortable, strong and light! Bright colours helps with locating them both quickly when leaving the house!

The bags amazing. It's durable and will last a very long time. The design on the bag is really good too. It really takes into consideration a ball player that would need the product and wants to keep things organised.
The shin pads themselves are out of this world! So comfortable and light weight. It's like you have nothing there but still have the protection. Colours used are really bright which I liked.
The one thing that needs improving is the sleeve. I play 3 times a week and find they start coming down. They need more elastic to keep them in place!

Worn these shin pads for a few 5-a-side games and I have to say I'm impressed. Very rarely did I have to adjust the pads at all! The fit was perfect thanks to the carved-away foam and the small holes helped prevent the pads from slipping from sweat. The pads were lightweight enough to not slow me down but strong enough to give me confidence that they would protect me. They offered great protection from all the tackles and stayed in place after most of them. The sleeves were easy enough to get on but my only issue with them was after the games taking them off proved challenging if I didn't take my sock off first. The sleeves did a great job at keeping the pads in place. Overall, these shin pads are a great choice that will help prevent injury's without slowing you down

The Nike Marc Lite Shinpads are a very sturdy product. I liked that there was padding against the leg for comfort. I also loved the bright pink colour - very funky! The bag they come in to carry them and keep them together is lightweight and handy. I liked the design of having the leg warmer style sock to put on and then slip the shin pad in to keep it in place. Unfortunately, the shin sock is very very small, and wouldn't fit over my leg. It barely fit on my forearm. There is not much stretch in these at all so I would definitely recommend sizing up. Due to this issue I couldn't wear them to play football, so am unsure how protective they would be. The other shell seems very touch though, and with the inside padding I would think they would give lots of protection.
Overall it seems like a good product, but I unfortunately couldn't use them, as they were far too small.

This product looks absolutely great and the protection they give me is unmatched. They do however run a little small so feel extremely tight when moving and running around.
The bag they come in is brilliant though as I am constantly losing my shinpads, so being able to keep them safe in the bag is great.

These shin pads are near perfect for me, they are extremely comfortable and lightweight it almost feels like you aren't wearing any. I usually find with shin pads they have a tendency to rub and cause discomfort while you are playing, I have played 4 games in these and haven't had any issues they have been perfect.

They come with a really nice sleeve to hold the shin pads in place they run slightly small but that is definitely a good thing as you don't have to keep adjusting your shin pads after a slide tackle. The padding on the inside of the shin pads provide plenty of cushioning should you get caught by a bad challenge.

The only tiny issue I have with these shin pads if the colour, it's not the biggest issue as you don't actually see them when playing but I personally would just go for plain black. Overall I think these shin pads are great and would highly recommend them to everyone!

Have been loving the Merc Lite shin guards since they arrived a few weeks ago.

Ordered size XL and they fit really well, offering great coverage of the shin area and comfort.

Once in place, the shin sleeves ensure a locked-in fit and they havent needed any adjustment during games, preventing any slippage and allowing me to just focus on the game.

This editon comes in a bright, glossy finish which are really eye catching, but once on, the sleeves hide most of this.

They are a lightweight, fairly rigid traditional design and shape, albeit with more premium feel due to the glossy, colourful finish.

They are also perforated throughout to allow airflow, this feature, alongside the breathable shin sleeves, increased my comfort during matches and kept me cooler as a result, this was a feature which I really liked.

The foam material which backs the pads and makes contact with the shin itself is a fairly hard foam composite type, and this maybe could be a little softer, but i did find that it soaked up any impacts that i took during use, so no complaints from me!

To begin with, the bright pink colour with the black tick is a very standout and eye catching design. These shin guards are very sturdy with a hard outer shell and soft comfortable inside. Furthermore, the product comes with two light grey coloured over the shin guard covers which feel great and look great. The material of the covers are soft mesh which are very light also, the product comes with a small bag which you can store your shin guards in which is very convenient.

The shin guards are well designed and the shape is perfect to cover your shins which is the part this item is protecting. They are comfortable enough to wear when underneath socks however, it does take time to get used to them as they are not entirely comfortable as you can still feel the slight plastic shell feeling on your skin which is slightly uncomfortable.

When using them in a football game, I felt protected and was comfortable enough to keep them on during the game without them affecting my performance negatively.

The inner material of the product is a softer material which provides some comfort and allows for movement which is very important when playing physical sports.

What I like the most about this product is the bright eye catching design and the shape of the item which is very important as it is designed in a way to cover your entire shin which is the sole purpose of the product. On the other hand, I would improve the size of the product making it slightly bigger to cater for the larger leg target market as more surface area needs to be covered.

Overall, I would recommend this product to friends if they are engaging in physical sports and require protection for their shins.

The guards/sleeves are well designed. Not only good looking, but also made of durable light-weight material. On the inside they are soft and comfortable.

These shin pads are easily the best I have ever had. Firstly, these look great with a very stylish sleeve that fits very securely around your shin and then the pink shin pads can be secured in and they fit very well and remain very secure throughout 90 minutes of football. I have played three games wearing these and they have provided good protection for my shins and have felt very comfortable to wear. The pads themselves fit very well and are very easy to clean and are very durable. Normally I would use shin pads with ankle protectors but I felt very safe wearing this product and would 100% recommend them to a family member or friend that enjoys playing football.

These shinpads are light but provide good protection. I use them for hockey and recieved a few blows that they shook off with no pain or injury.

They stay in place and you forget you are wearing them with the comfort and lightness.

Aside from the shin guards being too small for me, I appreciate that these are one size fits all but it would appear I have larger than the average legs!

The shin guards are stylish and very durable which would keep them in line with today's society in the football/soccer culture.

I love the sleeve that comes with the shin guards to hold them in place, in my younger days I spent time adjusting the shin guards during games which is eradicated with this sleeve!

All in all I think the product is very good and more than adequate to do a job and looks very cool in the process. I feel this product will be a big hit for the younger generation.

This product runs a little small and feels very uncomfortable if you have bigger legs like myself. However, they do feel very durable and look really cool.

Nice protection with a lot of padding and the leg sleeve fitted well. I normally use shin pads with Velcro attachments but this style has converted me. Also very easy to take on and off.

I was excited to try the merc lite shinguards.
Playing football 3 times a week but knowing I need as much protection on my legs for work purposes is always a big must for me.
However I still want them to look cool!

The colour was absolutely amazing the bright pink with the yellow details makes them look very professional and also expensive.
The colour being so bright can easily be seen through my football sock which I quite like as it just shows enough colour on the leg.

The shape of the shin pads is perfect and really protects the leg. Being slightly higher on the outer side of the leg as it gives you that more wrap around the leg protection and not just over the front.

The hexagonal cushioning against the leg I was unsure on until I put them on! Extremely comfortable but I realised after training that the reason for the hexagonal pattern was for more than just comfort. After training when I removed the shin guards there was hardly any sweat the pattern removes it from the leg and allows it to breathe underneath.
Playing a match at the weekend it was pouring with rain but after the game being soaked through under the shin guards I was bone dry.

The leg socks that come with the shinguards are the perfect size they allow you to slip the shinguards on and off very easily and also really make sure they stay in place under the socks.
I must say I have had leg socks before that are very itchy but these were the opposite. Very comfortable and again very breathable. The only problem with them was they are white and as you can imagine got very dirty however a quick wash and they were as good as new, not losing any shape and perfect white again.

The only point I would change was the sizing I found the XL very large and a little bit roomy.
However I loved them so much that I purchased a new pair in a large which are the perfect fit.

Overall they are a great shin pad definitely size down but so worth it for comfortable breathable and well designed shin pads that look incredible.
I mean I liked them so much that I purchased the boots in the same colour!!

These shin pads are a nice alternative to the basic coloured ones you normally see. They're easy to spot when on the changing room floor amongst the kit, making sure I don't loose them! The bag that comes with the shin pads is really handy, making them easy to locate in my kit bag and keeping both shin pads & the sleeves together. The sleeves are great, they keep the shin pads in place all match or training session and are very comfortable. The design on the back has definitely made a difference in my sweat levels on my shins which is a bonus. Overall really like the product.

My daughter couldn't do without these. Must have for her football practice. Very comfortable and look durable and most importantly protects her shins.
So much easier to use than the other types.

The shin guards are plenty durable and lightweight and the colour scheme is really bold and vibrant which I like. They are just a little on the small side which makes it hard to make sure they stay in place.

Like this a lot, fits nicely and very well put together. The cushioned inside is a delight to run and play in, doesn't feel like you've got them on. The design is spot on. Wouldn't change anything.

Having tested the Mercurial Lite Shinguards over a period of a few weeks, I can say I will happily carry on using these to protect my shins playing football.

My previous pair on Shinguards were also a pair of mercurials, so I was already familiar with the mercurial line and noticed some differences/improvements.

Notably the padding on the back has a new design and feels a little more firm than my older pair. This could just be from more wear to the Shinguards, however the firmness on the new Mercurials was not a negative and I still felt supported from the small knocks I had while wearing them.

The Shinguards themselves felt strong a durable and held up well while whilst playing and I would feel confident they would take a heavy impact from a big challenge. They are also fairly breathable and didn't make my legs feel to sweaty or uncomfortably

I really appreciated getting the two sleeves that came with the Shinguards to keep them in place whilst wearing them. I had lost the ones I had with my old pair and sometimes taping them in place doesn't always work or last, as the tape has snapped on me in the past. A pair of sleeves is a must for me

I always enjoyed how vibrant the colours are on the Shinguards. It just makes you play better with a bit of colour

My old pair will get well earned retirement now, the new Mercurials are here to stay!
