Not only does this watch look awesome, its comfortable and the fitness tracking is the best in the market

I returned it looks cheap and for the price it should look better

This is my 3rd Garmin Fenix Watch and the best by far. Does a superb job tracking through the roughest terrain. Would highly recommend

I had it for 2 weeks now for that price I should be able to See the images in small and with a good quality the touch screen would be nice if it had left right,right left, be able to access the option more quickly.

This is an eye-wateringly expensive smartwatch. But so far I'm really liking it. After 1.5 weeks the battery is at 56% and says that's another 16 days before I have to charge. Hard to beat that. I have used the GPS only three or four hours, but that's good battery life. Position is far more accurate than my last watch (Vívoactive HR). The heart-rate and sleep tracking also seem far improved. The display is very clear and legible, both at night and in full sun. The size is lovely for my 60+ yr old eyes when reading text messages.

I have two complaints.

Firstly the atrocious and cheap silicone band provided with the watch. That seems to cause skin problems in so many people. Surely Garmin could afford to provide some halfway decent choices when charging close to $1,000 for a watch. Apple have them well beaten there. I was a little concerned the size would be problematic. My wrist is about average for a bloke, I guess at 7.8" around. With a nice nylon mesh (i.e. breathable), velcro (i.e. infinitely adjustible) replacement band (Engreek, $24.79 on Amazon) the watch is very comfortable.

Secondly, Garmin seems incapable of writing software. To install many watch faces and apps you need to connect it to a PC/laptop. Whaaaat. Are they incapable.of putting that into a smartphone app? Apparently so. Oh, and then you need not one, but two smart phone apps. I dread trying to get maps downloaded from AllTails to the watch. And no matter that I have a Navionics subscription. It seems practically impossible to connect that to the watch. Seems I need yet another subscription, and yet another app. It's a laughably incompetent set of software, and I'm sure Apple just loves this leve of incompetence in a competitor. The usefulness of the watch is seriously limited by the terrible software.

My first smartwatch was the Fenix 3 Sapphire and for a little over a year, I have used a Fenix 6 Sapphire that I got from a friend. However, this Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar seems to be the pinnacle of the idea.

The mapping is much more granular. The touchscreen is handy. The flashlight is an absolute game changer.

Love this watch and the update keep on coming. But wish the mapping and tracking was a little more user friendly. Also, tends to be buggy. Still trying to load Spotify on my watch otherwise I go weeks without charging.

I've had other watches with GPS features, but this by far takes the cake. Battery life is a plus due to the solar capability. Much lighter than my last watch and day to use the app features without having to download apps to use features. Would definitely but again

I absolutely love this watch.

Its software and features are incredible.

It literally checks all my boxes from that standpoint.

One issue I have is that the buttons have broken twice and it has been replaced once under the garmin warranty and once under my extended warranty from Amazon. I think it's an amazing watch and it does everything I could ask it for. And support has always been extremely helpful trying to help me with other attempted fixes when the buttons break. Like soaking it, or things like that. But the reliability of the buttons does concern me at this price point. I'd still buy it again. But maybe get an extra warranty if you can. Still my favorite sports watch I've used.

This watch is the perfect training partner and ABC watch out there! The map features are great, and I love the accuracy of the GPS. I have also benefitted from the sleep-tracking features.

This is my second Fenix, I started with the 5 about 5 years ago and it has been BULLETPROOF and such an asset to my active lifestyle. My wife upgraded me recently as a gift to the 7 and it's BALLER and I love it. Enhanced features, wicked long battery life, great functionality, amazing accuracy for the GPS whether you are golfing, going for a run etc...

Plus it has a cool little flashlight on the top that if you double click the light function it comes on..Super strong and convenient when you least expect it...

Price is a little steep but its worth every single penny and my wife has used an Apple Watch for years and would have to charge it every single night and I charge mine about every 3 weeks or so...

She just moved over to Garmin as well to join the Varsity Team...

The features on the watch are great, however I'm unable to read text messages, and when I contacted Garmin support I received no help whatsoever. It's been 2 weeks since I last heard from support staff. Disappointing

Bought a couple weeks ago. Does everything and more than I need.

The 51mm is a little big for me, but I'd rather have the extra size and the flashlight. Which is nice to have I'd you're not carrying another light source around.

I upgraded from a 6 Pro for more gps accuracy, newer metrics and increased battery life. It's what I expected but I would like more battery life. It gets about 1/2 what I expected.

This watch by far exceeds my expectations I love how versatile it is and the battery life.

I'm still learning all the features but I'm very impressed with this watch and all that it does. For the features I have used they worked flawless and gave me all the information I needed. Best watch I have ever owned

I bought this about a month ago and have been using it every day. It's tough I had an issue with a skin but I got a new band from garmin already so far so good. The only negative thing I can think of so far which I know was going to happen is the housing is scratched. I wanted the stainless housing but needed the dark butttons cause I figured the white buttons would get nasty with my line of work Plumber. But I was assured the glass wouldn't scratch which was my main worry and hasn't so far. I love the flashlight for everyday use. It's the main reason I got it my wife says but there's a ton of little things the watch is helpful to me about. Texts, notifications, managing calories, I love how it tracks my sleep. Battery lasts a long time. I like the nylon band better seems like the silicone band was either too tight or too loose.

I went from an apple watch to the Fenix7x. It takes some getting used to, but so far I love it. The features are so numerous its crazy. Love not having to charge the battery every day. I do wish I could have Apple Music, but its fine, I can still use my phone for music, and run the controls with the watch.

I've had the Fenix 6X and 7X. The 7 was a big upgrade but it didn't have the sapphire or Multiband capability, which I love having that option. Keeping it on Auto Select is perfect to guarantee good GPS accuracy and battery life as well! It's a tank, and can do way more than I can throw at it. If I had any complaints at all, it would be two, and they are relatively small. 1. The Sapphire Screen is pretty dim and VERY reflective so the screen is sometimes challenging to read if it's really cloudy and you're on a trail with lots of trees showing as shadows on the screen. The nature of of sapphire has a dimming effect so there's not much that can be done there. The Epix Pro with the amoled screen is amazing and is not hindered by the sapphire screen, it blasts right through it no problem. It is what it is, I'd rather have the peace of mind of the extra screen protection from the sapphire lense then to have one that's prone to scratching but just a little bit more visible. Secondly, and this isn't Fenix Specific, more Garmin in general on runs/trail runs. When you're nearing the next mile, and it crosses over the next mile, the watch takes anywhere from 3-8 seconds to actually beep and register the mile and give you a time. So the watch display with cross over to the mile mark 1.00 miles but then it won't beep for several seconds and give your split a time that's actually not accurate. If you're keeping really close tabs on splits and mile PR's, getting gypped on 3-8 seconds can be a big deal. If it beeped but gave you the time you actually crossed that mile threshold it wouldn't bug me as much, but I've found this really odd, and don't understand how that it's not something that can be fixed through a software update from what I'm told. Again, it's not a deal breaker but I had a Coros Watch for a while testing them out and their watches beep the next mile EXACTLY when it crosses over to the next mile which I found pretty nice. That was about the ONLY thing that Coros had over Garmin in my opinion. They are perpetually 3-5 years behind Garmin and trying to rush new features before they even work properly. That being said, Garmin's the best, and the Fenix is the undisputed champ on features and build! The Flashlight is actually super helpful, a LOT more than I thought it would when I first heard about it!

The ad stated that all Fenix watches are preloaded with over 40,000 golf course layouts. Great I thought. However, after setting up my own watch it does not allow access to the Golf information!!!

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Still getting used to wearing but easy to use and a lot new features

I've had this watch for a few weeks, I purchased it because my Instinct 2 Solar was getting hard to read and I refuse glasses lol (only contacts).

The watch itself s built like a tank and the 7x Sapphire Solar checks every geeky box with the larger battery, more RAM, sapphire crystal, and titanium body (stainless bezel).

TheGarmin Connect and IQ apps provide most of the functionality a typical user would want. Lots of apps and watch faces in the IQ store - most of the faces are fairly configurable.

The watch supports LOTS of activities - which are configurable including multiple data screens per activity and up to six segments (data points) per screen. It's absolutely over the top and I love it. In the pic I'm running the Glance Pro watch face which allows opening apps related to on-screen metrics with a 'long press'.

There are many built in notifications including phone, a morning report, training feedback and suggestions; it goes on and on with a common theme - well thought out configuration options.

The watch is fairly usable without having to spend much - or any - setting it up, but if you spend the time it pays dividends (and it can be really fun).

The only caveat I would confer would be the colors are a bit lackluster, nothing like an OLED screen in terms of vibrance and color depth, however my understanding is the Fenix screen is superior in direct sunlight (no personal comparison experience).

One last thing, there are accessories like colors and watch bands to dress and/or protect. I like the replacement band but the plastic cover made the watch look extremely lame YMMV.

Got this from my husband. Would not recommend this watch for over $900.00 . Not worth it. You could get a cheaper Garmin that pretty much does the same as you don't really use all of these. It doesn't text with my iPhone so I don't like that.

I would rather have a G shock watch instead.

I've now had my Garmin Fenix 7X Solar Sapphire Watch for about a month and I'm in love! Before the Fenix, I had the Apple Watch for 4 years. Never looking back! Garmin has checked every box from looks to function and beyond.

I am not a fan of apple watch and garmin 7x is not only smart, best health monitor and not have to use some silly 3rd part app like apple. Thank you garmin keep up the excellent work. Only thing I wish it had was to be able to talk from the phone itself then that would be great!

I don't even know where to begin. First of all, this thing is like the wrist device from Fallout, if you swap "inventory" for the wallet wallet feature, you're basically walking around with a Pip-boy. Health stats, map, communication, tracking, RADIO! Flashlight?! Throw in the solar powered feature and "Bat-watch" is the able applicalpe nickname. I MTB, climb, hike, ski and kayak. This thing tracks those, sleep and any other critical vitals you feel like keeping on top of. Pricey? Yes. Are there lower model options? Yes. No offense to the smart watch my 7X retired, but the Series 4, or subsequent, series is pretty much a Scooby-Doo watch at this point. Dip a toe in with a lower model, or go big, you won't be disappointed by the available features. Nylon hook-loop system strap is the accessory to achieve peak fit and is an option under 40 dollars

I bought my Garmin about a month ago, and have not regret it one bit. The features it has to keep my health in check motivates me to be healthier. I want to walk more, I want to climb more floors, I actually want to loose weight.

The battery life on it is astounding, it's not even a gimmick, actually a little annoyed because I never take it off haha. Do your research on what you want and get a garmin.

I purchased the Fenix 7x sapphire right after Christmas. I'm impressed with all that this watch can do and with its impressive battery life and the solar charging gives it an even longer battery life. I love the sleep tracking capabilities as well as all the different fitness workouts that be are already on the watch as well as the many more that can be added. The flash light function is super handy too. I started out with a Fenix 5 from Garmin (small bezel) and it was great but I'm 6"4 so I wanted something that was more substantial on my wrist so I decided to go with the Fenix 7x sapphire!

I bought this about a month ago and i love it, really tough watch and i love the red/ white light comes in handy.

I like the watch very much, it is taking a bit of time to manage all the features it offers as there is so much it can do

I've had them watch for about a month learning how to use the features, but would love to have a video connection somewhere instead of YouTube, to explain the features and the possible uses. A lot to learn, but still a good watch.

So I got this watch. I'm not impressed. It's hard to work. The watch face never works . I can't text from it , really.. for this notice it should come with a butler!! Really, really dissatisfied. My husband says are you wearing your watch? Oh no. I'm charging it. I've been telling him that for a week. It's in a drawer. I'll go back to my G Shock watch!

This is the first Garmin watch I have, I got it to pair it up with my A1i pro bow site for hunting, lot of neat features.

I got it for Christmas and I love it tells me everything I need to know

My wife gave me a 7X for X-Mass and wow is it nice. I had and love the 5X but the 7 is another level. Battery life, screen clarity, touch screen...So Happy!

I have had my watch a little over two weeks. It has extreme capabilities and I like that. However, the learning curve has been a little slow for me. I will keep learning and I think this will be an incredible tool in my extreme lifestyle.

I bought this watch a month ago to replace my aging Fenix 5x.

The 7x pro software has a huge improvement over the the older 5x

I was really struggling to choose between the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the Fenix 7,now I'm glad I got the Fenix 7x pro especially since Garmin reduced the price to about the same as the Apple Ultra 2

I have been drooling over this watch for a LONG time! Santa must of thought I was a good kid this year… I really can't say enough good thing about my Fénix 7. The body/health data is collects is second to none. The mapping function is robust and accurate, does everything I need and more (still working through all the functions). I am over the moon happy with my new smart watch! 12 out of 10, highly recommend!

So happy I replaced my Apple Watch for this one. In my opinion it was a big upgrade. It's definitely a lot more durable than my Apple Watch. Also, it allows me to properly train for marathons and triathlons by recording training data and analytics. Personally, in my opinion it looks a lot better as well. It is a very athletic looking. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Three weeks in and I am getting better quality sleep along with way more in depth analysis on day to day activities and workouts. Haven't got to take it camping yet but I already know it is going to do everything I hoped it would.

I'm sure it is a very cool watch, but is extremely unusual friendly

I had a garmin vivoactive prior to my Apple Watch. I was exited to change to Apple for ease of use but after 2 years realized I missed the functionality and app from garmin. Yes the Apple Watch is simple to use but for more details about workouts and trends the garmin is better. The fenix has everything. Its bigger than the Apple Watch so that takes a few days to get use to but all the same notifications come thru and the battery life is 100% better. It's a great watch that can do more than you think.

Great improvements and a lots of functionalities. For pwople whomloce sports is a great purchase.

Tbh I always thought these were too much (too heavy, too many features, etc) but honestly it is so much worth it. The flashlight is so helpful, touchscreen is so responsive and it never gets in the way. I do recommend getting the ultra fit nylon bands for a better fit and lighter feel.

Having replaced my old dead 5x with the 7x and still owning an Instict, I have to say I expected more. The instinct can pick up a measured KM to within a metre, however the 7x can be anything up 200m out on the wrist.

Garmin you need to fix this this or at least have an update downloadable through Express.

I've tried the 7x on all available gps settings and downloaded all updates through Express without any change in performance.

Love the watch and the battery life. Light in front is a life saver. Switched from Apple Watch don't regret it.

I have owned both Apple and previous model Garmin watches. Without a doubt or hesitation my Garmin Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar is the most accurate, and longest battery life smartwatch ever! It has literally replaced my other watches as my daily wear watch. Kudos Garmin!!

The watch is amazing and super easy to read. Can't wait to utilize all the features on trails in 2024
