UA HOVR Machina 2 is more than a running shoe. Yes, it gives you energy return and the speed of a pebax propulsion plate, but it also coaches you in real-time to help you run better when you connect them to UA mapmyrun. Connects to UA mapmyrun: tracks and analyses your running metrics to help make you a better runner. UA HOVR technology provides 'zero gravity feel' to maintain energy return that helps eliminate impact. Compression mesh energy web contains and moulds UA HOVR foam to give back the energy you put in. Ultralight 3d spacer mesh upper for increased breathability and ultimate speed. As your body emits energy, the mineral-infused UA rush lining absorbs and reflects it back, improving endurance. External heel counter for added stability and a locked-in feel. Sprint spike-inspired pebax speed plate for increased return and more powerful push-offs. Carbon rubber pods under the heel deliver greater traction and durability at high-impact strike zones. Neutral: for runners who need a balance of flexibility and cushioning.

Runs weirdly small
I normally get size 10.5 or even 10 on my other UA shoes. 10.5 on this shoe doesn't fit and I never had to go up to size 11 on any of my UA shoes or any other brands.

Great daily trainer
I just received them and ran 5k with no complaints. Great data collection through MapMyRun. This is my 2nd pair of UA running shoes and I’m impressed. My first UA running shoe was a Machina Off-Road of which I went with a snugger fit for trail running. I elected to go with a 1/2 size larger in the Machina 2 and I believe it makes for a more comfortable fit and results in a more relaxing run.

Great Design, Poor Execution!
I was excited for the Machina 2 because I love my Machina originals (2 pairs). I even ordered the same color. But these are a disappointment; for some reason, they are VERY noisy, constant squeaking like I am walking on an old wood floor. The right shoe feels like it has a collapsed sole, the quality is inconsistent. The left one is great. In addition, what I love about the originals is the cup of the heel, the grasp and confidence it gives you when running is gone. Also, they came in a box that looks like someone threw away and decided to use again.

This product is unbelievable!
It has a snug fit. Considering I currently do not reside in the US, this was the major fear I had before ordering a pair. However, it turned out alright. It feels like quality and you know you can never put a price on quality. Shipping and delivery were prompt. Overall it is a great buy and I highly recommend to anyone.

Great shoe
The shoe performed excellently comfortable right out of the box put a lot of miles on them. Ordered up a 1/2 size UA shoes seem to run a little small for me.

Great comfortable shoe with durability issues
I love this shoe! It looks great, is very comfortable and performs well. However, there are a couple of issues. If you get a light color it will get and stay dirty very fast. The shoes are also not very durable and will start to show signs of wear on the material much faster other shoes I have owned. Even with these issues I have now purchased four pairs over the last couple of years. So if you understand the things that are not good about them I would highly recommend them as your next shoe.

Great running shoes
Great shoes so far, I’ve been using these for biking and running. The shoes has good grip so when it’s raining I don’t slip easily, also the heels have a nice cushion which gives a good spring in your step.
