Ordered this to replace a Columbia fleece I have owned for many years. The old fleece was still perfectly functional, but really looked worn. The new fleece was delivered early February and the zippered pocket started snagging almost immediately. Today it jammed shut and I had to work hard to get my wallet out.

Decided to return under warranty and was not pleased to find it costs $6 for return shipping. Charging for shipping if ordered in error or if I didn't like the color is fine. But if the product is defective it shouldn't be on the customer to pay return shipping.

I've already placed a new order, as I liked the fit and function. I just hope the jammed zipper was a 1-off and this replacement fleece will provide a long service life like my original Columbia fleece from years ago.

I've owned this fleece from Columbia since 2008. The zipper finally broke 16 years later, and my wife's response was, oh, I liked how you looked in that one so you should get another. A classic and a staple. After all that time, there was no pilling or obvious wear and tear.

Great lightweight fleece jacket. Perfect for "cooler" days.

Only issue was shipping. Seems doesn't pay to pay for expedited shipping as it takes a while for order to process and so order does not deliver any quicker

It's a great jacket. Very warm and and Comfortable. Great for everyday wear.
Only issue with is it is that I ordered the black jacket it looks more like a dark gray/heather gray. It definitely does not look black. Especially when paired with something that is black. It almost looks as if I might have been sent wrong color.

I'm glad I bought this jacket it's nice and soft and good for the cold I got it in red and black however the delivery service on track and LaserShip were horrible they took 11 days instead of the promised 4 to deliver my item.

I like of the quality, but Its runs very large.
I purchase S its my size, but for me its very large, how awful.

It's a nice fleece, the fabric on the front is hard, I like to wear it

In the past I've been a North Face guy. The two jackets I got from them were very nice. Recently went to replace it. They no longer had the fleece jacket. I purchased the jacket that they replaced my old one with. Very disappointed. It was not a fleece jacket. The materials were much cheaper. Quality was way down. Returned it and got a Columbia. It's exactly like my old North Face. Quality just as good. Probably won't return to The North Face.

I don't know if I got a jacket that was returned but the presentation was lacking. The jacket was stuffed in the inner bag and not neatly folded. Also, It has a couple creases in the upper part of the jacket.
However, the two tone blue jacket is a nice color

Too big . L it's like xl have to return for a medium. Do not like when the sizes are accurate.

This jacket would be perfect, if it wasn't for the fact it restricts your movement. It doesn't have raglan sleeves. I had to sell mine,it's a shame because it's really soft and good looking.

Worst purchase I've ever made. I always bought columbia products for the quality, but I confess that I felt very offended by this product.

Great while it lasted (5 months), but then the stiching came undone, making the pockets unusable. The warranty claim process is definitely not worth the trouble.

I originally got a medium b/c that's my normal size, but I had to return it and get a small. This new one fits perfectly, though I feel the sleeves might be a little longer than expected. The fabric on the chest seems a little low quality in places, specifically under the Columbia logo on the left, and around the right side of the chest. You can tell the fleece isn't quite up to par. It is also a little thinner than I had expected it to be. But...it's a nice looking jacket and I like the colors on it. It's aight, could be better.

I've had this fleece less than 2 years the zipper already broke.

I have bought multiple of these fleece jackets over the years. The look and fit very nicely, but I have found that the zipper handle always ends up breaking off in my clothes dryer, which makes the fleece difficult to zip up from then on. (There is nothing peculiar about my clothes dryer.) Surely, Columbia must have noticed this problem. They could make a zipper handle that is more durable. Not sure I will ever purchase one of these again.

Wow! This is my firts fleece jacket from Columbia! And I love it! It fits to me and my son so good!

My normal size is L and if to compare the item which I get and the Size Chart so we get an XL size

This jacket I ordered for myself and my son. I have had it just over two months so can not return it. Both jackets pockets stitching came undone over the last two weeks. It unravels and can not be used for keeping things in the pockets ( falls out ) or keeping hands warm. Thew quality of Columbia has tailed way off and I cant return for a replacement.

I got this jacket a week ago and it's amazing! It's lightweight, keeps you warm, good fleece material, great build quality and workmanship, comfortable to wear and fits me perfectly ( I'm 5'9 170 lbs and wearing size medium). Got lots of compliments wearing this. No regrets buying this jacket. Highly recommended!

I bought this today, I am happy with my purchase. Looks very nice, Feels very nice, I would never change this for anything.

VERY WEIRD FUR AND WAS SUPER BIG AND FELT A BIT ODD

Ordered (2) Men's Steen Jackets size XL. Received (2) T-shirts size L And this took 3 weeks. Now I'm number 52 caller waiting for customer service to try to get what I paid for. Probably will not order from Columbia again.

I ordered 2 of the heather grey in medium. Overall, they are great. Lightweight and warm, I've worn them outside in 40F, no wind and it kept me warm. I'm 5'6, 170lbs, and the medium is a nice fit. The zippers are smooth. My one issue is with the quality. One of them came with a hole in the left pocket, looks like the sewing was incomplete. I've already worn it once, and unfortunately I didn't use the pocket until later, so not sure I can return it. Even if I could, I'm not sure it would be worth the hassle with having to pay for shipping and such anyways. Since it's not a tear/rip, I feel like I can fix it myself with my limited sewing ability.

We just bought it. And first that we did, it washed in machine. After that it looks ofull. Do not buy, do not recommend.

Its looks great, soft fleece, warm and comfortable. The most important thing is cheap and good quality.

I bought this jacket and the color was listed as "Tusk". The picture in the ad shows it as being a light tan. When it was delivered, it was actually green, which is hardly the same. I previously had ordered one of these jackets and the colors were supposed to be a tan and chocolate brown. Instead, they were a light green and olive green. It's just ridiculous that the pictures on the site are off by that much! I am a long time customer of Columbia, but this was the last one of their products I will be buying!

Disappointed with the color. I ordered the black one in a larger size to replace my older black one. The new "Black" is Dark Grey - not black.
Jacket is OK other than the color issue but I will probably return it

Overall it`s good but I am very disappointed that it didn`t have the Columbia logo on the chest as showed on the model pictures.

I already own a grey fleece from Columbia and wanted a black one. The quality of the jacket is nice just like the old grey on I own and still wear. My one complaint is that the black does not really look black it just looks like a darker grey. I d like the fit and feel of Columbia products so I will be keeping it

I have bought the Sterns Mountain jacket usually once a year to replace the one I wore out for many years and now the fit has changed. The FINELY TUNED FIT ruined a great jacket. Will not ordered this jacket again. I usally buy this jacket from Belk but due to covid I orded from the website. If I had went to Belk and tried it on I would have left it on the rack due to the new fit. Why change a jacket that was great?

I just took my new Columbia fleece jacket out for our last camping trip of the season. One tiny ember popped off the campfire and stuck hard to the front of the jacket, resisting all attempts to be brushed off and burning a finger-sized hole through to my shirt. In the last dozen years I've primarily used two fleece jackets to camp in: one older Columbia hoodie for colder weather and a pullover model by the company named after the bottom of South America. Both of those have suffered numerous little embers off campfires and even small melted areas, but the embers could always be quickly brushed off, and never burned all the way through. The fabric of this new fleece held the ember fast as it burned. Probably not a good idea to use this fabric for outdoor gear. One star for comfort before it burned/melted.

I LOVE this fleece! It is a perfect for me (6'4" 225lbs), and I love the quality and warmth it provides.

I loved my first fleece jacket I bought back in 2019 so much that I recently purchased another one on a different color. Unfortunately, the quality of my recently purchased jacket is not good and the sizing is much larger than the "small" size of my 2019 jacket. The first jacket was made in Cambodia and the recently purchase jacket was made in Indonesia. I wish Columbia had better quality control. Buyer beware. Purchasing online from Columbia is a gamble.

Ordered November 30th and still have not recieved the jacket. Should have been 0 stars but wouldn't let me post without at least 1 star

Way, way, way too thin. It's like a fleece windbreaker. Got a fleece Columbia 3 years ago, and the Steen that came today was nothing like the old one. The Sherpa is far too thick and this one too flimsy. There's nothing in between. I'm sending mine back.

I have 2 of these. Great mid-weight polar fleece for wearing by itself or layering. I often layer under a Goretex shell for winter/spring fly fishing. A real value at this cost. A chest pocket would be nice, but I am happy with current product.

It looks and feel good plus for 20 $ it was a steal.

My husband is obsessed with your products! I got this as a surprise for him and he loved it. It looks great on him and he plans to take it on a trip we have planned for next month.

My husband absolutely loves this jacket. He works for a construction company and the offices are kept cold all year long. I had to buy an extra one because he wears it every day & even on the weekends. My husband is 5' 9" and 200lbs and I bought him a size Large. The fit is perfect for him.

I'm give this as a gift but the Columbia products are OUTSTANDING!

I got myself a nice fleece a couple weeks ago, and when it arrived my boyfriend liked it so much, he was jealous! So I bought him one of these in 'Red Jasper'. The color is fantastic, like a Ruby red, and looks great on him. Fits true to size, and great quality. He loves it, and now we both have Columbia fleeces.

This is a great fleece...good for a little morning chill. I like that the cuffs have elastic around the wrist. I can't count how many times I've had to pull up sleeves that don't have them. The draw string at the bottom is a little annoying because it pulls from one side, but it's manageable. The fit runs a little large. I'm 5'11" 220 and wear XL in everything but from past experience I knew the L would be my fit. Sure enough the shoulders, sleeves and chest fit perfect, but the length is always a problem. It is about 1-2" short. This seems to be a normal thing in the camping world and I'm not really sure why.
Other than that this is a great fleece, all the zippers and stitching seem good.

I got this at a great price for my dad for Father's day! He loves it!
