I love these shoes. Very fast and ready for the race. The design is awesome.

I have now had 4 pairs of Vaporfly's and this third upgraded shoe is the best so far. It's far more balanced than the previous version and actually feels ability lighter. When I first tried them on, I was concerned that the shoe seems to have a high gait when my foot is neutral, however the arch isn't noticeable when you're running. First ten miler with them and they seem like a solid shoe. I would also say the the previous versions heel used to break up and tear when running on anything but perfectly newly laid tarmac. I haven't hit the road or raced with these yet, so we will see, but in first glance the heel construction does look a little more robust.

Absolutely love these trainers. The lightest pair of trainers I own and probably the comfiest too. I use these trainers actually for the gym, and they are great.

Bought these shoes for a half marathon and I was not disappointed. Smashed my PB and never felt so good. Comfort of the shoes is great, especially running long distance. And no blisters vs other shoes I used to do long runs with. Definitely a great pick for race day.
Only concern is durability so probably a pair to keep for races and long training runs.

Very disappointing, wore those shoes at Great North Run 2023 and the protective sole fell off after 1 mile. First time I wore them and the foam fell apart without any protection.

A real step backwards from my perspective on product quality and zippiness from previous VF 2 and Alphafly versions. I have owned the 4%, many Next % (plastic and weave upper versions) and Alphafly V1. All of those had their minor niggles but were outstanding in different ways and more importantly lasted at least 300 miles for my usage pattern, before any real significant upper and outsole wear.

The VF3 simply seems to have now lost the gains in outsole durability that the VF2 had introduced over the original 4% VF1. Don't get me wrong, it is a really comfortable shoe when new and intact and you will probably get a new PB out of the box, if you haven't prevously worn a Nike VF2 or VF1 4%.

However, my VF3 shoes showed signs of wear early on and some damage from 125 miles, until part of the rear sole protector fell off about 200 miles. This has now left the shoes as unwearable as they are unstable on the heal where the rubber is missing (see photo) and the foam is wearing away even quicker without the hard rubber to protect it.

I know other reviewers have previously reported short lives on the.VF2 and Alphafly ranges. But simply, when I compare these shoes against all my other Nike fly shoes. These VF3 shoes have worn the most badly at the lowest mileage and quicker than any other pairs. Holes also started growing and tearing above my toes in the upper, which is not as tough as the old Alphafly v1 mesh. Yet these shoes are a premium product.

In summary, I am really disappointed and thinking real hard about spending a premium again for potentially a couple of weeks of running. If you only do low mileage per week or just keep your VFs for infrequent race days, then you should be able to live with the lesser mileage over a longer usage period.

For marathon training. they probably won't last more than 4-6 weeks.

Super fast and comfortable, these are my favourite running shoes so far and I set a new 5K PB with them on their first outing.

I think that they are perfectly suited for races over 10k. However, in my opinion they don't have enough 'pop' for shorter distances.

They feel softer than previous Vaporfly editions, after racing in them I have hardly any muscle soreness.

The faster you run the better they are.

Really good fit and light

More comfortable and responsive than V1 and 2. The new design looks great. The outsole however has started to deteriorate after 25km, which is a shame, doubt I will be able to keep them in rotation after 300-400km.

Straight out of the box - 2 races and 2 PB's (5k & HM) Obviously the training went in before the races but these are a fantastic update to an already brilliant shoe. With the extra cushion I'm definitely using these for my next marathon - and hoping for another PB! 🔥

These are Nike's best Vaporfly's in my opinion. Lighter than version 2 and the upper seems more comfortable. The midsole offers a lot of soft cushioning and is super responsive. I've run about 100km in them and no sign of undue wear or tear like other reviewers. Super fast shoes.
