Thin and tightly fitted. Not a comfortable fit at all.

I have been running regularly since 1979, a year before I went into the US Army (and I went Airborne, so we ran a lot), and these are one of the three finest pairs of running shoes I have owned in that time. (Don't ask what the other two are.) The sole cushioning is great, the motion control smooth, but what's truly amazing is the heel cushioning. The heel is supported at the edges, so that it doesn't feel like your heel is smacking the ground, but just barely touching down and then lifting off again. I don't think I've ever had such good cushioning in the heel, not even from shoes with gel in there. Also: I had surgery to rebuild the arch in one foot, three years ago, and part of that was lengthening the heel cord on that side. Since then, the Achilles and the calcaneal bursae on the other side have always been sore with running, or other activities; but that completely went away after a couple of months in these shoes. Thank you, Hoka, for making such a great shoe!! Wonderful!!

I love my Hoka's best shoe I have ever worn. I am now on my 3rd pair. I dont see a change coming anytime soon.

Normally I wear supports but one foot creates too much pressure laterally. Thus I would like to have them fitted prior purchasing another pair. I wear them now without support and enjoy the comfort. Would like to see a brand that would be suitable for Pickleball.

I work ten+ hour shifts and walk around a lot and these are very comfortable.

I think these are the most comfortable sneaker I have ever had.

Very soft, I like the shoe, and am coming from the Arahi4. I do like the V4 better as the cup around the rear of the shoe grips your heel better. I was apprehensive on buying this pair as I only ran 130 miles on my V4's when the harder sole surface came apart from the cushioning on the bottom of each shoe. I definitely pronate, but not so bad that my running store recommended the Gaviota. At 190 lbs, and pronation, I wore through the soles on the V4 quickly. Hopefully I get more miles out of these, and purchased them at last year's model discount.

Use for walking with fused ankle. Not as good stability as the 4.

I wear them to work and they feel great. I would buy them again.

I wear Hokas for regular running and bought these for my wife for long walks and casual wear. She loves them, very comfortable and great looking!

So far this year, I have taken longer walks and had fewer runs, but the Arahi has been great either way. I have used past versions in half, full, and ultra marathons. I especially enjoy the cushion which puts a good bounce and spring in my step.

Took a couple of weeks for break in, but they're fine now.

Nice and lightweight. No the Hoka cushioning I've gotten used to.

I am a foot doctor and avid runner. Hokas are okay. No room for a custom orthotic.
It seems lighter on the joints but harder on feet.

This is a comfortable shoes, I have plantar fasciities and this is one of the few shoes that works for me.

Better heel support

Wife said to try hooks. She has multiple pairs. Good for walking. Would not buy for tennis or Pickleball.

New model for me. However I like them. Don't bother me, don't notice them when running, comfortable and seem to be the best shoe I've had recently.

They gave me blisters at first but after the first week they were completely broken in and extremely comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who walks/runs daily.

I've been a big fan of the Arahi for several years. The 5 allows you to exchange laces much easier and has all the supportive benefits of the previous models.

You know your company makes the best shoes in the whole wide world. I would just like to receive some coupons to help out because I will never stop buying different styles of Hoka. And I refer all my friends. These shoes save my feet and help to heal my Plantar fasciitis. Thanks a lot.

Tried to get another pair of Ahari 2's before they stopped making them but I was too late. These are a close second.
The soles on my Ahari 5's look like trail runners and I've tried them on a dirt road once but mainly they're my street and track shoes. The more I use them the more I like them but still sometimes use my 2's which I like better.
Appearance is not important to me but these have a retro look which is kind of nice.
I first wore them a little bit for walking and casual use to break them in but they're really fine for running straight out of the box. I'm 69 and have a messed up foot but have not had any pain from running in these.

Ran Boston 5K. Awesome shoe that helps with longer runs.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased, BUT they do not last long. I've have mine for about three months and the soles are worn pretty good. These are definitely not made to walk 6 miles a day is a warehouse setting on concrete. These are not exposed to any chemicals just walking on concrete. Again these are the best shoes for comfort. Would recommend and will purchase again.

These are my first pair of Hoka, and I I'm more than impressed. Not only are they extremely light and comfortable, but the support they offer are fantastic. I have been having knee problems for some time and the doctor suggested shoes with more stability. Well, I bought these Arahi's and felt the difference immediately. Wow.

I like this mostly because it's wider than others like Nike. True to size. I use them to walk, travel and the gym. Can't wait to to buy my next pair.

It's a perfect fit and I love the style and color!

These quite may be the best running shoe ever. They're light, provide the support I need in the right places and they look cool. What more could I ask for?

Walking some running

I have narrow feet but the Arahi felt too tight at the little toes in my normal running shoe size. Wrong foot shape at toes or toe box not deep enough. Speedgoat Evo is the only Hoka that has worked for my feet.
Also, I felt the Arahi did not have the energy return of other stability shoes. Felt a bit clunky to me. I'm sure it would be great for others.
30 years of running, 150 lbs, 20-25 miles a week.

I'm using them as a soccer official on turf fields.
So far very comfortable, a bit softer than expected, since I have been using ASICS Kayno's.
Overall a comfortable shoe, stability for persons over 190 lbs is a bit lacking!

I use it to jog and walk- the Gaviota 3s are better I think

Definitely recommend if you get your feet and walking pattern measured.

fit's beautifully and I can wear them for hours while feeling supported and comfortable.

Recommended by my physical therapist and a fantastic shoe. I use it for daily exercise and everyday wear.

Most shoes lose they cushion affect after a couple months. These still seem like I'm walking on air!

Amazing if you have flat feet. They are so comfortable, it feels like I'm walking on clouds.

Great looking and comfortable shoes I love them.

My Doctor suggested I start wearing them and they have helped with my foot pain. I hope to get a second pair when I have the extra money to have a pair for work and home. LOVE these shoes.

Recommended to me by my foot doctor and I love the shoe. Extremely comfortable and my foot pain went away. Would recommend this model or Hoka to anyone.
