Great walking shoes. Comfortable out of the box! Great support!

For the past year, I have enjoyed wearing multiple pairs of the Gel-Excite 10 so when it was time to get a new pair, of shoes, I didn't hesitate to order the new Gel-Excite 11. Unfortunately the updated model was not an improvement. The fit was less comfortable overall with the toe box being far less roomy. Sadly, I ended up returning these shoes.

Perfect Fit and weight. Really comfortable and great for all occasions.

the cushioning is very soft. you sink into the heel way too much even when walking. it lacks good road feel.

The Gel- Excite series is the only running shoe I have ever worn. By far the Excite-11 are the most comfortable yet. ASICs keep up the good work. Great show! Super Comfy

Just a great sneaker Fits great, economical and just a neat look

Inside toe guard/bump at the front of the shoe keeps creasing/folding/bending/breaking. Sent one pair back for warranty claim. Got a replacement pair. Same issue happened again. I like the brand. Looks like I will have to wait a year or two to see if the next Excites solve this issue. Never had the problem before.

I purchased the Gel-Excite 11 specifically for a trip to NYC, where I would need to do a lot of walking (7 Miles) and significant amounts of standing. I tried on the shoes and immediately liked the fit and look of the shoes; there were no areas that were too tight or too loose, giving me confidence that I would not develop any blisters. I especially liked the feel; the sole of the shoe was shock-absorbent yet firm. I am happy to say that the shoes performed splendidly and stylishly! Not that the trip is over, they are now used as true jogging shoes!

Was looking for comfortable shoes - tried Asics for the first time and turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend it for daily use.

The Gel-Excite 11 are light weight and give a lot of good support.

These sneakers are a essential part of my job as I stand for most of my work shift, a true black on black sneaker. The price is amazingly affordable. Comfort, style and price are unbelievable

These running shoes are very comfortable and great to run in. Good cushioning on each step during my runs, and I usually run on the road/sidewalk so usually a hard surface.

These were not quite as cushiony as I thought they would be, but I'm learning the Gel shoes just don't have the amount of cushion that those with the FF Blast sole. I do like them - they're sturdy and will work well for general wear, but I'll probably buy another pair with more float to them for walking/running. I'm 5'9" and 210lbs so I need the extra cushion for comfort. A lighter person might find these perfect for running.

Shoes are fine. Fit is a bit tighter than other ASICS I've owned. Still getting used to the bigger sole.

I bought these ASICS thinking I'd just get a decent pair of walking shoes… what I got instead was a full-blown lifestyle upgrade.

First off-comfort. These things feel like my feet signed a peace treaty with the ground. Long walks? No problem. I'm out here accidentally turning "quick errands" into 5-mile journeys like I'm training for something. Zero pain, zero regrets.

BUT… no one warned me about the side effects.

Apparently, wearing these instantly boosts your attractiveness by at least 73%. I step outside and suddenly I've got people noticing me like I'm the main character. My wife now keeps a metaphorical (and sometimes very real) stick nearby just to keep the admirers at bay. It's becoming a whole situation.

Jokes aside-these shoes are lightweight, supportive, and ridiculously comfortable. Whether you're walking, standing all day, or just trying to look like you have your life together… they deliver.

Final verdict:

10/10 style
11/10 unexpected charisma boost

Buy them… just be prepared to explain yourself when your popularity skyrockets ove

Bought for my 14 year old because he needed new shoes. He is usually pretty rough on shoes, the soles usually separate from the shoe by the toe, so fa these are holding up and doing he hasn't complained about them. He wears them for gym, track, weight room, and volleyball (maybe 3 hours daily).

I am long time fan of Asics shoes. This is the first time I have tried the Excite version. They have a good fit and are supper comfortable as a walking and an every day shoe. If you are looking for a comfortable and smooth ride, give them a try.

Best shoes I have had in years. I did not like Asics 8s.

I bought this shoe for my long distance running and I have about 310 mileage on it so far it's been great comfortable and long lasting!

I found the Gel line not as comfortable as the GT line. Not sure where the gel is and having only 5 shoestring eyelets instead of 6 requires yanking the strings even tighter which hurt my instep consistently.

More quality and comfort than former Gel Excite models

The Asics Gel Exite 11 is a very comfortable shoe! I was impressed with the quality of the shoe and the amount of cushioning the shoe provides! I used to wear the Brooks Ghost,but recently switched to the Asics gel exite 11and I like the support and cushioning they have far more better than the Brooks ghost. I would definitely recommend the Asics Gel Exite 11 to anyone look for a quality built shoe that supplies support and cushioning.

I feel the Gel kayano 25 are much comfortable. Feel these ones should be more supporting. Not much relief for the knees

Great shoe as always! ASICS are my go to shoe for comfort.

These are the shoes I'm going to buy the next 3 times. At least.
