Asics Mens GT-2000 14
The ASICS Men’s GT‑2000 14 is a well‑balanced daily trainer built for runners who need a guided stability shoe that doesn’t sacrifice cushioning or responsiveness. At the heart of the update is the new FF BLAST™ MAX foam midsole, which delivers a lightweight but bouncy feel that elevates the energy return with every step. In the heel, PureGEL™ inserts soften landings and minimize joint stress, while a trampoline‑style pod in the forefoot adds dynamic propulsion at toe‑off. The signature 3D Guidance System™ enhances natural gait stability, helping control overpronation without feeling rigid. The engineered mesh upper, made partly from recycled materials, combines breathability with a snug, comfortable fit, supported by an asymmetrical tongue design for better lockdown. Beneath, durable AHAR™ and AHARPLUS™ rubber sections provide strong traction and extended wear, and an OrthoLite™ X‑30 insole keeps the foot cooler and cushioned over long runs. With an 8 mm drop and a weight around 273 g, the GT‑2000 14 sits in the medium‑weight category—responsive enough for tempo work yet forgiving for long distances, all while offering the support many gait analysts recommend for mild to moderate overpronators.
