Love these trail runners - they look great and are super comfortable

I have used Nike running shoes for 5 years and usually run on roads in winter whilst in summer I tend to mix road/fields/paths/bridleways. I previously used my road shoes in summer but found the stability just wasn’t there when my ankle hit an angle in the path. This is where these shoes really excel. The sole around the rear of the foot is so much wider and therefore stable, no matter where I run. It’s made such a difference to the run and my speed has improved along with no twisting of the ankle.
I went for Gore-Tex due to the early dew on the fields and as usual, summer can get occasionally wet. The feet so far have stayed perfectly dry. On a hot day, I don’t notice any extra build up of heat with the Gore-Tex at all. I was concerned they may get too hot, but there’s no difference as far as I can tell. I would buy the Gore-Tex again over the standard.
The best part is that they run great whilst on the road. You don’t feel the weight and the return through the foam is perfect as ever. The toe box is nice and wide, so as I run and my feet swell up slightly my toes have the room to spread out and I don’t pull my toes in at all. This makes them even more comfortable for longer distances.
If you’re like me and mix running across paths, fields, roads, bridleways and canal paths, then these are the shoes for you. I would strongly recommend these shoes over others due to the stability and comfort alone!!

Great pair of trainers tested them properly at the weekend through some heavy trails and they held up well!

Bought a pair just over XMAS and yet to lace up with the shockingly good weather.
Finishing seems better when purchased on the official Nike website compared to an authorised retailer which I went to.

Excited to see how this shoe performs in wet Scottish weather!

Firstly, I own quite a few pairs of Nike and other brand trainers, so feel well placed to offer a review in comparison of these trainers.

The reason I bought them is because they are Gore-Tex and I live in a countryside environment on an on my road, which is very wet at this time of year. So far on the few times I’ve worn them I’ve not been disappointed by the waterproof qualities, water seems to bead straight off of them.

In terms of comfort, these are very comfortable trainers, a soft but not too soft Sole provides comfort but also stability when walking. The slightly wider sole at The heel provides good stability and reduces any ankle roll on uneven ground. The collar and the tongue provide a firm comfortable fit to the foot.

There is a good space in the toebox area, providing enough space to wiggle my toes, which should equate to extra space when running

One thing that is evident is that the heel is slightly higher than the front of the shoe and mild downward slope could be fell on my foot.

Overall, I’m very pleased I would buy them again.

My first pair of winter running shoes spurned on by wet feet several days in a row. Seem great so far. Time will tell on the durability but enjoying everything about them so far.

An almost perfect shoe. Good support. Nicely christened. Good grip in the wet but not too heavy for the road. Only thing is they are bit hot if not a very cold today.

recommended for those that do a lot of walking/hiking - and don't like getting feet wet. Durable, but comfortable

This is my 4th pair of goretex trainers. I have had each model. I trialled these originally as I hate having wet feet on a run. I run every morning with Charley and Sidney, my black flat coat retrievers, come rain or shine along part of the Nidd gorge in North Yorkshire. The terrain is undulating and damp. These shoes have been perfect for this run. We run 7 kilometres at 6 minutes per km pace.

Absolutely love the trainers & they are amazing quality but a really small 6, having to return & order the size up even though I had the same trainers in a different colour in the same size?

4 stars because there's always place for improvement, nothing is perfect.
Fit as expected,nice and comfy and very light. Saying is waterproof but haven't tested it yet,but I'm pretty sure they are!
