Nike Shield fabric resists elements like wind and water, so you can resist the temptation to let poor weather keep you from getting after it. An adjustable hood lets you find the right coverage and fit. A knit balaclava is built into the hood, helping to defend you from the elements. The collar and upper back body is lined with sphere nodes for extra warmth. Built-in knit mittens extend coverage and keep you comfortable in cooler conditions. A vent at the lower rear enhances airflow to help prevent overheating. Zippered pockets store small items.

Review for Nike Shield Women's Running Jacket

I stumbled upon this product when I was looking for a "water-resistant" running jacket. I bought this a while back at the store; recently I wore it on a rainy and windy day in September. It was okay for a short 5k run - I got soaked, but not drenched and it did shield me from the wind. Sizing-wise, I had to purchase a size bigger (L) and M was too tight on my shoulders but then Large ended up too flappy when I was running. In the end, I purchased another Nike trail jacket that I am now more happy wearing.
