The Piedmont Grey/Dusk Violet color shown is NOT reflective of actual product - which is a monochrome grey shoe; the tiger stripes are not darker. Check the same shoe at Zappos for true color combo. ASCIS does not care that the photos are misleading and will still charge the return fee for their error. (Zappos wouldn't do that....).

I have owned dozens of pairs of Asics over the years and these were the first to ever give me blisters. I was disappointed with the fit of these. I wish I had gone up half a size, which is weird because my usual size 7 in Asics is slightly big which is how I like my sneakers. The heel is very stiff and has an inward angle which I suspect caused blisters on my ankles. The laces are too short and the tongue it weird, not sure why but these just don't fit like the Asics I know and love.

The cushions are too much. Very uncomfortable.
I like gel excite 10 but unfortunately it's discontinued

Too expensive for just average comfort. Too wide in front. Can't even try lightly like competitors allow.

I bought these sneakers because I have a slight tear in my plantar fasciitis . They are comfortable and true to size.

I appreciated the service I received on the order of this pair of Asics. My 1st pair seemed to wear quicker than normal. Asics offered me a new pair to replace the damaged ones, as long as it was in the 6 months time frame from when I purchased them. Asics web site made it easy to do warranty request and I was communicated via email from customer service. They sent me a credit along with shipping for a new pair. They fit great!

Asics have been my go to shoe for years. They are just far more comfortable right out of the box and don't require additional cushioned inserts like a lot of other high dollar shoes. I also enjoy the combinations of colors making the shoes more stylish and not boring.

I liked the Excel 10 better. The 11 just isn't as comfortable.

Will buy again. Yes, the laces are too short when using the last grommet. 1/2 inch longer please. Yes, stiffer and less cushioned than my flat feet are used to. However, very very supportive/stabilizing during my 2-3 mile walks. Feet felt great afterward. Terrific shoe for the price. Hoping brighter colors become available in my size.

Good fit and love how light the shoe is! This one fits better than the Kayano.

It's not as expensive as most running/walking shoes, but it meets my needs

I do not like the height of the shoe.
I purchased this for walking but it looks to be too high.
I had the excite 8 previously and used them more than 2 years.
Theses… i am scared to walk in as i feel out of balance.
I am returning these.
I gave it 3 stars since it does look like good quality but it is not for me. I am not used to a sports shoe being like i am wearing heels.

I had been looking for some comfortable shoes without the thick sole for work. These are perfect! Took me a day to break in and it wasn't even uncomfortable on the very 1st day of wearing them.

I ran into some sizing issues with this pair, but despite that they're still a super well made shoe and very comfortable. I under pronate a lot and these shoes are perfect in helping with that.

I ordered a size 8, which is what I wore with the previous model however, theyre too big and I would have been better served getting a 7.5 which is typically what I wear. By the time I figured this out it was too late to return for a smaller size. The toe box is quite big, which is totally fine if you have wider feet. Mine are pretty narrow so there's a lot of dead space. As noted above, still a great shoe, and I remain an asics fan!

I've been walking 20k+ steps a day for 8 months now (weight loss journey), and I bought these shoes about 2 months in. I wear an 11 wide and in 35 years have NEVER found a pair of shoes that fits/supports me this well! The first couple of weeks I was very unsure, as my feet hurt pretty bad (from trying to adjust to shoes that actually fit). Now 6 months (over 3.5 MILLION steps) later, they are just finally wearing down enough to replace. So I'm buying another pair! I walk treadmills, concrete, asphault, dirt trails, etc. They are great for everything! My only complaint is that in 11 wide there is only 2 color options. It's not my fault I have big feet Asics, help the big girls out here!

These shoes are cute and comfortable - but don't offer as much support as the Gel Kayano. They're a good every day out-and-about shoe. The blue fade/cream color is very pretty in person.

I've always worn asics, but I had stopped running so it had been a while since I've purchased a new pair of running shoes. Well these definitely did not disappoint! ASICS has only gotten better! These shoes offer enough support while giving you that extra comfort! I will defend keep coming back!

I wear these generally 5 days a week 8-12 hour days. My feet don't ache after work.

GEL-EXCITE 11 price is bit high but shoe is good .

I typically wear Gel Cumulus and love them! I wanted to try a new sneaker and the Gel-Excite 11 had awesome reviews so I purchased it. I wear 8.5 in the Gel Cumulus and ordered the same size in the Excite. it was too big! But I could tell it was extremely comfortable. My advice might be to size down but other than that , its a great sneaker!

I purchased these instead of my typical Kayano's due to budget restraints. They are comfortable but even with half size up, as I usually get, they fit more perfect than I'd like. I'd say they run a half size small. The tongue movement is an issue. It also has a bulge around the edge of the tongue that is uncomfortable after awhile.

As someone who owns ASICS Gel-Excite 11/PURPLE/ with carbone 11,4/ I can say that they are quality running shoes suitable for recreational running and gym use. They are also a good option for everyday wear. The overall build quality is solid, and they offer a very good balance between price and performance, making them a reliable and practical choice in their category.

The shoes have good arch support, and the insoles are very well cushioned but firm. I wish there were a little more toe room, but my bunion is probably the problem.

This is my second pair of the GEL-EXCITE 11, I absolutely am 100 percent pleased with this shoe. I walk over 10K (my daily goal) steps per day and this is the most comfortable shoe for me. It has great support, is super comfortable and they look really nice.
I will continue to purchase the GEL-EXCITE 11 and I hope they never stop making them!

It seems that every shoe manufacturer is in a contest to see how cushioned and how high of a stack they can do - and it has RUINED shoes. Or the toe box is too slim or they use a sewn in tongue - all horrible. This shoe - PERFECT! I have bad knees so any slip can tweak my knee the wrong way. This shoe is cushioned but firm on the bottom and great ground grip. the toe box is plenty roomy - and finally, instead of the shoes being all too narrow, this is made for a normal width again. If I had to complain, only change I would make is the heel tab should be a bit lower. Other than that, this is really a great shoe.

The Gel Excite is by far and above my favorite of the ASICS lines. I've had every model since the Excite 4, and the versatility and comfort is just unmatched in my book. They're great for inside the gym and for mid-distance running (3-8 miles). I wear them on a combination of surfaces from asphalt and concrete to natural dirt trails, and they just hold up so well under all conditions. The only negative I have is the limited color selection in the 11s than in previous versions. There were SO many color options in the 10 that the limited selection in the 11s just feels like quite the let-down. Honestly though, if ASICs made a waterproof version of these, I would also wear them at work all day in the hospital.

I purchased these for walking. I've bought them before and I think they are a solid shoe. My feet feel comfortable in them as I walk as fast as I can for about an hour. I used to be a runner for 25 years, but for neck problems i started walking instead. I was willing to pay more money for the higher impact I was putting on my body while running, but I feel these are good enough for walking.

I always choose Aasics over any other brand for my feet that must survive hospital shifts.

Great fit, cushion, and support. I wear these for dance, cardio, walking, and strength training.

Much improved upgrade from prior versions. Comfort and fit rank high, true to running size, and cool colors. Reasonably priced compared to other brands.

Comfortable fit with accurate sizing. This is my second pair that I use for both walking and exercise classes.

I have always loved ASICS. I'm a trainer who has worn them for 30 years and have always been most comfortable in ASIC sneakers. I definitely feel like they are not made quite as well as they used too. The tongue doesn't stay put like it always did. The fit is slightly different and most of all the thicker sole I just do not like the feel on my foot. Sometimes the constant need for a company to upgrade ends up being not so good for the consumer. Friends who are trainers are saying the same thing and seeking alternative brands because the quality seems less and the fit and comfort not as good as it always was. Sad, you're loosing so many of us to other brands these last few years. I too will seek to find something more suitable.

I love your products. This is my third pair and I will not by any other brand.

I love running in Asics, as I need a bit more cushion than many other running shoes provide. This is my 3rd pair of Gel-Excite shoes and they are by far the best model! They are super comfortable and are shaped well in a way that helps launch each step. My previous favorite were the Gel-Kayano 29 (a model from a few years ago), but these Excites are my new fave running shoe from Asics!

These shoes are pure comfort. My gait is so much better after wearing these shoes. I love everything about them.

Wow! I love these shoes. So comfortable for walking. Size 8 shoes always fit me.

I appreciate the true wider toe box of these shoes to keep pressure off my big and little toe side bones! It's still taking me some time to get used to the extra cushion compared to the Excite-9 that I was used to. I prefer the older style, but it wasn't available anymore. That's my only 'not-favorite' thing about these shoes. Other than that, excellent shoe and highly recommend.

I have spent a lot of money on all these now very expensive athletic shoes across several brands. I tried this style because it was "affordable" at half the price. I found these shoes are more comfortable, have better heal and ankle support (the softest cushions cause the ankle and heel to lean or twist). More neutral color options would be great to have. Very happy I tried these.

ASICS is the only sneaker I wear, I have over pronation so many sneakers by the end of a workout, walk or day my feet are killing but not asics I typically wear the keyano and I was so shocked at how expensive they've become must be the tariffs as I'm sure they are made over seas. Anyway, I'd give them 5 stars if the price was better.

I will say the fir and comfort are 5 stars. The color is not pink which is the description color.

So I bought a pair of Gel Excite 10s back in June. LOVED them (still love them), needed a black on black pair of sneakers for work so I wanted the 10's that I knew I loved. Already gone and we're on the 11 now. They are SO stiff and aggressive. The 10's were much softer and comfier. I'm not returning them but they do bother the back of my feet.
