I'm not sure if and where the difference is in this particular version, but I'm disenchanted. I've worn the GT 2000 for years and each version has its character, but I think I'm going to have to find a new shoe. My toes aren't situated comfortably and my feet are more tired at the end of the day than they have been in years; my activity hasn't changed. I don't doubt the quality, but I do think it's time to move on.

I have been wearing the GT 2000's since I was 18 years old (14 years) and this redesign is perhaps the worst. I've only had these shoes for 1.5 months and they have been irritating the bottom of my feet and crunching my toes. I literally just checked my email to see when I ordered these because they're breaking down and I feel like I need a new pair. Because of the new tongue design, the shoe often feels like its not sitting right on your foot. I have to fully untie and relace every time I put them on. The cushion seems to compress unevenly in a way I have never noticed before. After a few miles of running I will feel my feet sliding out to the sides, almost making me over-pronate. Then I have to compensate and it throws my stride off.

Use Asics only if you have pronation issues, i bought a gt2000 13 and its so hard on my heels that my feet is aching just after using it for one day! Sadly i wasted all my money hoping to get a comfy shoe but feels like walking on a rock

Love the shoes, great for my style of running. Asics continues to stand the test of time for me after 35 years of running.

My feet ache in these, I got my feet scanned and got matched to this specific style/ shoe for running. I've ran over 40 miles in them so they're definitely broken in at this point

This is a great walking shoe. It runs true to size and is very comfortable. They are a little warm and take some adjustment but overall I am very happy with this shoe.

I was wearing worn out shoes and my knee was killing me! I had to stop running for a few weeks. I bought these (I already knew these would work for me because I religiously used Asics 2120s back in high school and college). I feel amazing now.

I am so happy with these shoes. They are supportive and comfortable. They fit my orthotics without any issues. I will be buying a second pair.

I've been really happy with these shoes. They are comfortable and provide great support and stability. I use them for exercising and weight training.

Very lightweight, but feel less supportive/sturdy than my GT 2000 13's. Laces come untied easily.

The shoes are great- I only buy Asics. However, these shoe laces come untied during my walks even thought I double not them. Very frustrating (and dangerous, I'm over 80)

I bought these about a month ago and they are so incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well these sneakers fit and how comfortable they were. I would definitely purchase again.

Great running shoe. I'm in my 50's, and this shoe fits well, gives great support, and lasts long. I never have arch, heel, toe, plantar fascia, shin or knee pain with this shoe.

Similar to last year's version except more narrow. I have a narrow foot so it isn't as much a problem, but prefer it to be a bit wider. It's more stable if it's a bit wider.

I prefer earlier models. This one seems plasticy and cheaper, has very little ventilation and so I'm worried that hot summer outdoor exercise will be uncomfortable, and the cheapest laces I've ever experienced. I have to retie them every time I wear the shoes, and that is ridiculous for this expensive of a running shoe.

I've been wearing the GT-2000 for many years and have always loved them, but the 14 feels like a completely different shoe. The roll from heel to toe takes so much effort that my ankles and shins are exhausted a mile into my run. I do like the cushioning on the 14, but overall I'm not enjoying my runs with these and will be looking for a new model.

The GT-2000 14s are extremely comfortable-some of the most comfortable shoes I've tried. I really wanted to love them. Unfortunately, for treadmill running they felt a bit too platform-like, which made me feel slightly unstable, like I might lose my balance. Comfort-wise, they were outstanding, but I don't need another pair of casual shoes in my rotation, so they weren't the right fit for my needs.

My foot is between a narrow and regular and ASICS fit perfectly. I'm on my feet a lot and they provide good support.

Got them a month ago . Love them . Very comfortable to run

I'm recovering from acl surgery and just got cleared for running. This one is great for shock absorption while still being able to feel my feet landing. And sooo comfy!!!!

I have been wearing Gel nimbus for many years. I love this shoe. I am a walker, not a runner, and have put this shoe on right out of the box and walked five miles.

Please add more colorways. gT-2000 12 had the best

I bought these shoes for all around walking. My feet are almost flat and my ankle rolls. I have had no issues walking on sidewalks or the road (which is great!). However, when I went walking on some paths through the woods, my feet began hurting on the outside and the heels. So if you are just walking on sidewalks I would definitely recommend them, but not if you want a variety of walking location options. And as a side note, they are more prone to squeak on linoleum like basketball shoes so on the court, then any other athletic shoes I own.

This is probably my fifth pair of ASICS. They have good support for my high arches and continually improve to make their shoes ever more light and comfortable.

The outside of the shoe was thicker than the past shoes and I feel uneven when I walk and run.

My sister recommended and she was right about how comfortably and stability they're 💯💪. Great for lifting

Great amount of cushioning and wonderful low arch support. Gave me the perfect amount of stability and is surprisingly light weight!

Asics Gt 2000 14 are a great balance between stability and cushioning. Very light weight. The 12's were great but the 13's had too much cushioning and lost the needed stability. The 14's are a good balance between stability and cushioning.

I LOVE these sneakers! They fit great and really help to correct my pronation. Super comfortable, and they put a bounce in my step!

Fit is great, not sure exactly what the changes from the GT-2000 13 are, but they are supportive and even more comfortable.

These shoes may be the best of the best. They have Asics' comfort, quality and support - but better. I even love the color!

The fit seems a little narrower than previous model but length is the same. Wish the heel area had the loop to make it easier to get into the shoe like last one or had the one like is on the new Kayano. With the elastic tongue on the shoe , these changes would help. The ride is great and easier to get forward. Makes you want to run more!

I have bought these before several times. Great quality shoe.

Wanted them to work BUT they ran wide & longer in length than previous yrs. The 13 version came in a narrow unfortunately the store didn't offer that in the new Gt 2000 14 hopefully it will become available. Disappointed.
