The Finer Details

  • Nike ReactX foam in the midsole for extra cushioning
  • Nike placed mesh with tighter woven fabric in high-wear areas, like the toes. Mesh combines with open holes on the upper for breathability. Plus, Flywire technology integrates with the laces to help secure your midfoot.
  • Less rubber along the outsole compared to the previous iteration creates a smooth transition from road to trail while preserving the full-length ReactX midsole. Plus, it wraps around the front of the shoe to provide extra durability. A generative traction pattern combined with rubber in the forefoot provides extra grip for technical trails while maintaining a smooth ride for the road.

Brilliant trail running shoes
Bought these as my first trail running shoes after reading many reviews and settling on a pair that has good comfort/cushioning and is suitable for most types of trails as well as some road running. Tried them on my first 10 mile trail through forest/fields/gravel paths and they were great to run on all kinds of surfaces, including road. Good grip and stability and stayed comfortable throughout the whole run. My feet have been getting a fair battering in recent weeks as I've been running a lot but I didn't feel these on my feet at all through the whole 10 miles. Very happy with my purchase. I'm size 7 in all Nike shoes. I always stick with size 7 even when suggested to size up half a size and it always fits me perfectly in all Nike trainers and running shoes. Size 7.5 always feels too big.

Unbeatable Road-Trail Running Shoe
NiKE never fails you. Take your usual NIKE shoe-size. Runs well on light trail, dirt road and pavement.

Ladies pegasus trail 5 trainers
Love these trainers , so comfy perfect fit I bought 5.5 , I have wide feet so plenty of room in them .i use them for walking so can't comment what they're like for running, they have made such a difference for walking in , so would recommend these trainers.

Best. Shoes. Ever
Disclaimer - I'm not a runner, I bought these as walking shoes (but they did make me feel like running at times).
Originally ordered in my usual size but they were quite tight so went up half a size and they were perfect.
I bought them for holiday, didn't break them in but found them super comfy from the first wear and over several long and steep hikes in the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion and surrounding areas. The cushioning definitely took some of the load off my knees which is something I was also hoping for.
Just great shoes. Love them. Can't wait to get out exploring in them again!

Great road to trail shoe. Love them
I do love the pegasus trail, really like the new colourways and are a great shoe for road to trail in my local area. My only wish would be that the sole was changed to the vibram mega grip and then I think this would be the perfect shoe

Perfect for Hyrox!!
I rely on reviews on I am writing this to hopefully help someone else out.

I bought these trainers mainly for gym wear, classes like HIIT training, treadmill runs etc but mainly Hyrox training as I am competing in a few months.

They are AMAZING. I am a UK 6 and they are true to size, supportive without being tight on the toes. The level of comfort they provide is insane. They are bouncy but not heavy, perfect under heel and toe to sooth away my shin splints I suffered with for so long.

The toe guard is perfect for Burpees and the grip is the best for sled push and pull. I don't do massive runs, mainly 1km intervals and these make me fly, I could run 4km faster pace wise without feeling it in these because they take all impact off my knees from the treadmill.

All the Hyrox recommended trainers were so ugly but these are stylish, amazing colours look the part, not cheap like some trainers.
