I got these for working in retail, and I hadn't seen the reviews until after to I was weary of them being too small and the squeaking being too noisy. I find the size to be nearly perfect, as a UK 5, the overall fitting is exact. The smallness for me, or should I say tightness is towards the back of the foot. If you require a wide shoe then this might not be for you as I don't need one and they are on the tighter side. In saying this, loosening the lace may help but because at the back of the shoe there is harder material compared to the toe of it, it doesn't allow for much flexibility. In saying this, the best word I can find to describe them is 'Snug'. Regardless of the tighter feel to them, I'm sure this will loosen up as I wear them as it can happen with a lot of new pairs of shoes.

You just need to break them in!

As for the squeak, I expected the worst. But upon walking around, there is sound coming from them, but it sounds more like a suction effect over anything. I tried walking on wooded flooring, tiles and outside pavement and it was still present. Upon inspecting the sole of the shoe, there was a slight sticky feel which I think is the issue. It's simply because they are new and it can take time for that feel to wear down. I'll probably get some sandpaper to the end of them and give them a light rub to see if it helps but personally I don't see it as a huge negative towards the shoe.

Wearing black trainers is common in retail and I have heard a lot worse over the years with coworkers where you could hear them coming from the other side of the shop! My partner said they could only hear it when being in close proximity to me.

These were great until they started making a squeaking noise when you walk, after searching online I found I wasn't the only one, I'm gutted, these trainers are so comfortable but embarrassing to walk in

These trainers are very comfortable, right from the first wear. They look great too. Highly recommended as so many shoes rub my heels.

Not the usual quality I'm used to from Nike. Seam coming away just out the box and look rather cheaply made. Put me off buying Nike trainers for working out and switched brands for my footwear after many years.

The shoe is really narrow and the sole is a bit hard. I had expected a lot better quality since I always buy shoes from them.
