So 6 Nations is over and you'd think it has all calmed down, but it hasn't in anyway. Bar the fact that we got a week off after the French game, which was spent moving into the new house, it's been pretty hectic since coming back to Munster. Firstly, moving house is in no way as easy as I thought it was going to be, I'd say I made about 20 trips back and forth from my old house to the new one! I probably should have rented a van so I guess that's my own fault!! After all that slogging around I'm finally settled in. Even though it was alot of work, it's still pretty exciting moving into your first home. Only thing left to do is get the TV up and running next week so we'll be flying it then!

Winning the Six Nations was pretty special, it was great to win it with a group of people that you really get on with and respect so much. I'm sure it won’t be the last bit of success we'll have together all going well. We had a couple of nights of celebrations in Paris and Dublin which was good craic, then it was back to being rivals for another few months when a good few of the us played against each other in the Aviva at the end of March.

I have to give a special mention to the first Mother’s Day spent at my new house. I invited my parents and my older sister over to mine for a meal but unfortunately my younger sister Aisling had to go back to Cork for college so she missed out on a Michelin star meal!! Anyway, I had fully intended on cooking but my older sister Sarah took over in the kitchen so I just had to let her at it which I didn't mind too much!

Have a down day tomorrow so get to chill out, recover and maybe pick up a few more things for the house. I'm here writing this in peace and quiet but Pete won’t stop texting asking me to buy wood off him for my stove, he'd do anything for a few quid that fella! Dave also keeps texting me pics of his new car which he got in Munster Red, he's very happy with it. Phone is now going on silent!

Looking forward to the game against Toulon this weekend, atmosphere should be electric! Back to Blog
