The only thing I would say it's hard to judge the sizes it doent go by ages normally but I did pick a good fit in the end harder than it should be but I understand the different makes are different sizes

They are quite small fitting. My boy is 9 and we bought the medium. We went to store to change it to the XL Junior size. Other that that, all was perfect.
