Excellent shoe
Best Endorphin Speed series since the 2. Somehow the 3 and 4 didn't hit right, but these are on-point. The uppers are very light and breathable, roomy toe box and great cushion/return balance from the foam. I found myself reaching for these by default after 12 runs or so, on short days or longer days.

Fast feeling
very good for speed sessions , very easy to keep legs moving in these shoes. Very good for tempo and intervals on track as well

GOOD shoe (700+ mi spread out across two pairs)
I just purchased my third pair. They are comfortable and "propulsive" for faster paces. My feet are slightly more prone to blisters in these, but nothing toe socks and body glide can't fix. I like how I can feel the ground a little more with this product than the 4s which in my opinion, were far too cushiony. People say it's designed for tempos and speed runs mostly, though I've found it a dependable option for virtually all sorts of running.

Great super trainers
I am a collegiate distance runner and I purchased the Endorphin Speed 5s for tempo, threshold, and interval workouts. They are very bouncy, and soft from the first mile to the last mile. They are very flexible, making them a good alternative to carbon plated shoes. The hexagonal mesh upper is outstanding, especially with its breathability. The midsole is durable, bouncy, and soft. The nylon plate adds some snap and pop to the ride. The outsole is durable and very grippy. XT-900 carbon rubber is the best stuff in the market. To add, the Mutant colorway is super cool, and I get compliments every time I put them on. For the price, these are a great option.

Next level upper
Love the new upper, no scrunching or pinching. This shoe is great for hill and tempo work, my stride stays in line. Lightweight and fun.

One of a kind
In a world where maximum cushioning reigns supreme, be Saucony. These are my first pair of Endorphin Speeds - and definitely not my last. I'm impressed by the energy return, gusseted tongue, and especially the lightweight feel that gives this shoe some serious pop. As someone who favors speed work over long-distance runs, it's hard to find a shoe that strikes the right balance - light enough for quick bursts yet durable enough to keep up. The Endorphin Speed nails it.

Good shoe, but not their best
Good shoe. Sole is not as good as the 3 or 4 but solid stack, well placed rocker for midsole strikers and good for long runs as well as speed work. The upper is very well put together.

Amping up for Speed
Like the weight and the construction of the Speed 5. It did take some time adjusting the shoe and experienced minor issues but nothing from stopping my run or training. Love the feel in the toe box.

Everything is Great
After a Runner's World review, I bought the more highly different brand with the Endorphin Speed 5 as my backup. However, after breaking in and running a few times with the different brand, something was off. It was not adapting to my pronation. It juts did not feel right. After a couple of months, I put on my Endorphin Speed 5. The fit, adaptation, pronation wear was perfect from the first few moments I started wearing it. I was so happy, I bought a second pair in a different color!
