I love Garmin watches, and have been using a Venu 2 SQ for the past couple of years. I loved the accuracy and features of it. When I saw the Garmin Venu 2 plus had ECG, I wanted that feature and I upgraded to a Venu 2 Plus and I am sure glad I did! This watch is over-the-top. It has so many improved features plus all the new ones. The ECG, the speaker for calls and voice assistant, the custom watch faces, I could go on and on. Definitely worth the upgrade. In fact, my husband who has a Venu 2 SQ was so impressed with my watch that he also upgraded to a Venu 2 Plus!

I've charged it twice in the 3 weeks I've had it, and didn't need to! Ecg app is wonderful

6 months using in cycling, hiking, sleep tracking is perfect.

The ECG application is awesome

I got it for Xmas and have used it since. I don't like that it isn't compatible with iPhones. You can't text back from it. I don't like it like I loved my Apple Watch

I got this watch because of the phone calling integration right on my wrist. While riding my bike, I can talk to anyone on my contact list, as long as Google Assistant is set up correctly. Later, after having heart issues from coronary heart disease, I found the HR and ECG app to be useful in monitoring for A-Fib post surgery. Works great for riding my bike for less serious rides where I can leave my Garmin head units at home. Tracks hikes well too. Live Track and Incident Detection integrated if set up correctly in Garmin Connect. The watch looks clean with nice display to wear all day at the workplace. Cons: Buttons and screen wipes are not easily intuitive. Their functions change depending upon what screen you are on. It took a lot of practice to become proficient. Some functions are "apps" you need to add to your list (like the ECG app), while other functions show up by swiping the clock face. I find that confusing. I'm supposed to be able to see my screen by turning my wrist or double tapping the watch face, but it only works about 1/2 the time. Always wakes up ok when pressing the top button, but that's inconvenient. Leaving the watch on all the time would fix that, but I love the long battery life by only waking it up when I need it. Overall, I still think I got a good deal on the model close out price before they released the Venue 3.

Sleep is not accurate, along with heart rate and calories during the day. Including during exercise and battery life has gotten worse. I loved it at first, still like just wish it was more accurate with everything. And battery life good, GPS is good along with running metrics are good

I switched over to Garmin from Fitbit. I work out just about every day. Typically a mix of workouts, including Elliptical, Running, Biking, Weights, Ab Training. Heart rate is hit and miss at times, Garmin Connect is typically down once a month or so. Features are great, but most of the time just use Strava to record workout and enter manually.

I bought my Venu2 Plus two years ago and it is doing well I am totally pleased with this product.

The watch does not function correctly. It does not read my pulse rate

Reliable, high quality fitness watch with more features than I will ever know. As a fitness watch, I use it to track my cardio workouts plus daily steps & stairs climbed. But it is also an indispensable companion. Temperature is a quick glance away. With my phone often in a pants pocket, I don't always hear the ringer or alerts. But the Venu notifies me of all that is important to me.

I bought this watch about one month ago over an Apple Watch. Glad I did. Battery life between charges is amazing going on 9 days+ between charges. Features are great and the health information on the watch have changed my day to day activities for the better. The watch is very light making it easier to sleep with to monitor sleep habits. And the available bands allow to dress up or down the watch for any occasion. The phone capabilities are great - no problem talking to or hearing people on the watch speaker. So happy with my purchase and would not change a thing.

El reloj es bastante comodo, resistente y robusto, su fabricación tiene buenos materiales y la pantalla es muy clara, nitida y con excelente resolución, la vibración de la notificaciones es bastante cómodo así como los sonidos de las alarmas, el único detalle es que ne muchas ocasiones no se reciben todas la notificaciones aun cuando el teléfono y el reloj están conectados, al alcance y con todas ellas activas. En general muy buen equipo y buena compra. Recomendado.

Great product, expensive but the quality and features are great.

I bought this watch and after six month I scratch the screen a bit and here in Colombia the official seller cant repair it or replace it obviously paying a fee, so, it basically I would need to buy another expensive one, its a shame.

I recently switched from fitbit to garmin. It does have more applications than fitbit. Only had it 2 weeks. Like it so far

Took a while to learn *all* the features (two weeks in and and I still have a bit to learn). But easy to use, provides excellent stats on both the watch on the Connect app.

Was able to quickly add my favorite activities - Tennis, Pickleball, Spinning, Rowing machine, etc. and put them in order right on the watch.

I have been very pleased with the features and GPS and workout tracking.

I have it less than a month. Still learning full usage. Very happy at this point

I bought this watch about a month ago. I really like the features- the display is sharp with good color, the workout options are great, and there's plenty of useful info. Unfortunately my watch glass broke while doing yard work. In fairness it does appear something small hit the glass, but I don't recall striking anything. I've worn other watches which I know have received hard hits that had less damage than this watch. It does still work so that's a plus.

….of a smart watch while being totally health focussed. The battery life is outstanding, allowing constant monitoring for days without having to remove and recharge. Tons of different watch faces to choose from.

Bought this about 4-5 months ago now and I absolutely love it!!! It does everything I need it to do! I mostly use the walking, heart monitoring, O2 saturation feature and things along those lines. Not a runner or anything like that but I do monitor my sleep also and it seems pretty consistent with how I feel when I get up. Helps me with alternating my habits to improve my sleep as well. The only issues I have is figuring out how to get my exercise biking time to read on the cycling or as steps and it seems like it doesn't count all of my stairs correctly. We live in a two story house with a basement and my washer and dryer are in the basement and I don't usually meet my stairs goal which seems impossible! LOL!

I enjoy my Garmin pro plus so much that we got one for my mom, who is not tech savvy, and she LOVES it! She has no problem using it, can send texts, make calls on it and everything! Never takes it off! By the way, she is 76 years old so anyone can use it! Best product on the market!!! Highly recommend this product!!!!!!!!

With a few weeks of casual use, I like the watch, and I'm glad I bought it. I bought it in part to monitor for Afib, which seems to work well. I also like the long battery life and the large readable watch face. I still need to try many of the other features, though I did answer my phone with it once. So far, the one thing I don't like is the band. It is too hard to put on and to take off.

I have had my watch for about 4 months now and it's great. The only thing odd is that it always says I have too much stress. I don't feel stressed but maybe it knows something I don't. I use the gps feature almost every day and I still only have to charge it once a week. It charges very fast too.

I was reluctant to move away from fitbit, loved my fitbit. I am now a garmin fan! Should of moved over years ago, love all the options on my garmin watch. The interface is easier to use than fitbit and I like tracking my hr and sleep.

For context, I had the forerunner 265 before this and took it back to get the Venu 2 plus. I started running again, and my original Vivoactive wouldn't hold a charge more than a day with GPS off, so I looked for a replacement. All the reviews said the FR265 was the watch to buy. And it is a great watch, but for me I liked the idea of the better connectivity with the Venu 2 Plus. So REI was glad to take back the FR265 and sell me the Venu 2 Plus. In the time since, I have run, hiked and swam with this watch. I like everything it has on-board software wise, and it's easier to navigate IMO than the FR265. The only thing I don't like is Garmin's choice of glass. Gorilla Glass 3 was introduced to the world in 2013! Ten year old glass on one of Garmin's better models. And, although it might be better than regular tempered glass, mine already has scuffs and scratches from normal wear (I take it off when I'm at work). This wouldn't be a big thing if they offered reasonably priced screen repair. But, the only thing that they offer is a $160 swap. Now to be fair to Garmin, they do send you a brand-new watch and not a refurbished like a lot of tech companies (Samsung) . Still, for a $450 watch, I really expect more durability, especially since this is a "fitness" watch that will be used when working out. And really, anything where you touch or swipe the screen should be protected better.

I bought the Garmin 6 weeks ago after many many years with another smartwatch brand. They always last about a year or two and then start failing, so I decided to try a Garmin.

The garmin is nice but the face of the watch scratches super easily. One pays a lot of money for a garmin over the competitors, so one would think they would have scratch resistant glass but if so, mine sure isn't effective. I am super disappointed and wouldn't buy another Garmin. It looks worse than any of my previous 2+ year old smartwatches.

Just got the watch to find out that Garmin is not interested in having it best selling features work in Canada

It stopped telling the time accurately, lost its watch face, and couldn't reconnect with my phone after I tried to reset it to get it to work properly

I paid a lot of money for this watch to discover that you can not use the ecg feature in the uk, what a rip off.

Upgraded from my Venu. All the previous features and then some. Had to contact customer service to establish ECG app -- and response was outstanding! Takes more music than the old watch. Thought the watch face would be a little bit smaller but have no problem seeing it when running/golfing. The only potential drawback seems to be the battery life -- tells you how many "days" left (on the clock face I use) but they go by pretty fast! All in all -- I love it.

I mainly wanted a watch for receiving text and phone calls and how many steps taken each day. I am replacing an old competitor watch. This has a lot more. It looked complicated at first, however, with all the garmin you tube videos, it was easy to set up. I called support due to a feature I could not find. I was called back very quickly and John was able to walk me through everything to get my watch updated and feature working. 5 stars to Customer Support! I think I will enjoy this watch very much. I will use more features than I expected to.

This watch is the perfect balance between smart watch and activity tracker. It definitely checks all the boxes with great battery life and functionality!

Very happy with my watch. It was easy to set up, the battery life is great. It's comfortable to wear.

I have used Garmin devices for a number of years (Dakota 10, Forerunners, and a number of other devices). They have all served me well in tracking running, biking, and other activities. The latest purchase of the Venu 2 Plus is a nice addition to my collection. It has worked well and adds the ability to let me answer the phone easily while hiking or biking.

I purchased because I wanted to be able to get calls and respond to messages. I didn't understand the text message response isn't a custom response but from a chosen list (that can be customized). When I take a call using the watch it is very hard for people to hear me and sometimes it doesn't connect. This just isn't what I expected. I should have done more research about it. I am hoping there is an upgrade that will allow more flexibility in the future.

Otherwise, I love this watch and all of the other features.

Bought the Venu as a smartwatch and was very happy with it. Intuitive, easy to understand, and very useful for running as well as all around information. The unlimited clock faces one can download really offer loads of additional smart watch information. So this Venu 2 Plus is all that and much more. The amoled screen is much brighter, and there are more apps to choose from, to include an ecg monitor. I can now receive phone calls from my wrist, as well. This Venu 2 plus is an upgraded, more polished update/upgrade from the Venu, and it can hold its own against any smartwatch on the market. Because it's a Garmin, it's also an excellent fitness watch. Its fitness options are almost endless. Virtually any kind/type of health or fitness information is at wrist's length.

This is my 5th Garmin sports watch in ~15 years the most recent being a Fenix 5 Plus. I have also had 3 Apple Watches. I wanted to upgrade to get the AMOLED screen but felt the Epix 2 was overkill due to the price and elite athlete features vs my fitness level (highly active indoors and out vs competitive) . The Apple watches are essentially garbage because of fragility, < 24 hour battery life, fitness device ecosystem, etc. The Venue 2 Plus is a great alternative if like me, you are active but not an elite or competitive athlete but want a premium smartwatch experience and screen but don't want or need to pay $1,100 USD for the Epix 2

Great product for tracking vitals and exercise for easy visual conformation.

Nice watch, does a lot of things nicely, but once a week during my run the distance stops increasing even though I'm running. GPS still accurately tracks my run and looks right on my activity but the distance is completely wrong. Never had that problem with my old vivoactive three. Makes it almost impossible to reliably run somewhere else since there's a chance the distance won't be accurate and I'll have no idea how far I ran. I've ran every day for over three years with a Garmin and I've never considered using my old watch til this one, it's super disappointing. If that one problem was fixed it'd be my favorite watch but it's a pretty big problem.

I've been running with Garmin watches for many years and, as I expected, the Venu 2 Plus is the best yet. The addition of the ECG feature gave me sufficient justification to upgrade from my original Venu, which is still working well.

The brilliant display and the amazing battery life of the 2 Plus makes it superior to any other sport swatch out there.

It's a good watch for people caring for health while maintaining their busy life. It gives you challenges and keeps motivating to improve your work outs. Though you get notifications on watch but cannot respond through it. It's only drawback I noticed else everything is better than the what Apple Watch provides with.

Great battery life and tracking, it is very light its like wearing no watch.

I use the Garmin Venu 2 plus to track my fitness activities, like hiking, trail running, walking, and indoor cycling. It can keep track of many other activities too. I can store music and listen to it from my watch. I can make and answer calls for my watch like "Inspector Gadget". By the way, I watched that cartoon growing up. I have no negative comments to share. I really enjoy the watch.

I am still learning all that this watch has to offer. So far I am enjoying the accuracy of the GPS and health tracking benefits
