Great watch
I bought this watch about a month ago. I switched from an Apple Watch and I love the watch. If you are athletic or are prioritizing a fitness watch over smart watch then this watch is for you. Pro: sleep tracks, very accurate for running and cardio activities with stats tracking which is great. Cons: can't reply to messages or make phone calls. Strength training activity isn't as accurate as I would like.

Wow, I was missing out
I have fallen head over heels for this watch. It can do so much more than my old Fitbit. I love how many features it tracks and are available FOR FREE! I don't know why I didn't think of Garmin first. Now, I am hooked and a life long Garmin consumer.

Still getting used to it
I've had the Vivoactive 3, and this is a great improvement. The display graphics are much better and it tracks a lot more information. Still, I'm a little disappointed that the 5 DOESN'T keep track of the number of flights of stairs climbed.

Very happy with the vivoactive 5!
I love my vivoactive 5 so far. I previously had the Forerunner 245 and I love it too, but you can't beat the AMOLED display for its vivid colors and easy readability. I also wanted the open water swim feature, and I'm looking forward to trying it out this spring/summer. The vivoactive 5 is a great multipurpose watch at an excellent price point.

Love the features
So I've had this watch for a few weeks now and I very much enjoy it. I previously had an Apple Watch but my husband convinced me to go with garmin. It has a lot more to offer than apple. The only thing I don't like is if there is a wall between me and my phone it will disconnect. Other than that I love it.
