Great improvements over previous Vivo models
This is a very nice fitness tracker with numerous features beyond the Vivosport that I have enjoyed using for many years, but which Garmin apparently refuses to update since 2017. It lacks the built-in GPS of the Vivosport, and I have been avoiding trackers that depend on the GPS of my phone in case I want to track distance without my phone. But, hey, I always seem to have my phone, so what does it matter? Maybe a little bit: I have a frequently used walking route that my Vivosport and Google Maps say is exactly a mile. But when I use the Vivosmart with my phone GPS, it consistently says it is 1.12 miles. There is something to be said about having built-in GPS. The Vivosmart makes up for that with many features my Vivosport lacked. Like a dedicated Yoga tracker. No more do I have to edit my daily Yoga in Garmin Connect to change "other" to "yoga." The heart rate is accurate, at least for now. It had been in my Vivosport, but failed 2 years ago, requiring me to purchase a replacement, and recently the HR readings were much too low, which encouraged my purchase of the Vivosmart 5. Sleep tracking is much more detailed, which I greatly appreciate. The only thing I struggle with is tapping sensitivity. I often have to tap on the tracker many times before it responds, and this never happened on the Vivosport. So, I would not call the Vivosmart 5 perfect, but I am satisfied with it and happy to be able continuing to track my activities and statistics with Garmin Connect.

Don't care for
Fortunately I did not have to purchase it myself. I got it with no cost to me.

The face of the Vivio is not wide enough; the size of lettering/numbers too small. ( with the exception of the time). Battery life is less than 24 hours. I would have returned it had I paid for it

Awesome Trolling motor!
This Trolling Motor was very easy to install and get setup and updated. It's seems to be very well built and a lot of thought put into the features and use of the unit. Well done Garmin!

Unable to update the software
I bought my Force trolling 2 yrs. ago along with two 9" chart plotters and now it needs a connectivity software update which is a convoluted mess to attempt to do. Customer service told me I didn't really need to do it. I don't like the trolling motor. It's continually doing weird things without my command. I won't buy another Garmin product.

Set up directions are terrible
When I follow the directions to add a widget to display on my watch, it never works. Very frustrated with this watch.

Big features in a small watch!
I had purchased a different brand which was much too big for my tiny wrist… In fact, it looked like a man's watch. My Garmin fits perfectly with Notches left over. I really like knowing how many steps I have taken in a day, and the fact that it notifies me when my phone has received a message. Also, I love the mint green band!

Easy to figure out!
I was unhappy times 100 with my NEW Fitbit which broke after two months. So. Ordered a Garmin under advice from lifer! It's easy to install and I can use just the features I want- which aren't many. I love that the bands are attached to the device. Stuty material and easy to east to wear. Battery charges quickly and the charge lasts a long time. So far- all's great.

Good upgrade from Vivosmart 4
Got the Vivosmart 5 because my Vivosmart 4's battery was running short, the screen was scratched and it would not automatically sleep. The Vivosmart 5's battery runs a couple of days longer which is nice. It has a bigger, brighter screen. Screen sensitivity is somewhat of an issue but not bad.
