For the 2022 kit, the French Football Federation (FFF) celebrates the evolution of the France Nouveau (New France) and the fusion of the country's heritage and future – fueled by diversity. The 2022 home kit pulls inspiration from France'sFrance's heritage and future, combining classic French themes with modern aspects of the nation. Further bringing in classic French elements in a new way, the kit features a tricolour insert on the short, a jacquard sock and cuff, and gold detailing throughout. The away kit represents all of France through a symbolic graphic print. Inspired by French toile de Jouy, the unique, all-over print features classic French elements from across the country. Much like the home kit, tricolour notches are found on the shirt and shorts, while a subtle ''Nos differences nous unissent'' (Our Differences Unite Us) graphic is added to the jersey's collar.
