The Finer Details

  • GORE-TEX along the upper helps your feet stay dry from precipitation without sacrificing that comfortable feel of the Peg Trail. Its flexible, lightweight design helps keep out the rain when running between the wet roads and trails.
  • Less rubber along the outsole creates a smooth transition from road to trail while preserving the full-length React midsole. The rubber outsole wraps around the front of the shoe to provide extra durability. A generative traction pattern combined with rubber in the forefoot provides extra grip for technical trails while maintaining a smooth ride for the road.
  • Nike React technology is a lightweight, durable foam that delivers a smooth, responsive ride. Its full-length design provides stability as you brave rocky terrain.
  • Updated materials around the ankle help ensure water and trail debris don't get into the shoe.

First time use review - 6k trail run.
So this review is based off first run experience but these shoes were absolutely perfect in wet and windy conditions. A 6k trail run on a mixture of road, gravel and mud and the grip was impressive. They're really comfortable and have good support around the heel & ankle. After the run they were covered in mud! I hosed them down with cold water and all the dirt came away with ease. Impressions for a 1st time use is definitely 5/5.

Great shoe but grips run down quickly
Great shoe. Very comfortable. Can take a down pour. Supportive but still nice bounce in the sole. Only issue that stops it from getting 5 stars is that the grips run out far too quickly. I'm 3 months in and they're almost run out

Very comfortable
I have not bought a running/trail shoe for some time. I decided to get back into some trail runs and as I have some other Nikes for the gym I was confident in buying the correct size online. There appears to be some fabulous cushioning to the rear and heel areas. The additional cover and support around the top of the ankle feels good and I imagine will also assist when going through wet areas. Its early days but so far I have been impressed with this shoe. Love the colour scheme and here is to some future runs off road

Really comfy and keep your feet dry
These are fantastic running shoes. They are very comfy with a soft, spongey sole and really does keep the water out. They keep my feet dry when running and walking in the rain and puddles. They also don't make my feet overheat. The sizing is small though and I would definitely recommend going at least half a size up from your usual Nike size. The only annoying thing about these shoes is the stupid sticker that is stuck randomly on the insole. It is impossible to remove and there was the exact ultra-sticky label in my last pair of Trail 3 trainers. Please, Nike, use sticky temporary labels than peel off easily,

Super exciting shoes
The shoes are amazing, I super enjoy running and training in them. Super comfortable and cool looking. And also theyre WATERPROOF! which means I can easily clean them and not worry that they'll get ruined when they get wet. Very happy

The best running shoes I had
Amazing shoes for running and jogging. They are light, smooth and very comfortable. Just got them this week and I'm very pleased how good these are. Totally recommend it to anyone for exercising and running.
