Nike designed them using insights from trail runners like you, with a breathable feel and a shape that helps keep you moving on those epic runs. We know you want to bring your outdoor essentials with you, so Nike added plenty of pockets—as in 7 pockets—to keep all your gear close and secure.

Nike Dri-FIT technology moves sweat away from your skin for quicker evaporation, helping you stay dry and comfortable.
Breathable woven fabric feels smooth and cool. Side vents were designed with the trail athlete in mind, giving you room to move as you navigate the outdoors. A brief liner adds breathable support without hindering motion.
With 7 pockets to choose from, you'll have plenty of storage. The 2 drop-in pockets can hold a key or card. 2 larger side pockets and 2 zippered hand pockets can hold pre- and post-run gear, and the back pocket is big enough to hold a phone.

Better for training than racing

Size small weigh 165g. I don't normally weigh my shorts but they're noticeably heavier and I wanted to check. Most of my others are circa 115g. If you want those pockets for gels etc. when racing then you'll be able to find lighter shorts that do the same job. Extra star if intended for training and not racing.
