Displeased with the snug fitting. No room for hoodie or anything underneath the coat.

Fits true to size. Thought I may need a large but a medium was a perfect comfortable fit for me. I would take into account what your layering habits are, too. Usually I have a merino wool shirt, and a 1/4 zip dri-fit pull over if I am walking 20min to work in 25 degree weather and I am usually warmed up by the time I reach my destination. I find that if I am doing activities I can overheat, although I wore it snowshoeing in 15 degree weather and was fine.
Pros:keeps me warm in temperatures between the 20's and 30's. Anything over that I over heat (wouldn't recommend for the 40s unless you run cold or need to account for windchill).
-Packs down much better than you would think. A good compression stuff bag is what I recommend for traveling with this. It will make your life so much easier when packing a suitcase or backpack.

Cons:It is not the best for wet conditions unless you have a rain gear coat to wear over it which I have worn comfortably on a spitting sleet day in the 30s and was outdoors all day. I find that it keeps the wind out well on its own.
- There is no internal pockets, which would be nice for phones and gloves.
-I also wish winter coats had a standard of thumb holes on the sleeve to keep wind out and close gaps when wearing gloves. All in all, I would still recommend it.

This Jacket is really warm and the colors are exactly as pictured. I bought this jacket in the blue and normally wear an XL in columbia Jackets but I sized up so I can layer under the jacket. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a hood and Omi heat. Otherwise it is a great Jacket for the price and stylish.
