The Nike Team Hustle D11 trainers are the ultimate shoes for kids who play basketball or just need an everyday pair of trainers. It's great that they are easy to get on and off and super comfortable. They are really well made, feel quality and like they are built to last!

Really comfy shoes for my daughter, but I recommend buying half a size up as they were a little tight along the top of the shoe for her.

She loves playing basketball in the garden but these are also appropriate for riding her bike and general riding around. She loved the feel of the shoe wearing them though, they were really comfortable.

Personally, I love the design, I love the little touches that are not visible for people looking at the shoe there's a basketball underneath the velcro strap that nobody would be able to see apart from whoever is putting on the shoe. The shoes go with everything that she wears and have a good grip, she wasn't flying around everywhere when she had them on.

As I mentioned the shoes were the right size but they were a little tight around the top at the front so it wasn't something that could be adjusted for her. I would recommend ordering a half a size over what you are looking for.

I am always happy for function over design and these are good quality shoes which have a comfortable spongy interior and if they keep my daughter's feet safe then that's all that matters.

My 3 year old has been wearing these trainers for a few weeks now.
Off the shoe looks long and I wasn't impressed at first. But once I put the trainer on they looked a lot better. Plus the trainers are easy to put on and take off. Always a massive plus when it comes to younger children's trainers.
How I know my son likes the trainers- when told to go get some trainers to wear he has chosen these a good amount of times. When asking him how they feel he says good, also means they must be comfortable because he will moan about socks not being right. When feeling the shoe while on my son they don't appear to squeeze the foot.
The trainers are tough as well had a few scraps and no visible marks, they also wipe clean.

My little boy is 6 and still struggles to tie his own shoe laces. These trainers are great as he can put them on himself without any help! He said they're the comfiest ones he's got so that's definitely a bonus.

They're black and what we love is that they've not creased or anything and have maintained the shape etc. would definitely recommend these for any kids that need the velcro option.

Under the strap there's a basketball logo which he loves too! 

These shoes have been perfect for my daughter for school PE lessons!
The first selling point was the colour, as she needs neutral coloured shoes, and in mostly black with a bit of white, these fit the bill.

The next big selling point for us is having easy velcro fastening. These have fixed elastic laces, with a nice chunky velcro strap, which my 5 year old daughter was able to do herself. She did say that they felt tight to put on and she struggled a bit to get her foot in. I'm hoping this will loosen up as she wears them, but that's my reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5.

Overall, the shoes are really lovely. My daughter loves the little details, like the velcro in the shape of a basketball. She says they're very comfy to run around in, and had really good grip, even on a shiny floor.

The fit was quite narrow making them feel slightly tight.

The design is fantastic, very stylish to wear out playing

Fabric is soft and durable feel they will last the rough and tumble childs play!

i like the velcro strap to make them easy for a child to put on and the basketball logo. Would change the fit to slightly wider as they do feel quite narrow

My daughter (9) loved the look of these as soon as she seen them. She especially thought the basketball under the Velcro strap was cool and how the Velcro goes across. They are easy to get on and off due to the Velcro and are very comfortable and fit true to size. My daughter wears these for playing out with her friends on her bike and scooter and are perfect for that. Overall my daughter loves the look and style of these the most and said she wouldn't change anything about them :-)

Shoes look good and seem durable. These are for a 6 year old and sometimes find these shoes harder to put on than smaller non high top style shoes. Laces on left shoe are slightly long and don't look as good as the other shoe. Style is nice for kids shoes and velcro strap is ideal but laces still make her feel like she's wearing bigger girls shoes.

As for improvements, a wider range of colour options could potentially be a good idea.

Great fit with breathable material. Big velcro fasting is idea for young children. Great design.

The simplistic black and white colour scheme means not only are these trainers incredibly stylish, they're also suitable for my child to wear to school, as they meet the uniform requirements of being predominantly black.

The fit is great, elastic combined with the velcro strap ensures the feet stay locked in and your child remains comfortable no matter the activities they get up to. Because of that secure fit, you can purchase these a couple of sizes up from your child's current size and they're wearable from day one. Providing excellent value for money as your child can wear them for longer as their feet grow into them!

The one down-side is that the soles were a little slippy for the first couple of wears outside, but once worn in they're much grippier and perform great.

Overall an excellent trainer for children, whether they're playing basketball, climbing trees, running around or just chilling!

My daughter has been wanting a pair of basketball shoes since going to watch her first game a little while back. This shoe looks really great with a classic mid/high top design, and the black and white goes with pretty much everything. There's a really cool little touch on the velcro as well, with the velcro pad designed to look like a basketball!!
The quality and materials seem really solid. My kids tend to scuff up their shoes pretty quick but, there isn't a mark on them so far since she's been running around in them. There's a little bit of frayed stitching on one of the swoosh logos but it's not overly obvious.
The only real issue I've found is the opening/collar to the shoe is pretty snug when she tries to put them on. It's loosened up a bit and seems to be getting easier, but she still needs some help to get them on sometimes. She's only 5 though so it's not a big deal. Could be an annoyance for some though. Otherwise, we're really happy with them.

I got the shoes for a very active 6 year old boy, who has decided he wanted to play basketball in the school holidays. First impressions of the shoe were great. They look amazing and the velcro strap really helps getting them on and off. I was impressed that once fastened the strap stayed closed. I thought it might keep popping open when he ran but this has not been the case. In terms of size I would recommend going a size up. I got the shoe in my son's normal Nike size but they were a little tight around the heel. I really like the design of the shoe. I know it shouldn't matter, but he was the best dressed on the U6 court. The sole of the shoe feels comfortable, responsive and appears to grip the court well. In the words of a 6 year old, the shoe is super bouncy! He said that the shoes felt like marshmallows on his feet and made him jump higher. I am not sure about either of his claims but he definitely loves the shoe. He has been wearing them casually as well now and they look great with shorts. The quality of the shoes is good but after only a few weeks wear, they are showing signs of creasing and there are a few loose threads, so I'm not sure how durable the shoes will turn out to be. Overall, I would recommend the shoes for any child who wants to look cool on or off the court.

As a daily wear for a very active 4 year old, this shoe ideal. The quality is impressive and it's clearly robust enough to withstand the test of an active boy. Whilst not endeared by the look online, they look much better in the flesh and our son loves the Swoosh velcro in addition to the elastic laces. They are quite tight and can be frustrating to get on - he won't get them on alone - but once on they are comfortable and secure. Overall, very happy and would buy a basketball-type show for him again.

My son adores these trainers. The black colourway is a classic, and always a good choice for a child who can go from 0-filthy in about 5 minutes when it comes to clothes and trainers. He especially loves the hidden basketball under the velcro strap.

The trainers are well made and extremely durable. In the time I have had them they have been thrashed around the basketball court, football pitch, climbing frames and longer walks and held up to it all impressively. Materials feel of a good quality and remain both soft but supportive. The outsole is grippy enough in all conditions we have come across and the midsole is soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to ensure they are long lasting. The mid-height gives extra ankle support and the elasticated laces, heel/tongue pull tabs and velcro strap mean he's completely independent in taking them on and off too, which is always a bonus.

I am always looking for the next pair of trainers to add to my child's rotation that I know will be versatile, durable and comfortable for everything he can throw at them. These are perfect!

Fantastic pair of kids shoes. Really really stable on the ankle which is something that lacks in a lot of children's sneakers.

Son absolutely loves the fact he can use the Velcro himself which looks like the Nike swoosh rather than just boring tabs.

Comfy sole and really durable toe cap which is showing zero wear despite being worn for an assortment of child like activities.

My little boy loves these, he won't take them off, the styling is great, they feel good and he loves running around in them, look cool and stylish and great for playing sports

Very comfortable but also feel like the feet are well protected, mainly the ankles.
Especially love the on trend style and 'backwards' swoosh on the straps!
Mono colours are a go to, can be worn with many outfits.
Size wise they are perfect, not too large or small. Normal size is needed.
The ease of putting them on and off is amazing, with the elastic laces and hidden strap that goes from the inner side of the feet….it's a 10/10 from my 4 year old!!

The Nike Team Hustle D 11 shoes are slightly big (only slightly) meaning he has a little room for his feet to grow and wiggle around compared to similar Nike shoes of the same size which are a little more "snug".

My little one really likes the design of the strap compared to other velcro shoes he's had from Nike. The velcro comes across to the inside making it feel moke secure. The easy elastic laces around the high opening were a little difficult - until I showed him how to use the heel pull & where to hold the tongue when putting them on and now he slips them off and on with ease.
The height of the shoes feel more secure for him especially around the ankleand he really likes the cushioning and comfort (preferring to try and wear these to play football in over his Nike Mercurial trainers).

The fabric seems to be a mix between real and synthetic leather, but they are very lightweight and flexible and easy to move in. The sole of the shoes are fully rubber and completely flat with a basketball design imprinted around halfway up.

The only thing that my little one thought of changing was a design aspect and having an orange basketball when you open the velcro strap however he said this could be done on a version that wasn't the black and white colour way.

A bit chunkier than we'd usually purchase for him but an increase in comfort and durability have made these his favourite pair of trainers.

When these arrived my energetic 3 year old was very excited to get these trainers on. Immediately he was drawn to the large cross over strap with basketball shaped Velcro pad. This is a lovely touch and every time he puts them on he refers to them as his basketball trainers. On the fit, the trainers are true to size, due to the sporty and futuristic style they are slightly chunkier than other trainers. This, however, has not hindered my child at all, he still zooms all over the place with the help of the secure strap. The black and white colourway is classic and versatile so would suit any wardrobe. The white outline on the Nike swoosh against the black background gives it an almost 3D effect, much to the delight of my toddler. Overall his favourite feature is the style of the trainer, he loves to show them off to anyone that will look! The only drawback we have found is that due to the sturdiness of the ankle padding it could be harder for a child with a wider foot/ankle to put them on.

Got these trainers for my daughter (age 5) for her school PE kit. She loves them! She has said they feel big but she likes that. What is a really nice touch is that the Velcro patch on the shoe is made to look like a basketball and my daughter loved that and insisted I get her a basketball to match it. Overall I'm really happy with these trainers they give great support around the ankle and look really good. Also areas where a child might scuff their feet look to be strong and hard wearing. After a week of wearing these none stop before she goes back to school they still look brand new.

My 7 year old son loves these trainers! They fit true to size and are very easy for him to put on by himself due to the elastic laces and big strap to fasten them. He especially likes the detail of the basketball on the fastening and sole which enhances the look of the shoe.

They are very comfy, well made and have a hard wearing sole with great grip. I've no doubt these will last a long time.

They are now his go to trainers for days out, trips to the park and also look good with any outfit. Would highly recommend!

My son absolutely adores his Nikes and always wants a new pair. These are really cool the velcro fastening is very stylish and a great addition. They are comfortable and luckily last well as he is hard on his shoes for his scooter and bike. Always outside playing so need a hard wearing trainer like these and they look good too!

They felt good on feet and didn't feel like they would fall off. I enjoyed the basketball design on the velcro as well as the strap itself. It made the trainer fun to put on. (As the adult putting the trainers on, it was a little tough as they are a snug fit, but the pull tabs helped and once they were on they were fine. Not having to do up laces made it a lot more convenient too.) The fabric seems comfortable and hard wearing. The thick rubber on is a plus along with the overlay on the toe area. I would have enjoyed a colourway that stood out a little more, with maybe some pink on the swoosh. My favourite part of the trainer was the velcro strap.

A bit on the tight side to actually get on but a perfect fit and very comfortable once his feet were in them.
The straps make sure they can be adjusted easily.
Material seems easy to keep clean.
The white against the black background really popped.

My son, who's 5 and a half, has these trainers in UK size 13. At the moment, he is in between sizes, so they are a bit bigger than his actual size. With slightly thicker socks, they wear perfectly. The thing he loves most about the shoes is the design, especially the diagonal velcro which reveals a nice surprise, a basketball. The fabric is comfortable and durable, and the best part is that these trainers are very easy to put on, even by a 5 year old.
