I am a huge fan of Nike and it keeps surprising me every season with excellent shoes. I couldn't say no to Air Max TW. They look fantastic but feel even better! First of all, the Air Max TW are true to size. In my opinion, whatever size you go normally, stick with it. The side and top panels of the shoes are made of nylon mesh and the design and look of it looks pretty cool, almost like holographic. The back of the shoes has a lot of padding making them very comfortable to wear. The air bubble ensures all day comfort and stability for the feet. There is a lot of flex in the forefoot, which provides very smooth heel-to-toe transition. The design is absolutely fantastic: bright colors, eye catching patterns - they truly stand out in the crowd. Absolutely recommend to anyone!

I'm thrilled to share my experience with the Nike Black Air Max TW 2 shoes. The fit and feel of these shoes are simply fantastic. They offer a snug and supportive fit without sacrificing comfort. Very broad outsole means that it's a comfortable shoe for long days with no soreness to feet after long periods wearing them. I commonly find majority of Air Max style to be narrow around the toe box, but these shoes generously accommodated my broad feet, should run true to size. Some broad feet my have difficulty putting these shoes on due to the elasticated tongue integreated into the upper. Due to the mesh in the upper, this shoe may not be suitable for school shoe alternatives, so check with your official uniform guidelines. I'm a massive fan of the retro 90s aesthetic. Have worn this shoe for full travel days, standing at sports events and commuting for full days. No noticeable discomfort.

These have got to be the comfiest pair of Nikes that I own, super comfortable. They look sleek and stylish and are a great fit . They are dressy but can casual depending on outfit , definitely a win win and super impressed will defo be purchasing in a different colour if available.

I have been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now and I absolutely love them! The triple black colour-way looks so clean and goes with just about every outfit. These trainers feel really well made and sturdy, I've been shocked at how comfy they are as it is very hard to find a pair of trainers that are comfy and that will last for a long time and I believe that I have found that with these.

I love the use of different materials on the shoe that have been used to create a range of different shades of black whilst also highlighting key features like the wave design on the outside & inside of the shoe and the classic Air Max bubble on the bottom.

My husband is usually a size 9 in shoes and trainers but the size 8 in this trainer fits him perfectly. They were comfortable to wear for a full day of travelling as the cushioning offered outstanding support whilst the material kept his feet cool. The shape of the shoe offers a relaxed look whilst the lace length is great to allow for a secure fit without the need to tie them.

Perfect trainer for my teenage son. Stylish, durable and comfortable. He loves them! They look great with tracksuits and jeans.

The Nike Air Max TW are a somewhat snug trainer, so I would size up a half size - I believe this to be the material connecting the tongue of the trainer to the main shoe. However, given that these Air Max were snug fitting on me, after some movement, they felt really good and that air bubble remains best cushion for my feet.

The trainer has a striking design despite being all black and I think Nike has done a really good job of elevating a black trainer to look noticeable, sporty and stylish while keeping their signature style. Despite the striking design, the shoe is light and has a simple element to it - there's no unnecessary fabric or add-ons, what you see is what you get but what you get is a trainer definitely worthy of a place in your collection.

As mentioned, the tongue is connected to the main trainer by two pieces of material either side of the foot which does make them feel snug but it also provided me with extra security and support for when I wore them to participate in more strenuous activity. They feel a sturdy, well built shoe that can be used for sport or exercising, but to also elevate an outfit that otherwise may be basic.

The air bubble is encased well in the sole of the trainer which gives me reassurance that it's well protected and won't be prone to breaking. Not to mention it feels like walking on perfectly curated clouds made specifically for my feet!

The Nike Air Max TW is definitely a trainer I'd recommend for anyone's collection - whether to style an outfit or to be your new shoes for the gym.

First impression was "wow! What a huge bubble!" The whole design of the TW is eye catching, massive bubble, chevrons running up the side of the shoe and minimal branding. It screams athleisure, and looks great in the triple black colourway.

The shoe fits true to size and is made of some quality and seemingly very durable materials. It also adds a couple of inches to your hight, which may be handy for some.

The feel on foot did take a little getting used to, it's almost like wearing a Cuban heel, but didn't affect comfort levels.

I usually wear a Uk 11 so in Nike 11.5 as they usually run smaller. These arrived in 10.5UK so I thought they would be small, after trying them they fit well, so definitely no need to go up a size in these! I have fairly wide feet too but not had any issues with these. I have worn these for runs, at the gym and walking the dogs and honestly they are a really comfy trainer. They have a nice breathable material that's also easy to clean. I'm not sure if it's the air bubble but you really do feel lots of support with these and like I said earlier they are super comfy. I like the subtle Nike tick on the front and the all black is such a classic look that you can wear with anything, joggers, shorts, jeans and so on. If you like the look of these you definitely won't be disappointed in the performance and comfort!

The design of the Nike Air Max TW is amazing, with different textures and fabrics that combined, make a perfect match. They have a high end finish with a nice, modern and discreet silhouette.

I got the full black ones. this was the perfect choice because I use them mostly for work, but due to their great design I also use them outside work, this is great because the design provides that flexibility to match your trainers with almost any clothing.

The size feels just right, the trainers provide great support to the feet without your toes feeling trapped.
The air cushion is amazing, very comfortable! I took the trainers for a short holiday abroad and I wore them to walk for hours, almost 20k steps per day and they're amazing. These are one of the best trainers I've ever had!

My only recommendation would be: wear full cotton socks with the trainers. If you wear polyester socks your feet could get sweaty which is not nice, especially if you're wearing them for hours just like me.

If you haven't tried these trainers before, you need to give them a go. This model worths every penny!

This is a comfortable trainer which provides pretty good support on the sole. I walk on average 15-20k steps a day in my job and having worn these for a couple of weeks everyday I can say they're great on comfort. Initially I did experience some discomfort around the ankle as the material around the shoe opening/side is a little on the stiff side. The edging is quite hard and if you're not used to it it can dig a little. After a few wears it's starting to ease off and here's to hoping it will soften completely after a few more weeks of wearing them in.

They're understated in all black but the thing about that is that you can't tell that they're Nike. I'm a way that's a bit of a shame as I'd want it to be visible that it's a Nike trainer. I feel like at first glance there's nothing that stands out about these and they could quite easily be mistaken for a pair of black unbranded cheaper pair of shoes. The Nike tick is black on black and very small. A bit of a shame.

However, that said it's still a great comfy trainer and feels like they're going to be very durable.

Firstly, I love the design of these trainers. They are chunky with an air unit which is large but not over the top. I also really like the subtle Nike and Air Max branding on the heel, toe box and tongue. The pattern on the side pays homage to the Air Max Tailwind IV from the late 90's which is a really nice touch. I have the triple black colourway which looks awesome and goes with most outfits.

The materials used feel of a high quality. A durable rubber makes up the outsole, whereas for the midsole there is a harder foam on the lower part and a softer foam on the upper part, with a five-bubble air unit on the heel. This gives an incredibly bouncy feel which rivals or maybe even surpasses the comfort of a lot of other Air Max models I have owned. However, one issue is that the glue binding the toe box to the midsole is not very tidy and because of the dark colourway this is really quite noticeable.

The upper is constructed of a range of different materials. The bulk of the upper is a hard-wearing synthetic type construction and there is a material which looks like leather on the toe box, top of the tongue and towards the back of the shoe. Mesh makes up the rest of the tongue which gives some much needed ventilation, however even with this I did find that my feet could get quite warm when I wore these trainers to the gym.

There is plenty of padding in the heel, which did well in preventing my feet from slipping up and down when walking. This, combined with a decent lacing system and the neoprene lining on the inside of the trainer helped to secure my feet really well. That said, these trainers did run slightly large on me - half a size down would have given me a perfect fit.

Overall I would definitely recommend the Air Max TW as a supremely comfortable and incredibly versatile trainer. I have worn these for the gym, casual socialising and walks around town or flat trails and they have been really easy to get along with on each occasion and looked great with whatever I was wearing. My only slight complaints are the glue marks on the toe and that fact that the ventilation could be better, but everything else is excellent!

I'm an active father of three young children so I like to wear shoes that can keep up with running around with them, including impromptu rugby, football or bike riding. I've recently been recovering from a ruptured achilles heel, therefore ensuring my foot it comfortable and has a level of support is important to me. Whilst walking the dog, I've found the support the Nike Air Max has given me to be very good. I'd definitely recommend them for activity as well as just normal day to day tasks.

I felt the fit was good, and true to size. In terms of the actual look of the trainer, I would normally prefer more colour rather than all black, but it still is a nice trainer.

I liked that the shoe gave me support when carrying out activities. In terms of making changes, I would add colour to the trainer as I'm not a fan of a block colour. My children were also impressed that their dad had Nike Air Max, so I won dad points too.

Great everyday shoe, I would suggest to go half a size up as it runs a bit snug around the top of the foot. Wore it laced up but not tied and still had a very secure fit.

Nice design, can't go wrong will all black and it has nice subtle reflective areas.

Would 100% get another pair

The shoes arrived perfectly packaged with no sign of any damage. The shoes themselves are excellent. The all black is very clean and a tidy look. They are extremely comfy and can be worn with most things due to their design and colour. I even tested the shoes on a run and was very surprised with the performance as they were brilliant. Perfectly go with a pair of joggers/shorts and would recommend to anyone!

I absolutely love these new Air Max. They are lighter than older trainers which makes them really comfortable to wear for an extended length of times. The black on black colour combi is brilliant and this is different to the vast majority of the Nike trainers. I also really like the subtle branding on the show with 2 small swoosh logos one at the front and one at the back which allows the design of the trainer to be more visible. The design of the inner shoe which has the elastic band holding the tongue in place which means that my foot didn't move about very much in the show even when the laces were lose.

The only thing that I feel could be made better is the material as sometimes it looked like the fabric had been damaged but it was just how the material looked in certain angles.

Like any air max I own, these fit true to size. They were a little snug at the start but that's with your typical shoe breaking in phase and once that's over, you'll regret not picking up a pair sooner. The classic air cushioning technology maximises comfort and its visible air units boast modern and eye-catching features, perfect for when I'm going for a walk in the park or those spontaneous hiking trips. Not to mention the breathable upper helps to keep my feet dry and the rubber outsole ensures the shoes can handle the usual wear and tear. Although, during my runs there is one thing I noticed and that the laces are not long enough. I am just about able to tie my shoes with them, however, as they are not long enough it meant that there are chances they become loose and undone. Apart from that, the laces themselves feel great and the lacing technology makes it easier to lace up quickly! I do wish I had picked up a pair earlier as I just cannot get over the striking design of the radiating lines on the upper! Without a doubt my favourite feature.

The shoe is very appealing to the eye, the design and the shape is very attractive, the shoe itself can go with many outfits, as the design allows it to have diversity compared to other shoes, one thing I've realised though is the shoes are for lifestyle only, not really suitable for sports.

How light the shoe was and the comfort took me by surprise cause it's a lot more than I expected, you can walk around in the following shoes are won't have your feet feeling weighed down and end up dragging your feet across the floor. The comfort is a good quality as it fits my feet nicely and allows for the comfort and doesn't feel tight after a while.

The fabric also assists in this, the feel is something not often I'd associate with shoes but I'm glad I've had an opportunity to wear them as the fabric is really suitable for this time of the year and weather, durable enough to not leaving your feet exposed by the environment but also a bit resistant to a bit of rain, have not tried them yet when it has been heavily raining, but based on the feel of the fabric I can imagine it's not suitable for heavy rain.

All around great quality shoe, comfortable, suitable for lifestyle and relaxing, the colour and design allows for the diversity weather to wear it with shorts, long jogging bottoms or other types of clothes.

One thing that I would say about the product which I thought was not is strength, is the tongue of the shoe, after a while of wearing the shoe the tongue starts to feel uncomfortable on the top of the foot, as the edges seem to dig into the feet a bit which make it slightly uncomfortable but that is the only "weakness" of the shoe, all else, the feel, design, comfort is quality, I'd recommend it the shoe to others

I really like the feel of this shoe, its very lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time and is true to size.

I like the design of the shoe with the five visable air windows around the heal of the shoe and the detailing on the side is very effective. As without that I think it would be a bit plain but with this design they stand out and are eye catching.

I also think that the rubber outsole will make this shoe more durable.

The TW logo on the tongue of the shoe is also a nice touch.

As they are all black they function as a smart shoe as well.

The only thing that I think would improve this shoe is maybe the nike logo on the heal being slightly more visable.

After taking them to one of the most stoney beaches in the UK on a typical British summer day, they held themselves really well. The outer skin may look thin and flimsy but will happily stop water from getting in from the waves of the sea to the rain and seem really durable, while the inner sock wraps around your feet giving a cushion feel.

They really do feel like you're walking on air. The bubbles in the sole withstand even the bumpiest of surfaces while somehow giving you height. I'm sure by having them on I was easily an inch or so taller than I usually am.

The style is very unique and all black colourway isn't a problem with most styles. I'm not the most stylish at my age, but they made me feel comfortable in myself and after having walked in them for about 6 miles my feet don't feel fatigued. Probably due to the overall cushioning they offer as well as the support.

I am very happy with them and may even get another pair in another colourway

Fits perfectly and feels very soft when walking. Design is very modern and fits pretty much all outfits. Fabric is very breathable and comforting.

Straight out of the box I was eager to try these out. Visually, they scream comfort. With the large air bubble peeking out from 5 little windows, coupled with the Cushlon midsole, they look extremely comfortable, and I must say they do not disappoint. The upper is very breathable meaning they keep your feet cool whether you are wearing them for high paced activities or just as a lifestyle piece. Comfort is the theme here. Being that I got mine in the black colourway I didn't have to worry too much about keeping them clean, however, I can imagine that this material in white would be very difficult to maintain. Since the release of the original tailwind in 1978 there have been many variations of the shoe, but this is a nice modern twist on the design, and even better that it is manufactured using recycled materials. I love the way that Nike produces shoes that are suitable for the older fans as well, allowing us to turn heads without looking like we're trying too hard. The only things I didn't like about these shoes was the way that the tongue is fixed using elastic that wraps around your whole foot, creating quite a tight fit. If you usually go for a certain size, you might want to size up by half a size, or do like I did and ensure that the laces were left quite loose. The Quality control left a bit to be desired, with some glue visible around the air bubble and midsole, which I would not expect on a shoe of this price point. Overall, it is a great multi-functional sneaker that I would recommend.

I haven't had black trainers in my shoe rotation for some time, but I love the vibe and look of these for a more casual street style fit. The trainer is chunky, lightweight and cushiony under foot thanks to the featured air bubbles. The design pattern is angular and eye catching. The fabric looks like it could easily be wiped clean and is breathable on when worn.
The comfort levels when wearing these trainers are high, fitting true to size, perfect for those with wider feet.
I am pleasantly surprised by Nike Air Max TW and love how the design is a mix of sporty comfort and fashion.
The only negative I find with darker colour ways is that sometimes any quality control issues with regards to glueing of the shoe is more obvious on darker shades.

These are so comfortable to wear. They are sturdy and hard wearing. They look really stylish too and I like the extra inches they give me next to my tall wife. They didn't need broken in they were comfortable to wear from day one walking around on holiday. Would like these again.

Very comfortable while been very supportive especially around the heel. The all black design ideal for work, end of the day now doesn't feel like I have been on my feet all day as they are so comfortable, but look stylish at the same time like that they go with chinos. Also good choice when working out at the gym.Practical at the same time can be wiped clean.

A great cushioning heel unit, very very comfortable and the colour way is sublime. Wear these all day long and you'll be as comfortable as can be. They may be a little chunky for some but I'm loving the old school vibe.

These shoes run big i have a full size down and they fit great, i really like the tongue is joined in with the shoe and it makes it a snug fit like a sock which makes them good for training in as they have great support, there is thick padding at the heel for extra comfort also the shoes are also lightweight and the material makes it breathable for your feet, I like the colour ways on offer aswell.

Overall a nice stylish shoe. Whether it's rocking it with some jeans, tracksuit or to the gym the shoe definitely has its benefits for versatility.

The triangular/arrow pattern on the upper part of the shoe gives it character whilst maintaining the air max feel.

I would recommend this shoe as a universal go to. The colour is perfect to match any outfit.

The shoe is lightweight which makes it nice to slip on and go.

Comfy to run in, to walk in and to chill in.

If I was in control the only thing I would change on the shoe is the bulkyness on the sole.

I think my title says it all really. I'm just not a huge fan of the materials, it makes the shoe feel kind of cheap and the all black colour way gives the appearance of a school PE trainer almost? I know that might sound quite harsh and realistically, this shoe might be for you if you wear a lot of cargo/straight legged jean fits however it didn't compliment my style the way I was hoping it would.

That being said, it makes for a good shoe with a casual fit, shorts, loose tee etc.

Very comfortable. Ideal for everyday use.

I'm sure Nike tw is far from new and they had a tw range in the 80's.
The 80's ones were cross trainers and on first impressions were much better.
Just facts.

I'm a huge fan of Nike's retro-styled sneakers and often find myself trawling through the secondary market to find OG colourways, however this brand-new model ticks all the boxes. The sleek stylings and well-composed colourway are a match made in heaven and let's not forget the fact that these are one of the most comfortable kicks I've stepped into in recent years. As a hardcore sneakerhead it's hard not to notice the '90s influence, which is a massive yes from me. Excited to see further colourways drop!
