Nike Mens Air Zoom Pegasus Shield

Your workhorse with wings returns to help you push through the rain. A water-repellent finish helps keep you dry while a cozy fleece-like feel on the inside helps keep your feet warm for nasty-weather runs. Rugged traction and 2 Zoom Air units provide grip and soft cushioning, so you can power through the elements.

The Finer Details

  • Like a warm jacket for your feet, knit material in the upper helps keep your feet warm. Skins placed around the toes—in areas where water can seep in—help to keep you dry. Insulation in the back of the tongue helps your feet stay warm and comfortable.
  • A water-repellent finish and gusseted tongue work together to help keep your feet dry. Heathered lining in the collar helps keep your ankle warm and dry.
  • The Storm-Tread outsole provides traction in wet weather. It has textures inspired by winter tires. Micro grooves grab the road, while multidirectional shapes help shed water for direct contact with the pavement.
  • Nike React technology is a lightweight, durable foam that delivers a smooth, responsive ride. Nike paired it with 2 Zoom Air units (at the forefoot and heel) for an energized feel at toe-off. The result is a smooth transition from heel to toe.

It's like you're floating
Bought for my son for school.
Wow, he is over the moon, "most comfortable trainers he's worn', he says when he runs in them it's like he's floating.
Overall a great purchase so far!

My favourite running and walking shoe
Nike Pegasus 39 shield is one of my best favourite running and walking shoes. I have never had anything more comfortable, water and rain proof like this one. Even after many hours you don't have any blisters or not even tired feet.

Absolutely top and highly recommended👍

I read many reviews and was not sure, but thanks to Nike's return policy, I decided to try these. Do not be put off by the noise issue, I haven't felt it, only noise is my feet slapping the ground. If you want wear them indoors and not for running,then I am not sure, it may make slight popping noise, but not a big deal.
For running, Boy, they are good. So, they are water-repellent,I mean, I would say water proof. On a rainy day or muddy field, you won't feel a thing.
If your feet are cold before your run, these will act like a jacket. So,perhaps not best On a warm day.
The responsive cushion is good. Grip is good, did I say, I have tried them on muddy paths and trails too. Go for it. It is every bit a great running shoe, worth the money I paid for.

Dry feet
Just received these and only ran few miles but already like them. They do make a popping sound from the material when walking.

Excellent functionality
I've had this shoe for close to a year now and it has helped me a lot with my running. It is light, soft and allows enough breathing on the foot to keep me comfortable on long runs.

Love the shield protection but trainer developed a squeak!
Great pair of trainers that I wear for work day to day in maintenance. Really like the shield protection that keeps my feet dry in the rain or when working around water. However after a few weeks of wear the left trainer has developed an annoying squeaking noise on the heal lift when walking. Can get a bit annoying but I'd still recommend these as long as yours don't squeak 😁

Great Shoe for Winter Road Running
I mainly prefer trail running but this is a great shoe for those wet winter road runs. Good grip and comfortable. Size that was sent through was a little big for me. I have size UK 10.5 but i felt a 10 would've been a better fit. Overall a good all round road shoe. Would recommend. :)
