Superb comfort straight out the box. Quality finish and excellent quality of materials. Great fit for people with narrow feet; some makes I have to size up but these 9.5s are bang on.

First wear was very snug as I believe they run a bit smaller but after a few wears it was a good fit. The laces are interlocked with cords that down the side of the trainer providing great support all the way around. Used them for morning walks and runs on concrete and loose gravel and had now issues with grip. Would be 10/10 is there was some better water resistance.

I've been using these shoes for a couple of months now & I have to say they're really comfortable to run in. I've stopped using my old running shoes & have only been using these ones. So far they seem durable & I have no complaints. The fabric material also adds to the comfort as they're quite light & my feet feel like they can breath.

The black and white colourway which I have don't only provide a good running experience but they also look great as a casual pair of trainers with a pair of shorts when the weather's nice.

Would definitely recommend to someone looking for an new pair of running shoes

I recently had the opportunity to put these trail running shoes to the test, and they left me with mixed feelings. Let's break down the key features:

Outsole:
The outsole of these shoes offers a firm ride, which can be both a pro and a con depending on your preferences. While some runners appreciate a firm and responsive feel, others may miss the cushioning found in other models. However, the good news is that these shoes compensate for the lack of cushioning with a good amount of traction on the outsole. The rubber outsole with tapered lugs proved invaluable in efficiently navigating uphill and downhill terrains, providing the essential traction required on rocky roads. One drawback is that the outsole is not as flexible as some might prefer, and it feels a bit too rigid. On the plus side, the thick material across the toe ensures extra durability, a welcome feature for trail runners who encounter rough terrain.

Upper Fabric:
The upper fabric of these shoes is a blend of mesh, synthetic leather, and textile materials, offering a combination of durability and breathability. This makes them a good choice for enduring tough trails without sacrificing comfort. The materials used are certainly durable and can withstand the rigors of trail running.

Fit and Feel:
These shoes provide good padding in the back to keep the heel from slipping, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. They also do a decent job of keeping your feet dry from light splashes of rain, although they're not suitable for puddle-jumping. Your foot is effectively locked in with minimal movement, enhancing stability. However, breathability is just okay, and they can get a bit warm during longer runs. The integration of cables with the laces adds to the secure feel, and these shoes are true to size.

Design:
The design of these shoes is a definite highlight. They are not only functional but also good-looking. The addition of a reflective logo enhances visibility during low-light conditions. Moreover, the fact that they're made from at least 20% recycled content aligns with eco-friendly considerations.

What I liked most about these shoes is their overall look, combining style and sustainability. However, the firmness of the ride was a drawback for me. If I could make a change, I would opt for an outsole that provides more cushioning, as I believe this would greatly improve the comfort and versatility of these trail running shoes.

These trainers are light on your feet and very comfortable. The sole is large and provides very good sole and arch support, great for running and gym work. Great grip.
The black and white monochrome style is great and understated. They do however look a little bit on the chunky side. That said, the chunky sole is what makes them so comfortable so it's certainly worth it.

The Nike Juniper Trail 2 shoes offer a well-rounded experience. In terms of design, they strike a balance between a sporty and outdoorsy look, making them versatile for various activities. The fabric used feels durable, providing good protection against rough terrain, while still allowing breathability to keep your feet comfortable. The fit is generally true to size and offers decent support, and a good amount of give for those with wider feet. The overall feel is comfortable, with ample cushioning and traction that's suitable for trail running or hiking, but not overly stiff for casual wear

This shoe is the perfect balance of comfort, performance and affordability. It feels springy to run in and hasn't given me any blisters. The material appears hard wearing so far.

Things I might change are improvements to the styling and maybe also the shape of the shoe, personally for me the shoe is a little more plain to what I'm used to but for others these may be good. I might also add some more reinforcement to the front to-box of the shoe for me as I run in the countryside and the pavements there can be a little rough and muddy.

The packaging is simple but good, I like the reduced cardboard but I believe that more can be done to improve on this further.

If I were to spend a little extra on the shoe, then I would expect a little more cushioning for my runs but for the budget of the shoe, I would say that it is good value for my money.

One thing I like in particular is the rear tab for pulling the shoe on, this is great for me to easily put on the shoe as running shoes typically fit quite tightly and so are quite hard to put on sometimes but this tab makes it easy. More could be done however for making them easier to take off for people who may struggle.

When I first saw the Juniper Trail 2 shoe out of the box, my initial thoughts weren't great!

I thought they looked an odd shape and not aesthetically pleasing. I feel this may be because the sole of the shoe is wide and bulky and the top of the shoe is low and minimal around the angle area, which for me, makes the shoe look somewhat odd. However, after wearing the shoes for several days and seeing them on my feet in the mirror etc, they do look slightly better on the foot, however, I am still drawn to the low ankle area wishing it was slightly larger offering more support.

I have not had chance to put these shoes through their paces as per their intended use, however I have worn them for several boxing sessions and I can't fault them for their comfortable feel and how they performed during these sessions.

Materials used seem durable enough for indoor use, however I would question the longevity when out on the trails, I feel the materials may be too lightweight.

The Nike Juniper Trail 2 is an incredibly versatile running shoe. I run regularly both outdoors and on treadmills / HIIT classes and found the shoe performed really well in all conditions. The shoe is very comfortable and provides a good level of support for the ankles, and the cushioned sole provides a good amount of spring to give you a nice boost up those hills! The grip on the shoe is excellent worked particularly well running off road trails. I have run in wet conditions multiple times (including with the dog!) and had not issues slipping around. There is also a good level of water proof protection. I did feel some moisture in really wet conditions but this was minimal.

From a design perspective I wouldn't normally go for a black running shoe, but this actually helps to hide the dirt on those muddier runs. Particularly as we are now coming into winter and conditions are generally wetter, these shoes have been a perfect addition. I would've actually preferred if the sole section was also black as the white can get a bit dirty, but I've been able to clean these up easily. Otherwise, I really like the design of the shoe and think it looks particularly great from the side.

Overall a great running shoe that I found could be used on and off road, and in the gym. For those that enjoy trail running these shoes would be a great choice, offering the performance needed for challenging trails with the versatility for day to day use. I'd never considered a trail running shoe before but certainly will in future!

Having owned the Pegasus trail 3 shoes, the Juniper trail shoes are a good alternative to people looking for a budget friendly trail shoe.

The design is very stylish and you wouldn't think it was a trail shoe on first impressions, so this would suit casual wear also.

In terms of comfort, the shoes run quite firm and true to size.

At the price point, I'd recommend these and especially if you can get them in the sale!

The Nike Juniper Trail 2NN are a runner athleisure wear sneaker, designed for all things active. After testing the sneakers I can confirm that these shoes are a perfect daily sneaker for any activity or errand. The shoe is perfect for long wears and is durable enough to withstand lots of wear. The material is something that impressed me especially around supporting the foot in the shoe, it felt great. Comfort is something else the shoe exceeded for me. I could wear the shoe for whole days and not feel the strain on my feet. This is purely down to the excellent sole and shock absorbent materials used. The build quality was excellent and was something that made me want to wear the shoe. The shoe was also light enough that it didn't feel tough to wear. The lightness contributed to the comfort I experienced and was again something I appreciated. Although I am not the most active person, after wearing the shoe, I found myself motivated and wanting to be more active. The colourway too was something I liked in a simple black and white which did not only look appealing, but it allowed me to wear a larger amount of clothes as it fit in with a majority of things I wear. The only area I would potentially like to see improved is the upper material on the shoe and the fact it is not waterproof. Maybe a new version of the shoe featuring GORETEX would help solve this issue as I did find my feet getting wet often when I would wear them in the rain. Besides this, using this shoe was a blast.

The NIKE JUNIPER TRAIL 2 NN trail sneakers are a strong display of innovative design and performance from Nike. Focusing on the key features of cushioned, high grip soles and the trail-specific design, these shoes certainly have their highlights.

The cushioning in the sole is a standout feature. The cushioning materials feel of great quality and provides an exceptional level of comfort, absorbing impact and enhancing the trail running experience. The midsole, with its responsive and well-padded structure, offers a supportive feel, making it an excellent choice for prolonged wear, particularly on uneven or rugged terrain. I have worn these sneakers both for outdoor running and for long hikes, and even after a 2+ hour hike my feet were still very comfortable.

Special mention must be made to the grip on the sole. The sole pattern provides stability and traction on various surfaces such as rocks, gravel and grass, making it an ideal choice for off-road adventures. The shoe's overall construction and design specifically cater to trail running or hiking, demonstrating reliability on challenging terrain.

The design is also sleek and smart, with the black sneaker with white accents such as the familiar swoosh on the outside, and I like the TRAIL specific designs that are on the inner side of the shoe. I enjoy when Nike employ a specific design/branding for each type of shoe and this is no exception.

However, despite the promising features, one significant disappointment comes in the shoes lack of waterproofing. For a trail runner that often encounters diverse weather conditions and terrains due to the climate I live in, I was disappointed in the level of water resistance. Unfortunately, even a quick walk through wet grass results in the quick seepage of water into the shoe and your feet getting damp quickly. This absence of water resistance can be a notable drawback, especially for those who frequently engage in outdoor activities or trail running in wet weather conditions.

In conclusion, the NIKE JUNIPER TRAIL 2 NN sneakers excel in cushioning and trail-specific design, offering superb comfort and traction for outdoor pursuits. However, the lack of water resistance is a notable letdown, potentially limiting its effectiveness in wet or damp conditions. If improved waterproofing were incorporated into future iterations, these sneakers could undoubtedly elevate the overall trail-running experience.

I would recommend them if you generally hit trails in dry conditions due to the lack of waterproofing however, this does not affect the grip of the shoe, as I noted excellent grip even in wet conditions on smooth rocks.

The Nike Juniper 2 Trail Shoes leave me in a quandary, my initial thought is that a runner would be better off buying an alternative model of Nike trail shoes, in one of the many Nike sales or through utilising their Nike birthday discount, yet in terms of value for money, the Juniper 2 is quite the bargain for day to day running or walking, on the road or trail; simply put these shoes may not be the most comfortable or the fastest in the range but everything about them will last.

Going half a size down to my normal Nike fit, I still had a full thumbs width in the length of the toe box and found the width more than sufficient enough to allow my toes room to spread and my foot room to swell during long runs. On the other hand, I did find the toe box slightly shallow but not enough to cause any rubbing or concern, it simply added to an overall tighter feeling across the bridge of my foot. I weighed the size 8 shoes at around 317 grams which these days is slightly on the heavier side, when compared to the various other Nike trail models, yet surprisingly I didn't feel that weight when on the foot.

The tongue is gusseted with a light stretchy material which helps to hold your foot in place, whilst the tongue itself is plush just enough to prevent the laces digging in. The laces are a nice material, not long enough for me to double knot yet they can be twisted and tucked under to prevent them coming undone. They are held in place in part with a cable loop design to maximise hold on your foot whilst maintaining comfort; although I have not personally felt the difference from this approach. There is also an extra lace hole around the top of the shoe for anyone looking to add a race knot or further lock down the heel.

The mix of synthetic leather and textile materials in the upper make it very sturdy without causing any overheating or adding too much weight. Whilst not the intended purpose a 9-mile track session in the sun was more than enough to test the shoes breathability and ventilated design. The small guard around the front of the toe box helps to protect your toes from rocks and stones etc whilst also acting quite nicely to dispel water as you run through long grass. Generally the shoe is rather good at not absorbing water, although an hours dog walk in a heavy downpour did add about 10grams to the weight; the shoe dried quickly overnight in the airing cupboard. The heal collar was comfortable, with just enough padding to protect my ankles and keep stones out without resulting in rubbing. There is a pull tab on the tongue and the heel and whilst I didn't find myself using those, they seemed secure and easy to grab hold of.

The foam used in the Juniper 2 was a let down for me; I'm not sure what was used but it's not very responsive, it cushions well enough for trails, is slightly firm on concrete but its main drawback is it really lacks any kind of energy return. That's not to say you couldn't run fast in these shoes and you do feel close to the ground despite the stack height. The shoe has a smooth transition from heel to toe off yet it doesn't feel like the shoe encourages or helps with this motion; there is little forward roll and subsequently rides fairly flat. The foam and the shoe as a whole are very stable, it protects your feet, will last a long time, all whilst keeping you safe from a twisted ankle.

The lug depth seems shallow yet has provided a surprising amount of grip on all manner of terrain in a range of conditions with the exception of highly compacted stones which had been weathered smooth, a rather rare terrain encountered on some steps at a local tourist attraction. The rubber seems of high quality, sturdy enough to last and surprisingly grippy. I cannot imagine the shallow lugs will be of much use in really boggy conditions yet that does make them more comfortable for flatter surfaces whether running or walking.

I've used this shoe a lot on long walks and for me this is the perfect use going forward. The style and look of the Nike Juniper 2 allows it to easily pass as a daily trainer, out in public and shows off a hint of my sporty personality, without being an outlandishly bold colour.

As far as changes or alterations I would like to see, perhaps Nike react foam in the sole or at least a portion added to provide more comfort, better energy return and protection from injury. The rest of the shoe is not just perfect for the price range but also very good in general, so I do believe it to be merely the foam that for me lets the shoe down.

Having had tried many Nike trail shoes over the years I was fully expecting these to be a hit. I was so far right. The perfect shoe for all running occasions, the wet mud, the icy roads or simply a nice stroll. The laces are one of my favourite features, providing excellent support for the shoe as they are super sturdy unlike laces I've had in the past. After runs in the mud, the shoes will need a clean, however with a bit of water the muck came out immediately - very impressed.

I was looking forward to trying my new trail running shoes.
They felt great straight out the box with a simple yet sleek design. You can't go wrong with black for winter especially when hitting the trail courses.

They are slightly bigger than my other nike runners so would recommend getting .5 size down if you're looking for a snug fit with no heel slippage.

They have a great grip and I felt in full control during my runs on a variety of trail paths including gravel and grass. I'm looking forward to the wetter months ahead to push them further.

They're incredibly breathable, which means my feet stay cool and comfortable even during the most intense workouts. Whether it's setting a new personal best or a long run, these sneakers keep my feet feeling fresh.

But it's not just about breathability; it's also about durability. I've really put these shoes through their paces. For all the athletes, these sneakers will be with you every step of the way and will come out unfazed. This just shows Nike's commitment to quality and craftsmanship throughout the shoe making it the ultimate choice for those who demand the best from their footwear.

Perfect trainers for a light trail walk/jog, not for a rough
terrain run. They do run a little small and tight compared to other Nike size 11 but gives great support. Good style liked the symbols around the trainer and love the trail sticker you get in the box. Very durable material and wipeable to clean off the mud with is a must for trail trainers.

The Nike Juniper Trail 2 has durable materials and tough traction provide a consistent, confident ride on any terrain for trail running or trekking.

It has a snug fit, just right on my feet and feels true to size. The material seems very durable for any kind of terrain with a good grip on the outsole and whilst the midsole is reasonably firm it feels soft and bouncy when broken in after a few miles.

These are a great value trail shoe. I even used these for everyday working and walking the dog as they were comfortable for most things and not just trail running.

First off, another top quality pair of trainers from Nike. The Juniper trail 2 were a pleasure (mostly). The sole provided great grip in wet conditions, especially on the inclines. Foam support is so comfortable to stand on also. Admittedly, I do have wide feet. I found these ran quite right on the sides. Would recommend a 1/2 size up

Whilst normally being a road runner, whenever I do a route which is off road and on the trails I typically grab an older pair of running shoes and try and hope that the grip on the shoes is enough to not fall over. Getting these as a cheaper entry into the trail shoe game changed my off-road runs! The added grip and stability with this shoe meant I was confident going on muddier and less stable terrain. If you need a more stable shoe due to ankle stability I'd suggest getting a shoe with slightly more material around the ankles, but as a cheap entry level, this ticks all the boxes!

Juniper Trail 2 NN is super! I think its better to use for a long walk or trekking into mountains. It has a snug fit, just right on my feet (true to size). Its material seems very durable for any kind of terrain with a good grip outsole and a soft comfy insole which makes a perfect shoe for any outdoor adventure.

After wearing the Nike Juniper Trail NN pretty much everyday for the last 2-3 weeks, I can confidently say that I would recommend them to anyone looking for a mid range and appropriately priced pair of trainers for day to day use & active / sports usage.

I got the Juniper trails the week I was going away on a hiking / walking intensive trip and thought I'd give them a go as a pair of trainers I could use throughout the day. I must say, they were perfect for day to day walking on steep hills, runs through harsh hilly terrain and general usage around town.

Out of the three pairs of trainers I took with me, I found myself using the Junipers the most as immediately they were comfortable and remained so after hours of wear. Since then, I've used them pretty much everyday for active sports, general gym usage and outdoor runs and could not complain about the comfort.

Regarding the look of the trainer, the black and white colour way I opted for were great for matching with gym wear and also my Nike Football Drill tracksuit which is a step up from some other trainers in the same usage bracket; as sometimes they can be hard to keep in line with the rest of an outfit.

In conclusion, I would recommend these trainers to anyone looking for a general usage trainer for day to day and also anyone looking for a mid range sports trainer without spending a small fortune.

Supportive, lightweight, and comfortable. The Juniper Trail 2 are the perfect footwear for running, walking, and cardio gym sessions.
Even with the low cut profile of the trainers, the support they give you is top tier. The snugness and comfort you feel is not compromised by the practicality at all, and they will step your outdoor activity up a level without leaving your feet feeling like they're on fire.

The thick sole is amazing for walks or runs off the beaten track, you won't be feeling every stone, stick, or bump that you tread on. The Juniper's lightweight sole also has a perfect shape that gives every step a natural feeling roll to it, smoothly rolling from heel to toe.

One thing to be mindful of is the grip. Whilst absolutely perfect for pavements, running machines, grass, and most outdoor walkable surfaces, they can be quite slippy on smooth tiled flooring when wet.

Nike does a great job of a perfect trifecta when it comes to trainers, and this is no exception. Crafting these with equal attention to comfort, usability, and design.
Whilst they're not designed for everyday casual streetwear, you will not feel like you need to change out of them to go about your day to day.

The Juniper Trail 2 are quite green conscious too, made with 20% recycled materials.
Great work from heel to toe.

The Juniper 2s are a comfortable trainer providing a stable feel particularly in the heel. If you have previously opted for a barefoot running shoe such as a Nike Free, you will notice the higher profile and a more pronounced drop from the heel to the forefoot.
Runners coming from a shoe such as the Pegasus are less likely to notice a significant difference.

In comparison to prior Nike trainers (Free RNs, Pegasus etc) these to run slightly big, approximately half a size and mostly in length. This difference can impact the heel lockdown.

Traction is confidence inspiring on hard trails, but for softer ground/mud you may prefer longer lugs for better traction.
Additionally if you frequently run in such scenarios it's worth noting that the while the upper is very breathable, there is a mesh section directly over the toebox which will allow water in - so prepare for some soggy feet.

Overall a comfortable, supportive and breathable shoe ideally suited & recommended for trail runners favouring firm ground.

Having seen the shoe initially I thought it would be similar to all my other running shoes however the Nike Juniper Trainer are an example of sustainable innovation and performance excellence. I am impressed with the use of recycled materials, advanced stability features and rugged design, these trainers offer a well-rounded package for out door trail runners and outdoor gym enthuasists.
For me personally these elevated my training sessions especially when I was having my outdoor circuits and including a jog / sprint after each set. I have now used these for over 20km and they've quickly become my go to trainer for outdoor sessions. I have used them in the rain as well and dry and performance is great.

The confidence and the grip these shoes give you running on loose terrain is absolutely fantastic.
The fit and feel was 10/10 the level of comfort was one of the best I've ever experienced whilst still giving good feel of what you're running on.
I personally am a huge fan of the design of this trainer. It is sleek, smart and the branding is perfect. Not too much but enough to let people see they are Nike.
The fabric was extremely soft but very durable. The only thing was that I found they got wet very quickly, it would be a great idea if they offered a waterproof version for the wet English weather.
The main thing I liked about these shoes was the comfort and the confidence they gave you running on loose and uneven terrain.

First thing you'll notice about the shoes is the design and how lightweight they are. I got the black ones which look very clean and sleek. They are lowkey but also distinct thanks to the highly recognised swoosh. Regarding quality, they don't feel cheaply made or give the impression that they'll fall apart after a few uses. I like the fact they the material used is breathable so your feet shouldn't get too sweaty.
They're also very easy to put on, they basically slip on so whenever you're in a rush and every second counts, these shoes are a good go to.
The main purpose of these shoes is for running particularly in the urban jungle and I can say that they are, so far, flawless for this purpose. Whether I'm walking, jogging or running in them, it feels comfortable even though I've got flat feet which is a pleasant surprise. It's lightweight means that you're almost gliding and you don't feel like you're being weighed down like some other shoes out there. To me, with every footstep, you feel a subtle but noticable pleasant bounce which is another benefit when moving rapidly. You'd want this in a shoe because you feel like you're working less.
Asides from outdoor exercise, they'll also just great shoes to wear casual. Even when I'm not doing aerobics, I find myself still grabbing them and wearing them like normal everyday shoes. I would definitely describe these Juniper Trail 2's as having multiple uses.
In terms of the fit, no complaints, for my size they fit me perfectly.
All in all would highly recommend these shoes, they're nice to look at and even better to use, Nike definitely didn't go style over substance with these. Whether you're looking for shoes for exercising in or just shoes you can throw on for casual usage, these shoes are definitely a good choice and you won't go wrong with them.

Wow I have found these a all round good trainer for all situations, great grip great weight and durability I found them great in wet weather, can imagine to be better in dry conditions.

Let's start with the aesthetics and style… clean lines, un-offensive and classic look but that's not what I'm really looking for with a trail trainer. I prefer different textures and bright colours that are out there. Something that stands out and you can see coming.
These trainers have a thick stack height, so feel secure and provide stability when out running through the woods. This is reassuring as less likely to injure your ankles on the rugged terrains. They felt comfortable and supported allowing natural foot movement.
When running through the woods there was a dampness to the ground, but these trainers had a good grip, despite not having too deep or aggressive lugs, because of this I felt I could concentrate more on the running and less on am I going to fall flat on my face.
I do not believe these trainers are water resistant however, I not run through any puddles, (didn't want to mess them up) but they are made from a light material so I would imagine they would dry quite quickly.
My final thoughts are these are a great pair of trail trainers, they are built to tackle tough terrain and allow you to enjoy the great outdoors.

These are the perfect entry and intermediate trail runner shoes. Whether you are just starting your running journey or fancy yourself a bit of a marathon runner, these will treat you just right.

The materials are durable yet offer plenty of movement. They have lace locks across the top two loops, eliminating the need to do your own "heel lock", meaning you can get a nice tight fit to lock your feet down. They don't feature the full Fly Wire system, but it's not really needed.

The design is clean, especially in the black/white pair that I opted for. Though I do really like the orange. They're not extravagant, but hey, they don't need to be.

The only thing they're lacking is Gore-Tex fabrics like in the more premium runners from Nike, but at this price point they are extremely good. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence about these, they are brilliant.

I got these for my partner who has been wearing them for about a month and he's been loving them and has absolutely no complaints he is a size 12 and they fit perfect he has a very slim foot so ties them quite tightly but they do not rub or wriggle off his feet at all we've done a couple of small hill walks in them and he's not had any problems they're very styling as well but not in your face with the black and white colour

I got these trainers a few weeks back and have actively worn them every day since. Have used them in the gym, on the trails and going to the shops and absolutely love them. They are super comfortable and break in really fast. A decent amount of cushioning in the heel makes it feel like you are running on air. The weight is comfortable, not the lightest but not the heaviest either.
In the gym they perform well but when doing weights, you may need something firmer. They are mega comfy for those long days being dragged around the shops!
They are well made with a quality upper that's easy to keep clean and on the black pair have a slight reflective quality to the swoosh which I like. The large weight sole could get grubby quickly on wet trail runs.
An awesome all round pair of trainers which I'd highly recommend. I had a pair which were half a size down from my normal size and the fit was perfect.

The black and white colour way is very simple and can easily go with any training outfit. They are really comfortable, light weight and supportive. This pair of trail/running shoes can be worn everyday from walking/running to working out. The rubber outsole provides a great traction in different weather conditions and types of terrain.

The material allows breathability. The mountain design in the middle and the black and white strings attached on the actual shoe laces give a nice contrast to the overall basic look. 

So I'm not normally one for black trainers, but these were that comfortable that they were on my feet most days! So comfortable and durable to wear to work everyday. Worn over several different surfaces from wooden floors to hard concrete, stone paths and through woods, the trainers never moved or rubbed. Really like the style and design of the trainers with the Trail triangle on the inside and the nice smooth swoosh tick on the outside of the shoe in white which stands out even more with a sewn white outline.

The Nike Juniper Trail 2 NN is a lightweight, comfortable and cushioned trainer that can be used in everyday activities. The simple yet stylish design works well with most looks/styles. It's durability and comfort makes it a reliable everyday trainer. I'm quite an active person so have been using them most days as my go-to trainer whether it's walking to the shops or out running in the mud, it's a shoe that can take a lot of mileage. We all know how quickly trainers can sometimes lose their shape but with the design and fabric used they're easy to clean and maintain a fresh looking pair of trainers.
My only downside I found with these trainers were the first couple of times wearing them I had a slight rubbing on the outside of the ankle but they quickly took to the shape of my foot and have been fine since. Overall a simple but good looking, comfortable and lightweight trainer.

Not the best overall but serves its purpose very well.
It will fit you just like any other Nike running shoe, it looks okay, I'm not a fan of the trails logo, why not just the iconic swoosh? It's made from durable material but man is the sole hard!
If running track or city you will feel it every step but if out hiking and jogging around parks etc it's fantastic!

Where to start with the Juniper Trail, from the moment the box arrived I loved the small touches; the Nike Trail bumper sticker inside, the Trail box detail is as good as ever, 'reason not required' & 'worn to be wild' motifs on the shoe and not to mention the triple outdoor adventure icons on the heel tab. All the things I love about Nike.

The fit is a little smaller than other Nike trail shoes I've had, it felt tight around the roof of my foot, but as I later discovered this was actually a massive positive. The upper material doesn't feel quite as premium as other Pegasus Trail or Wild Horse shoes that I've owned recently, but at further investigation the price point does reflect that. I really like the Nike swoosh silhouette behind the main swoosh on the outside.

I traveled up to the Yorkshire dales to run up Pen-y-Ghent in the shoes and boy oh boy they didn't disappoint. The traction is fantastic, at the top of the fell the rock was slippy from the rain, but after a couple bigger steps where I thought I may slip, I didn't, and this was a massive plus for the Juniper Trail 2. The heel feels big and chunky, plenty of support when it came to the descent. Where I thought the shoe was a little tight when I first put them on, when you're running, the shoe feels locked on your foot which really is a confidence booster. I think a lot of it has to do with the fly wire type design in the lace system (keep that coming).

I feel like these shoes would be a great pair for someone who regularly runs on the road and is looking for an affordable second pair for the occasional off road jaunt. Or someone running their first obstacle course race and doesn't want to spend a huge amount on a pair of shoes that is likely to get ruined but still wants top level performance.

These shoes pack the performance of a premium shoe but at an entry level price. Great job Nike!

This is what I would call an entry level trail running shoe. For the price it is great, however if you are wanting a more comfortable ride, the extra spend may be worth it to you. The cushion appears to be a standard foam, so is a but hard underfoot, but it isn't terrible. You could put your own insole if if needed.

The shoe comes a little snug to start with, but as soon as you have them laced properly for you, within a few wears it fits your foot so much better and the lock drown is great. My foot doesn't go anywhere in these trainers.

Fabric choices are good and well thought out. The fabric top is breathable and adds comfort to the toe box. The top has a little bit of a toe drag guard which steams sturdy enough for scrapes.

The design of the Juniper 2 NN reminds me of the Pegasus 3 as it has a similar look while maintaining its own unique identity.

Overall I like the shoe. It has a good look to it and the upper is comfortable with good lockdown. No problem with traction and grip at all! For my preference, I'd have liked a little more padding in the heel cup and a softer foam or maybe a small are unit for added underfoot comfort.

If you are just starting to trail run, then it is certainly worth a shot to get you up and on the run.

I love these trainers! They are so comfortable to walk in. You don't feel all the lumps and bumps as you walk about. They are designed to hug your feet and in doing so make them so good to wear.

The material feels high quality and durable. The lind of material that can withstand scuffs from walking in different terrains. I am never sure of black trainers but they look really good especially with the white contrast at the bottom. I wasn't sure of the large triangle on the inside at first however having had then for a week I feel they add to a great designed shoe.

Overall, great fitting and very comfortable trainer!

I was very excited when I received these shoes, the perfect new pair for my running. I've used the Nike Trail brand before and was very happy with it. These are comfortable, responsive and breathable while also looking great in a classic black and white colourway. Whether I was walking or running these were very comfy and had excellent traction on rugged surfaces.
I do feel they may run a little big, as I am usually a size 10.5, but accidentally got a size 10. They still fit very well and are comfortable though are slightly narrow across the top of my foot so I have the laces slightly looser than I'm used to. Do keep that in mind when ordering.
