Mens Challenger Windbreaker Jacket

I loved this windbreaker, it was so cute and lightweight but it was REALLY small - I'm 5'7, 130 and have almost always worn a small in Columbia products and this was so tight I could barely get it over my head. Tried to exchange for a medium but they were already sold out :(

I almost gave it 4 stars due to it running very small. If you wear an XL, and are 42"+, it will be tight around chest. Other than that, the color is accurate, I got bold orange which is more of a red as pictured, loads of useful pockets and extremely lightweight. Length is perfect. Unfortunately, It does not come in plus sizes.

All previous feedback prompted me to purchase size Large, even though I wear Medium in all jackets & coats. Large is still snug but fits so well, like it was tailor-made for me! Love the proportions of this design (apart from being too small in general), the kangaroo pocket, the sleeve media/key pocket, not too long sleeves; love how well-made this item is. These colors are amazing! I got both Black & White SW Blocks Print. Men's Challenger in these colors all sold out :-( My husband wants one, too!

I ordered an extra large and it was WAY too tight. I have broad shoulders and a large chest so if you have either of those, this jacket won't fit very comfortably

I love love this pull over wind breaker! I got it in the color nocturnal and white and took it with me on my road trip through out Colorado. I also used this to hike pikes peak in Colorado Springs. It's the perfect jacket to keep you warm but also it's super light and stylish. I love the front pockets and secret zipper because I was able to hold all of my necessities I needed to access quickly in them. I took this baby to 11,000 feet on Pikes Peak! Keep in mind it runs very small. I'm usually a size small and I ordered this one in a medium. Even the medium gave a snug fit but was perfect for me because I wanted a jacket that wasn't going to look so bulky in pictures.

Love the color and design of the windbreaker. It's small for my body, and I'm using it as an encouragement to lose weight. Can't wait to wear it!

I've owned a few windbreakers before and I always thought they were kind of a joke, they were very thin and did nothing to stop the wind, in my mind thats the way they all were. I bought this one soley because I thought it looked good and was very pleasantly surprised when I wore it the first time, it actually blocks the wind! It is a little snug to put on, but once its on it fits very comfortably. I love that it packs into its own pocket so I can just throw it into a backpack with some drinks and go enjoy an evening on the boat.

I typically wear a size L and I could hardly get this jacket over my shoulders. I will reorder in a larger size once it's on sale again (since Columbia doesn't offer exchanges)

This is the perfect windbreaker to have in your purse, easy to fold into the little bag. Super cute a bit snug compared to the other columbia stuff I have. I for sure want another one for my kid.

I absolutely love this jacket! It does run a little small. Order a large but needed an extra large. I would recommend it to may one. Great quality!!

Keeps you dry and fits nicely. Might want a size bigger to wear over bulky clothes.

I love this jacket. I am very petite so this fits me absolutely perfect. I receive compliments every time I wear it out in how they love the color and design. I will be purchasing more in other colors.

I just wish it had a pull string in the bottom of the coat

love this jackets patter and style just wish it didn't run so small, I wear size M or L, I order jacket size L it feels more like a Small.

I have ordered a number of things from Columbia with great success. However, this jacket runs extremely small and i couldn't even get it over my shoulders.

I typically wear a L and this was skin tight. it "fit" but like a fitted sweater would fit minus the stretch. Love the look and feel of the nocturnal/white colorway, the details of the velcro on the storm guard, and finally kangaroo pockets!! I find a lot of Columbia's simple pullover type jackets or fleece never have pockets! I am gonna size up for a new one!

Bought this in the cactus pink/Azul and really love the colors. I got this for an upcoming trip to Central America as it's very lightweight and packable and won't take much room in my bag. I have not worn it in the rain yet to test the water resistance, though it seems like it will shed a bit of rain, maybe not a longer heavy rain. It's perfect as a windbreaker. I originally ordered a small, and I normally wear an XS-S in similar Columbia jackets I have. The small was way too small, almost skin tight. I could barely get it on. Returned and got a M and it fits well, though still very fitted and no room for any layers. So consider sizing up with this one. Overall great purchase!
