I like my vívosmart® 5. Great features, fit and look. I would to see routine daily activities added or be able to add daily routine activities for tracking purposes. I would also like for the notifications on screen to last longer.

I received this for free with my Twin Health program kit, so it didn't cost me. Previously I used the Xiaomi Mi Band watches, which are inexpensive and full color and clean UI. This fitness watch works very well, but it's not pretty to look at and because the screen is so small, it has to scroll some of the text on the screens. Not horrible for free, but I liked my other watch better.

I am not happy with the fact that I have to charge my vivosmart 5 every 2 1/2 days. The company states the charge should last 5 to 7 days. We have turned off many apps or widgets to have it last longer but to no avail.

I'm on a program called twin heath with my insurance and they provided me with the vivosmart 5 I think it's cool. not a big tech guy, but the product is very helpful. love it.

I buy always smart trackers because in my day iam a fan of classic watches . And in same wanna to see me health vital how is going so always i choose garmin . And this Garmin vivosmart 5 its a great device!! Just i hope soon will be a vivosmart 6 with some features more from 5 like : hrv and bodytemperature and it would be the best tracker on world :) hope vivosmart 6 will have this features respect for your great work

The device is great for what its intended use is. The app is where it shines the most giving you information about you and your body and habits. My only complaint is that the battery life is ho hum and doesnt last for as long as it seems it should for being a simple screen device. Otherwise Its amazing!

I was sent this from a health program that I participate in. The other day I pushed mowed grass for 3 hours. At the end of this time my Apple Watch had 29000 steps, Garmen had 10,000 steps. I know the Apple Watch is correct, it gives the same step count every time, or maybe a Garmen does not count steps if you have another activity selected. Even when walking activity was selected it was way off.

I was presented with the smart device a couple of months ago and since then I've found it very helpful and convenient to manage my health and be alert about it.

I was given this garmin watch from family members for my birthday and I'm loving every second of it ! Love how it can receive messages , keeps tracks of health , it makes a sound and vibration when someone calls and you see every information without having to look at your phone and personally I appreciate that, if you're at work or a job site it makes us with a garmin watch look more presentable and professional. I wear it almost every day now since I've received it and I love it so much !

I was very disappointed with Fitbit after Google took it over. I like the Garmin vivid smart 5 a lot, but I would like to see more "Activities" like golf, canoeing, etc. All in all I'm happy with it.

I'm still getting used to this but it does a great job with auto tracking runs. Battery life is excellent. Sleep tracking seems great also. Needs an explanation of sleep score though.

I find the screen is hard to read because the font and area is too small. They crowd several items on the screen to scroll up and my fingers although small hit se real at once. I hate that I have to use another app to log food which means for meals I have to not only add the the food app but wait for it to sync . It's much easier with just the device itself or the one app for Garmin but that's not an option. I am not in love with the operation of the device and the ability to log my meals.

I do like the appearance, shape, etc but cumbersome and not as user friendly as Apple

or Fit Bit to me . I so wanted it to work for me

but it has been a disappointment. It was a gift

that I specifically asked for after much research.

I have owned Apple and Fit Bit but just find them

easier to use, enter, track, and interpret my data.

I bought this a month ago. The display is easier to read when compared to my old Vivosmart 4. The downside is the battery life, my Vivosmart 4 seemed to last longer. My advice, wait for the Vivosmart 6.

I received the watch through my twin health care and have enjoyed it. Except the battery life is really terrible for some reason I've changed the settings the where it uses less battery but still bad battery life most of the time

The only thing I don't like is I have it fully charged and when my day is done the battery is like 53 percent

Love it, it's my 2nd Garmin. Try it, you'll like it.

I had this for a while before putting it into service. It was a replacement for a

VivoSport that I really liked but it quit interfacing with my phone. Once I started using it, it worked good for about 3 weeks. Then the pairing with the GPS on my phone went haywire. It would work correctly for about 5 minutes or less and then it would display a random number of miles and the display would stick to that no matter what I did. Then this week it started working correctly again. I don't know why or for how long it will work. The one thing I do know is that I'm probably done buying Garmin products of this style.

I love my new Garmin Vivosmart 5 - I can see everything that comes across my phone without having to pull it out of my purse or pocket. It's very convenient! I also like all the things it tracks - my sleep, my steps, beats per minute, pulse ox, water consumption, etc. All great things that I am interested in and love that the vivosmart keeps that top of mind and reminds me what still to do for the day. If you want to get heathier - this is a great tool to help you manage!

Bought this 3 weeks ago and still learning to use its features. Not much help from Bass Pro on how to dial in echo map with the trolling motor and vise versa.

The watch is great when it's working.i was excited about all the features it has. Tracking your activities, sleep and the giving me tips on improve my health.unfortunately, the thrill didn't last long. It stopped tracking and green light is even off. I'm unable to shuit off to reset it

I brought this a month ago and I'm glad I did. Took a little to get use to the new features, but loving it

This tracker is easy to set up, easy to use, and provides a helpful amount of information with a few easy swipes. I'm very happy with its performance.

Overall a better product than prior versions. Connection for charging significantly better. Still have trouble at times getting readings while on a bike ride. Have to make tight on my wrist to get good readings. Still disappointed it has limited lifetime and no battery changeout option. Excellent customer service.

I liked the Vivosmart 4, but the 5 is better. Although this is a minor thing, the 5 includes the date on the watch face. The 4 did not. The 5 tracks my steps well and is better at tracking my heart rate and sleep than the 4.

I was given the Vivosmart5 with my Twin journey, I had not purchased one, but let me tell you I just love this device. I like how easy it was to set up and use. Nice slim product.

I purchased this to replace a vivosmart 4, (I've had two of them and the first one I scratched the screen to be unreadable). I've been very happy with the 4 until I wore out the band. I thought I would replace it with a 5. The once piece that I didn't realize was no longer part of the 5 is the vertical component (flights of stairs, etc.) I hike a lot and like to keep track of the ascent which the 5 doesn't do. I ordered a replacement band for the 4 and returned the 5. I'm not sure why they left that out, but it would have been nice to know.

But I lost my charge cord so I had to borrow a cord from a friend

Had trouble with my Garmin Vivosmart watch reading my sleep using an iPad. Michael took ownership resolving problem to my satisfaction over a two-week timeframe.

Everything worked except the pulse ox function. Thats why I am returning it.

It's ok. The new interface is really clumsy to me, I was so used to the old one. This device is much larger than the "4". So it's not as slim. It works well, once you figure out the differences. Would be nice if all the features were seamless and exactly like the other models

Great customer service and products. Easy to use and understand

I've been using it for a year. I do not train professionally or regularly. The band only recognizes basic activities such as walking and running. Other activities must be activated via the screen - this is impractical. I don't swim non-stop for several hours. I'm resting too. In the field, sometimes I walk, then I run, I walk again, I rest, I walk again. Vivosmart gets lost in this. The tracker doesn't work without the Internet - this function bothers me the most. The GPS in the phone records the route, but the Garmin application does not see it. Then I had several interrupted walks because she only saved those where there was internet. Why this requirement for internet in the forest - I don't know, it's idiotic. Recognizing breaks in the selected activity is also strange - why do I have to confirm them? The band is very solid, I tested it while swimming in the sea, swimming pool and lake. The battery lasts long enough and charging is quick. The band is long enough that I can fasten it even around my ankle. This is important, especially at work where I work with my hands and could easily damage it.

It is an okay smartwatch. But, I am not fond of it. It is too overwhelming for me to figure details out, It does not calculate properly and unlike the tracker. I have to carry my phone all the time which is a pain in the butt.

I am not happy. The battery runs out in 2 days. Not acurate. Also flashes red all the time and bothers me. Also the red light kind of burns my skins. Wish I could return it but the time is up.b

I had a vivosmart 4 and then replaced with a Venu Sq. Venu Sq a great watch but did not look good on my very small wrist, so I ordered the vivosmart 5 and it is perfect. I like the fact this style has a way to change bands, which the vivosmart 4 did not. This style is prefect for individuals that want a fitness watch that does not look way too large on your wrist.

I bought this a few weeks ago and sofar i like its features and stuff except that when it was disconnected from my phone and i didn't have cell service i could not sync it account i couldn't log into the app with no cell service

It is pretty simple and does what I want it to do.

Love how it tracks my hybrid training, but connectivity is horrible, it will constantly connect and disconnect even if my phone is next to me, kinda sucks when im in a long run and disconnect. Messing up gps signal since it uses my phone gps to track my running. Other than that its a still a great watch

First month and have adapted well to the features. The step and pulse ox dont seem particularly accurate but good information comparing reading against each other. Wish they had one with a color oled display, an always on option, and more ways to customize what appears on the screen.

Replace my old vivosmart4 and glad I did. More functionality

It is not as user friendly as my old original Vivasmart which is probably over 10 years old. I am getting used to it and as time goes on I will utilize more and more features. I basically use the steps daily.

It's been a couple of weeks and I've been pretty happy. I love the battery life I've been making it about 7 days. I do not have the pulse ox function turned on.

I've learned a lot with the sleep tracking. It gives helpful tips and I found that it was pretty accurate about how I was feeling in the morning. I haven't been able to fully test out the suggestions but I'm making a lot of personal changes at the same time so it's been harder to start a general routine.

I like the size. It isn't too large and bulky like a smart watch tends to be.

I've taken showers with it on with no issues. I haven't tested it for swimming yet. I will soon as I am adding more to my workouts.

I bought first one through Amazon. Stoped working less than a year. Had to contact company, and finally able to get a replacement. Due to there timing had already ordered another from Amazon, and rather than return kept both. Good thing I did, because the second one stopped working less than a month! So now using the Garmin replacement that was sent without a band, so using the band from the Amazon 2nd order. Will see how long the 3rd one lasts. Chances are I will never buy another. Consider other brands before Garmin!

I bought this activity tracker as a replacement for my aging Vivosport that had been serving me well until the HR monitor became inaccurate. The Vivosmart is certainly an improvement, although it lacks a built-in GPS like the Vivosport. You might think that connecting to a phone's GPS would be just as accurate, but actually the Vivosmart, connected to my Samsung S23+, consistently showed a distance of 1.12 miles for a verified 1.02 mile route. My old Vivosport always reported the 1.02 mile distance correctly.

I do greatly appreciate the improved and customizable activities menu, especially the addition of a Yoga activity, which was not available to the Vivosport. The moving graphics for the activities are pretty cool and make it easy to recognize each activity.

People have reported that the small graphics are difficult to read. I disagree; even without my glasses I can read the display just fine.

Perhaps the most significant glitch is how difficult it is to tap the tracker face just right to select what is on the screen sometimes I have to tap 5 or 6 times before the tracker responds. I have gotten a little better at this, but it should not be so hard to execute a fundamental function like this.

This is a perfect companion to my Vivoactive 4. I use the watch for my run and the Vivosmart for the day. I like its features and its light weight. My only suggestion would be to develop a better strap. I find it somewhat clunky. A nylon strap would be great.

I like it except it digs into the side of my wrist because I have big wrists

I wear mine all the time. Battery only lasts 2 days. Great tool for monitoring calories burned and activity. Love the respiration and heart data

This is a very nice fitness tracker with numerous features beyond the Vivosport that I have enjoyed using for many years, but which Garmin apparently refuses to update since 2017. It lacks the built-in GPS of the Vivosport, and I have been avoiding trackers that depend on the GPS of my phone in case I want to track distance without my phone. But, hey, I always seem to have my phone, so what does it matter? Maybe a little bit: I have a frequently used walking route that my Vivosport and Google Maps say is exactly a mile. But when I use the Vivosmart with my phone GPS, it consistently says it is 1.12 miles. There is something to be said about having built-in GPS. The Vivosmart makes up for that with many features my Vivosport lacked. Like a dedicated Yoga tracker. No more do I have to edit my daily Yoga in Garmin Connect to change "other" to "yoga." The heart rate is accurate, at least for now. It had been in my Vivosport, but failed 2 years ago, requiring me to purchase a replacement, and recently the HR readings were much too low, which encouraged my purchase of the Vivosmart 5. Sleep tracking is much more detailed, which I greatly appreciate. The only thing I struggle with is tapping sensitivity. I often have to tap on the tracker many times before it responds, and this never happened on the Vivosport. So, I would not call the Vivosmart 5 perfect, but I am satisfied with it and happy to be able continuing to track my activities and statistics with Garmin Connect.

I purchased this product when my Vivosmart 4 band cracked off the watch. I love my Vivosmart 4 and I really wanted to like this, but it looks huge and clunky on my small wrist. It reminds me of my first Garmin HR which always got scratched and caught on things because it was so tall. The 5 does appear to have many advanced features accessible from the device.
